    I've been watching your videos the last couple days. I have flour gold and your videos have been really helpful.
    You are the Bob Ross of gold prospecting!

    Now that was an eyeopener. Everybody you talk to has their own opinions/ideas on how things work. You have a back-up....... facts that have been researched and followed up by more research. As I've said, this was a real eyeopener! Thank you for your time and your sharing this with us. Going to make a big difference with my sluice design. Cheers mate :)

    Thanks for making a new mat focused on this. We mapped the old mill sites that actually had trommels out here in the western Mohave. A friend got 11 ounces running the old tailings from one of these mill sites. But we have to run our drywashers in a really slow, low air push mode but maybe tor new mats will help us get this ultra ultra fine stuff. It’s probably the same size or smaller than Ray’s gold. Yeah it’s fine.

      I have run other people’s tailing/throw away piles and gotten more fine than their chunky take. Best mats hands down in the market.
      As far as running a gold cube... either before or after we found that we don’t even need to run in conjunction at all. The only time we run the cube is when we need a smaller footprint overall. Now we just grab a multi sluice and jam out.

    I'm thinking about about fitting my sluice with Scrubber at the top, then Talon in the middle and Motherlode at the end. Does that sound like a good combo? It's one of those 50'' foldable sluices and I usually like higher flow.

    What would be best for a 6" and a 20" run. Highbanker with a 2,000 gph or a 1100 gph 12 volt operated.

    So Doc....GREAT VIDEO,
    A couple of questions if I mat....
    I have your Stream Sluice with the header box. Using the header box and a 2000 or 2500 GPH bilge pump effectively makes it a hybrid highbanker.
    Knowing that the absolute largest gold in my area is about the size of a grain of rice...would you recommend using the more aggressive mat for that application?
    Now...I have a homemade 1 1/2” suction nozzle (running off of another 2500GPH bilge pump and it works far better than my expectations btw) that I want to feed it using GH header box and a separate pump to provide wash water. Would you recommend I add an extension using the other less aggressive mat?

    • @georgiagoldguy
      @georgiagoldguy  5 лет назад +1

      At least one or two aggressive mats up top, then all smooth matting below.

    • @SalmonKing52
      @SalmonKing52 5 лет назад

      After trying both I decided to go with the low flow mat up top and Wave mat in the extension. LOVE IT!
      I get consistent results on beach sands...next step is to try it on river gravel bars.

    You just don't talk much about the UR mat... What have you found to be the best application for it? I beach mine in Oregon and Washington ... Material is very consistent, just sand, No aggregate to deal with.

    Is very fine gold magnetic? You can put magnet in water so that they [beach sand] don't compete with gold in mat.
