- Hey guys just a quick speaker battle between the skullcandy Barrel xt and the skullcandy stomp, both great speakers especially at the price point!!!

I think where Skullcandy dropped the ball with the Stomp is not including any microphone jacks. It's more of a small party style speaker in it's design, so not adding mic jacks, or at least one, was a big oversight. Even the Onn Medium Gen 2 speaker has a mic jack.
Ya you hit the nail on the head with that, if they would have included a microphone or two like the encore, or at least a jack to hook one in I think it would have justified the price better

Both sound really good for the price! I like the deep thick bass the Skullcandy barrel xt is giving a bit more than the stomp

Nice review beautiful but sharp speakers,,,,,mi sister has a Skullcandy ounce,,and I compared it to mi JBL go 3 and it was alright ❤️❤️
I like the stomp and barrel xt quite a lot, they are a bit more sharp sounding than other speakers for sure
Tbh, i' d prefer getting a clearer sound from the Stomp rather than a more muffled one from the Barrel with slightly more base..i can cope with the basic illuminatiion combinations of the Stomp...

If these speakers put out more power & had larger batteries, their price would be warranted.

Yeah, SkullCandy needs to lower the price of the barrel XL. You can pick up the 120 watt Zealot for $189.99 & the Tronsmart Bang Max which is 130 watts for $180 -$190.00.
What zealot are you talking about? The bang max I heard is good till 60 percent volume then gets super harsh and hard to listen to, but I want to get one soon and see, the barrel xt should be like 130$ 140$ in my opinion

I got the barrel xl for 79 dollars on november and its awesome! I got two!

Ya not the most pretty or esthetic looking speaker out there ha ha
The one thing I've noticed about my barrel is it needs direct connection from a headphone jack for it to sound better. The volume thing is based on whether its plugged into the wall or not in my experience.@Jagistreviews
@CallMeTeach2 ya it definitely gets louder and more full even plugged into the power outlet, I never tries playing anything through it with the aux port
