Back when Walmart had the Barrel XT for $79 I was going to buy two but my wife would not accept our speakers having a skull on them. Went with the Encores and we're very happy.
Honestly encores sound better for sure, skullcandy Barrel XT is good but encore is definitely better in my opinion

That's a shame she wouldn't let you get the skullcandy especially at the price they where, but like I said in my opinion the jbl encore is superior to the skullcandy in about every way sound wise
Well, I did the recording on the W-King and Tronsmart, after EQ they sound pretty damn solid. But i remember hating the Skullcandy 😭 that treble was like a razor to my ears
I'm excited too get a tronsmart bang max, ya the skullcandy has two versions and I'm wondering if one is worse than the other ha ha, mine sounds great up to 60 percent but can get muddy and fatiguing at full blast, definitely there are better more solid options out there for the price, like I'd rather have the tribit stormbox blast, it doesn't go as deep in the bass but sounds much better especially at full blast
Good review very detailed. How about using it as a "soundbar"? Will it work without any sound latency?

I got the skull candy during the $80 sale for my son. I tested it myself before wrapping it. Was seriously impressed with it. Listening on here to the 2 the w-king sounds tiny or echo. The barrel has more depth
The skullcandy is a good speaker for the price, I wish my microphones could do more justice but in person the wking definitely has a broader soundstage more control quite a large bit louder and maintains its bass better at max volume but it also cost a lot more, I still like my skullcandy a lot though for sure

It's definitely better than the tribit stormbox blast but the blast holds its own decently

Please do a comparison between the Go+Play 3 and the Wking X20. I'm new to your channel and I've watched several of your videos. You're doing a good job, although I'd appreciate hearing more of your detailed impressions of the nuances of the sound quality of these speakers. Descriptives like: Sparkle and detail of voices, insruments, tinny, screechy, smooth, warm, roll off prematurely, tightness, sloppiness of the bass, able to produce low bass or just mid or high bass, bass prominence even at lower volumes, off access listening, soundstage big, wide, open, small....... If you spend more time conveying these and other nuances of the sound, and less time repetitively going on about loudness and bass, I think your viewership will grow. Thank you.

I haven't yet, I'm actually working on getting another jbl boombox 3 and then I will test them againts each other, but from what I've seen on other channels they are basically neck and neck
@@Jagistreviews I had two w king x10-1s paired together year ago. X- was way louder than my jbl extreme 1 and 2!!! Nice quality build from w king. I always had JBL, but other speakers are out doing them, over priced and not as many features. 😂

Heck yes!!! I just barely got the t9 pro and haven't even unboxed it yet but I'll be doing a unboxing and sound test hopefully tomorrow and then I'll battle it againts the x20 next, I just work a lot these next 7 days so I'll try to work it all in

i watch in other video that skullcandy has a lot of distortion at max volume in bass mode. i hope that zealot brand fix that distortion for some of them units, x20 is winner at this comparison in all aspects. good video bro.

Thank you for watching and supporting me 😁 and I've had good luck with my skullcandy it doesn't really distort but it does get muddy at high volumes and the treble gets a bit piercing at full blast, this x20 definitely kicks its butt ha ha, and yup that is the t9 pro, I'm going to do a unboxing and sound test super soon and then put it up againts the x20 😁

Whats your best EQ for bass. Just got the x20. To be honest not blown away it gets lower end bass than the Tribit . But the tribit had punchie bass would rattle some things in the room the x20 cant do that. Only tested the x20 for 10mins ill keep messing with it.
I'll post my eq I use on my page, but ya tribit does have a lot of punchy bass even more punchy bass then bb3 but the bb3 and this reach lower in hertz so that's the trade off most of the time unfortunately

I'm just curious, but what brand & model phone are you using? I'm only asking because most phones' sound signature varies. This does make a difference. Just ask someone who's listened to music on Bluetooth speakers & or car stereos using a 14ProMax, in comparison to the 15ProMax. There's a huge disparity in the sound signature.
That's very true, I use a Samsung galaxy fold 3 on all my videos, till I upgrade in the future

The only problem i have with the Skullcandy is at full volume it becomes very muddy it loses so much bass and the high frequencies are to overwhelming but at 50% the bass is awesome the w king is for sure the winer
I agree 100 percent, it's one of the better sounding speakers at 50 percent but full volume is just not good on it at all
I would go for w-king if sound matters, and choose skullcandy for its unique design 😍

Do you have an issue with the X20 and tweeter hiss? Mine is dead silent until certain hissy songs...then it gets very noticeable. Moreso than on any other speaker I have listened too.
When I get home I'll check it out and see but I don't think I've has any tweeter hissing problems that I've noticed at least
I am finding that it has to do with noisy recordings. The hiss that is present on especially older recordings is causing digital noise to be heard. On my X20, when I turn it on, the power on sound and especially the voice notification has a lot of digital noise...that is what it sounds like in the static of noisy songs. Hope that description helps. Thanks.

Tengo un sony xb43 y una onix 5 pero en la playa se pierden muy poco sonido la bombox 3 esta muy cara que otro parlante me recomendaria
He llevado mi stormbox blast a la playa y de verdad suena muy bien, pero digo que te esperes a más reviews d w king x20 ya que tiene muchas más cosas (carga USB c, sd, salida aux)

I'm having a weird problem with my Wking.. worked fine when connected to my phone on day one.. now on day 2 every other device connected to it works fine except my phone.. no sound 😢
It can only remember so many devices I believe, look up how to reset the memory and if that doesn't work then reset the whole speaker and try again
Crazy this is happening.. I have tried everything you suggested twice.. to delete paired devices is by holding the + and - at the same time for 10 seconds.. that didn't work either.. I guess calling them it's my next thing to do🤦♂️
@bluntzy0414 I'm sorry that's happening, that's so crazy that nothing is working, I have no idea what to do, I would for sure call them and see if they can help
They both sounded good to me on video but I think the Skullcandy needs to have a third party EQ and try it again. I just don't think it sounds 80 to 100 bucks better.

The skullcandy does pretty dang good and goes deep in bass like the bb3 but the bb3 is a superior product it's louder and better bass by some plus great instrument separation, but the bb3 cost a lot more, the skullcandy is on the level of the tribit stormbox blast, tribit sounds cleaner and not muddy but the skullcandy has a deeper more robust bass in my opinion
THE X20 IS LOUDER AND BOOMIER BUT THE CLARITY ISN'T AS BRIGHT AS THE BARROW .I SAY THE W KING PREVAILS BECAUSE IT HAS MORE VOLUME ANS SEPARATION .
Very good analysis, I would agree the barrel has more brightness to it but at full volume gets a bit overwhelming and the bass lessens quite a lot, the x20 maintains great bass up to full volume and has very good separate of instruments and voices, it definitely doesn't pick up everything on my recordings ha ha I will get better equipment eventually
