So I’ve got a 2007 Pontiac G5 and I went to go look at my flex pipe and I looked online to get some information about it and nothing was popping up until I looked up cobalt so the person before me must of put a cobalt flex pipe on my Pontiac and was dumbfounded why until I learned they are more or less the exact same thing
@@51-FS not quite, I’ve got a Pontiac Pursuit which is Canada’s G5/Cobalt. All three have the same flex pipe but it is less common for them to put names like the pursuit into the description. Swapping the manifold leaves you with the same flex pipe, you just sometimes have to buy parts labeled for Cobalts knowing it’s the same drivetrain. Badging and minor exterior changes are the only actually differences.
How much do u charge or whats a good price for changing or fixing a flex pipe for a 2010 Chevy cobalt I've heard anywhere from 80 to 220 dollars?? I've called a few mufflers place. Just need some help.
Well the parts have gone up. I think just this flex pipe is like 80 bucks now. I would say 1 to 2 hours labor on top of that whatever the going rate is. If you were to drop the car off and pick it up and got charged 200 dollars I'd say you were done pretty fair.

Ya I think essentially just different badging.
So we need to put a G5 manifold on the cobalt? To do a way with the flex pipe?
