Great series - got the LCI LBb m2 and have mid June booked to do a trip with my best mate. Don’t suppose you have the route/itinerary list saved (hotels etc..) keep it up👍
Hi great video and thank you for taking the time doing it i know is not an easy task and the editing is great . I have few questions if you can help me . 1) how may hours and distance approximate you were driving each day . 2) the Monaco Italy seem to be your most difficult day but I understand main reason was the track day and stelvio pass and return to dropped your mate . How long you did have to drive from Monaco this day . 3) how easy is to find petrol stations 4) if you were going to do it again would you miss any part of the trip you may thought could be made differently ? 5) what month of the year you did this trip Will really apreciated if you reply this ? I am Planning to do a 12 days trip and your video will help us a lot to plan our route .
Great series of videos Marek. Taking some of your route in July in our M3. Can you give me some indication of the cost for this trip please? Just trying to budget for it and really haven't a clue regarding expenditure. Many thanks.
Thank you Paul. Difficult to say as I’m sure that some of the prices gone up (hotels, food) and some gone down (petrol). Roughly £1600 but I split the cost of hotels with my mate. This included my sea crossing which was £370. In general hotels were between €60-110 per night. Add food and drinks each day. You need vignette in Switzerland €40.
Great video and really helpful as we are booked to do a similar route in August. Can I ask what do you use for route planning ? This is our first trip with 3 cars driving the passes and not sure yet how to share a common route map with route waypoints for all 3 drivers to access! Any steer on this would be really appreciated.
Thank you. Google maps is your friend. Unfortunately you’re not allowed to use navs like Waze (agains law to use apps warning you about speed cameras and police). Plan it on Google at you PC. You can add up to 10 stops so you can do one route for each day with some stops. You then press send to my email and you can share that with your mates. On the morning you all click on the link and the route will load on your mobiles. Also you can do a street view when planning to ensure the road is suitable for your cars. Have fun!
Hi. In general I’m using 99 from Esso or Shell. More due to the cleaning additives to help keep the engine clean rather than additional power. I filled up with 102 only when I got to Nurburgring. Sure there is a little difference especially between 95 and 102 but it’s not huge. But it’s healthier for the engine to have higher octane fuel when you push it to its limits.
Hello, Thank you, for your video. I tried to make the exact same route as yours. Can you check my route map, if I send you online, because I doubt Google or I made a mistake. Thanks ahead
Thanks for the insights, Marek. Great video, as were the series on your road-trip 😃👍
Thank you
Excelent video....I try to remember all roads and in future I will go there....
Thank you

I was hoping you'd make this video! Can you tell me where the view point/walk way for the view of Mount Blanc was?
Look for Passerella Panoramica next to road road SS26
Tks man, very useful
Not a problem. Hope you visit the places one day!
@@MDrives I'm going in 4 weeks!! :)

@@MDrives Fantastic and thank you that's really helpful. It was how to share the route plan we were struggling with but this works, thanks again
Do you fill up the car with ultimae 102 when you were in the germany ? And do you fill the difference between uk and eu fuel?

@@MDrives in our country i always fill up my m240i with 100plus and i hope it will help for the engine to be better for long period of time.
Thank you for the route! We are planning to go this year! By any chance do you have the route planned on google maps?
Unfortunately I don’t any more. Sorry. I hope you have a fantastic time!
@@MDrivesif you check your Google maps time line history by date and time, it will show the exact route. If you had location sharing turned on
@@E60.M5 thanks! I will try that 🙂
