The only place in California where they found diamonds platinum and gold. It's still here but nobody wants to work!

Hi David. The Jet Dry is used to break the surface tension of the water so that any floating gold can sink to the bottom. I'm sure you've seen a spider or other insects walking on water before, well what they are actually walking on is a very minuet tension on the water surface. Very small gold flakes and flower gold can also float on this surface, a couple of drops of Jet Dry in your gold pan breaks this tension and anything on the surface will sink. Thanks for watching.
