@JonathanShelton, make sure you gain at least 10-15lbs on your body before attending Ranger school IOT to have energy during the overall course but keep in shape.
It's so long I do t know how much that would matter, but if you do decide to gain the weight I agree with you make sure you stay fit enough so it doesn't hinder your physical performance during RAP week. No point in having a bit of fat on you if you can't make it to DARBY patrols. When did you go through school?

Do you have life jacket on the whole time during CWS?
From what I remember. You may have to do a short swim test after without it, I honestly don't remember.
Did anyone fall into the water?
I want to say yes, but I honestly don't remember.
