- I am back! I am doing a series on Ranger School for those of you interested. this first video is just an introduction to the school and the prep phase, the next video I'll tackle Darby phase.
I'll do my best to answer any questions you ask.

Do you want to go back through RASP and into regiment again? Or what are your future plans at this point?
Ranger Regiment has the highest graduation rates out of all unit that send people to Ranger School.
Thank you for your videos man they've been really informativeI'm shipping out in a week with an Option 40 as a 13F. Two questions if I may: 1) What do FiSTers do in Regiment from your experience 2) Do you know if regiment is deploying now? I understand we're in peacetime
1. Not sure tbh, didn't do anything with 13F
2. Regiment is always deploying.
13F is an artillery forward observer they don’t work with Rangers
Jon Plank Lol 13F have always been able to join the 75th. They are very important to the infantry line platoons. It’s honestly one of the best jobs to have as a Ranger.

82nd is guaranteed to send you to ranger school

How likely is it to get a slot at ranger school in a national guard infantry unit?
I don't know to be honest. I would assume pretty difficult, but you'd have to ask someone in the NG.

Depends on your unit MTOE. I was in Scout Platoon with HHC. Scouts had the only Ranger qualified slots in the company and we only had 3 slots for Ranger School a year.
