Thanks to Thetechdude6 for the info on multi-link. The small, hanging style Skullcandy speakers, the Ounce and Kilo, don't have multi-link compatibility. All 3 hand-held Terrain speakers do. 😉

You would link the little ones and they would run as tweeters, where your larger speaks would pound out the bass. Think of how a system in a car or your home theater would work. I have a terrain mini, that little speaker pounds for what it is, I've had other brand speakers at comparable prices

I just started watching it it sounds great already. But I think the greatness I'm hearing is coming from the two Skullcandy barrel speakers lol

I'm sure the Terrain isn't adding much positive to this sound demo. 😆

How do you pair two barrel speakers together? It says to have one speaker connected and one disconnected and to press the power button 3 times so they can connect together but its not working. Maybe im doing it wrong?

Multi link does not work with the Skullcandy ounce and kilo, which are skull candies smallest speakers.

Thanks for that info. So the Terrain speakers and these two larger ones. There are supposed to be 2 larger Stomp speakers eventually, but I guess they haven't been released yet.

@@JaysStraightUpReviews if they're trying to make the stomp series there party line, they really do need something to compete with the JBL extreme 3. Honestly, they really need to rework their entire portable speaker lineup. The terrain speakers are terrible. The ounce competes with the JBL Go 3, and the kilo competes with the clip 4. That's all good. But the Terrain mini then would theoretically compete with the JBL flip 6. That thing does not compare with a JBL flip 6. It barely can keep up with a JBL clip 4. Then, the Terrain with a JBL charge 5. That thing can't even keep up with a flip 6, and is only a bit better than the Terrain mini, which again barely competes with a clip 4. Then, the Terrain XL, which just gets absolutely pounded by the extreme 3. so the Terrain mini second generation has to be the replacement for the Terrain XL, and also has to be better than the XL by a large margin. Skullcandy just did not do well with the Terrain speakers at all, especially compared to the JBL counterparts. Sorry, this was a lot taken. Basically what I'm saying is that Skullcandy has a good thing going on with their party speakers, boombox speaker, and smallest portable speakers. But there three middle range portable speakers are pure garbage and must be replaced. The barrel XT needs a midcycle refresh with an IP X7 design.
