How is that Cody heel turn going to even work? Like people sing his song and I don’t think he will change it so why even turn him heel there is no point.
I also think KO turning heel is a bit too simple… don’t know if this is a red herring for either Randy to do the turn or for Cody to turn on everyone… one things for sure, current WWE booking is mostly unpredictable which has been a long time coming.
a lot of the discussion of the various moving parts, like a cody heel turn, looks like there’s a bigger picture of the journey of wwe trying to make roman reigns get genuinely cheered by all the fans. they’re like using judo or the fan’s own momentum just to have roman get over with the most fans as possible. like he’s some sort of top figure above everybody. as a heel it was easier since you had hus guys outnumber everybody. as a babyface it is harder because you can’t do that same old trick.

Also, i love that you only mentioned Jacey Jayne and Fallon Henley, because Nyx is terrible and bland (so is Jakara Jackson, though I feel Lash Legend is almost ready to go up)

After all the boo’s he’s received because of forced pushes in the McMahon years it’d be stupid to go with the fans (who are calling Roman’s name every week) when they can get more boo’s from him by turning on Cody and setting a chain of events more important than a quick 6 month pop of everyone loving Roman before they remember how he was winning his matches and how The Bloodline carried him each time.

Roman has to reassemble the entire Bloodline to fend off AEW invasion. Cody would be the ultimate heel, and never be able to really turn from it, but it'll print like a year's worth of money.
