- www.WhereGoldIs... In this video we continue to show you how we find gold in a small mountain creek. It's too wet to use dry washers, but there isn't enough water to run a sluice, so we had to modify our techniques.
Your technique for prospecting is mind blowing, u make it look so easy. Great show, thanks
You have been so interesting to watch. I don't pan but my son-in-law with my grandkids do and they love it. It is a nice day to spend with the family for a healthy outdoor activity. Kudos to those that do it for a living!
The pump doesn't run off AC? Wondering why you are using the battery at home...
really enjoy your videos by the way. Making my way through the series.
I use the same pump at the house and out in the field, so a battery powered one is what I use.
Another great video
Wish I had more time to do this on a daily basis !
I wanna gold pan with you sometime!!
good videos , I like the accent , sounds kind of like Kennedy's , He can not produce a proper H Sound , But I have never seen more accurate straightforward truth about finding Gold Procedures :) QC
good videos. Did you know ebay has dewalt dc vacs for $70.
Very interesting video. When you get through going through your buckets, can you give us an idea of your final tally? Either the total gold weight, or value is US dollars?
Thanks
This day yielded about 1.75 grams, which was at the time a little under 100$ for 5-6 hours of mining and 1.5 hours of driving and 1 hour of sluicing at home.
Very good feedback! Thanks for your time, and I enjoy your video's.
How is that only $100? Doesn't gold go for $1200 an ounce?
@@hughmunguswhat there is 31 grams in an ounce of precious metal (1 Troy Ounce)
thank you
So... how much gold did your 12 buckets yield?

@@HowToDrillAWell Fun , but not fa me! to old .lol Thanks for the time
Very useful strategy and tips! How did you fabricate your classifier that fits deep inside of the 5-gallon bucket with a handle on each side?
I'm afraid thats one of those things that, if you have the necessary skills and tools, you'd already know; if not, explaining it wouldn't really help :)
It looks like a wire waste paper basket that you can get at Walmart. With homemade handles.
Man that's a dick head answer for someone asking you a genuine question and being interested in your classifier. Need to work on your interaction with viewers there buddy. Disappointed over helel
what accent is that? when you say "Here" sounds interesting.. hi from Australia
im Australian .. sound nothing like hi from here lol sounds like heruh
He sounds like he's from the USA, but he either has a speech impediment or a really strange "Jersey-ish" (New Jersey) accent. I lean towards speech impediment, but it's close.
usertubeification is an ASS!!!
@@lsl1192 Don't sweat it, he's just a piece of shit. Tough guy being a big bad internet bully. I'm leaning towards he's a bitch.
@@mj9608 The end of his comment is him greeting the channel owner. As in "Hello from here in Australia".
I live in North Georgia Cherokee county and all my black sand is magnetite. I was wondering if this is normal because I am new to mining aswell as sluicing.
It's basically a non-issue. It doesn't matter how much black sand you have, or what type it is; what matters is how much gold is in it, and the only thing black sand tells you is whether you're finding heavy materials in your pan or not. Black sand, because it's the second-heaviest thing in the creek, tends to follow gold; but the presence of black sand does not tell you that gold is there.
Yes black sand is rely iron and its magnetic so that is normal and if you have black sand your gonna have gold!!!
Clay Yates
That's just not true. Black sand is often present without gold. In fact, statistically, it's almost ALWAYS present without gold.
But when there IS gold, black sand generally indicates that you are near where the gold might be, because black sand is heavier than most other things in the creek, so it behaves like gold.
@@clayyates2416 mamas wrong again
do you ever show the results?!
can this process be performed anywhere?
+Anne Louissaint Sure, but there isn't gold in most place. Plus there are a few public lands were it's not legal, so check the local authorities.
all good but what happened too showing us what you found lol
i have some property in oregon with claim would u interested in mining or anyone else ?

Bro, at 8:03 I thought that rock was "A good sized nugget" I was like how the hell is he not more excited right now man I damn near jumped out of my seat lol
What state are you in? Because in utah there's nothing but flour gold. Do you have any videos on flour gold recovery and techniques?
will broccolo California. I would start at the beginning with my videos; size of gold makes little difference, it all acts the same. Just have to be a bit more careful with fine gold, you'll definitely need a gold hog mat and a blue bowl.
Thanks for the help. I was told to run my sluice with no riffles as well. Do you agree?
will broccolo Yes, but if you use the gold hog mat that wouldn't be an issue. I'd watch some of their videos, their mat is by far the best on fine gold, IMO.
thanks for sharing your how to do it.
subsrcibed
r u using gold hog mats ?
Yes I am.
i thought so ok thanks
What about using pint point metal detector -very accurate specily when looking for small pieces metal gold silver copper etc Great video Thanks for shearing God bless You and happy hunting
That could work, I haven't experimented with them before.
You can't efficiently search much terrain when using a pin pointer. This is the reason why you see prospectors (and relic hunters) using pin pointers After they have located a target, excavated a plug, and need to really zero in on the target's exact location.
What kind of metal detector do you use I'm looking into getting one. Your videos are great I'm learning a lot I appreciate it.
At the time I was using a Whites GMT. It was a good one, but I'm sure there are much better ones now.
