0:31 if I plug my headphones to the Monitor (that has a headphone jack), will I be able to hear the audio while recording the audio? Great video btw, very straight forward!
Yeah, as long as your monitor has a headphone jack and you use that instead of the Switch, you'll be able to hear the audio while you record! Good luck and thanks!
@@Typfoon Thanks man today I recorded for the first time and the audio was not recorded cause my headphones were plugged in the switch. But tommorow I'll try again plugging the headset to the tv and see if it works.
Thank you! This was the first video that actually addressed this issue properly. Many times before the solution was simply to have it output through OBS and your PC, but the audio with the HD60 is always a few seconds behind.
So I'm getting audio by using this, but I'm not getting any display? I have an HDMI running from my switch into the HDMI In port on the Tecsun, an HDMI running from the OUT of the Tecsun to the IN of the HD60 Pro, then another HDMI running from the HDMI OUT on the Switch to my Monitor. I haven't done this with a mix amp so I am not 100% sure how the setup would be with that. If your video isn't showing, double-check your connections to the monitor and make sure your cables and converter are in working order. Good luck!

I would like to voice chat on fortnite and show what others are saying in-game but since my headset is plugged into my switch i would be the only one hearing what their saying. Is there some kind of audio mixer? that's all i would like to know, for the rest great vid!
Honestly I am not sure! I haven't used a headset with the Switch, so I don't know what the best approach would be. Might be worth looking into some sort of mixer that has solved that? Or find a channel that has Switch/Fortnite content and ask them?
I have a question does the HDMI Extractor have a volume control? Because i was going to use my Turtle Beach Ear Force DSS 7.1 Dolby Surround Sound Processor which i use to get the game audio to my head phones while recording my videos for my ps4. but now i cant do that since the Nintendo switch does not have a optical port for this setup.
I tried something else, if you have a headset with USB port, you can plug that into the hub of the switch. I don't know if this will work for other people
I'm using the Elgato HD (non 60) and bought the same HDMI extractor as you. plugged it in the way you said and I have footage on my montior and audio works through the headphones but still doesn't come through to my PC. +Typhoon I have one more question for someone knowledgeable about the Elgato HD60S Software, I have two 29UM68 UltraWide Monitors and I’m having problems with the Audio. When you’re recording gameplay from the computer monitor is it bad to have both volumes on the Monitors running at the same time? Because I’m noticing volume issues with certain sounds when recording Gameplay on breath of the wild, when I feed my horse a apple or carrot the horse makes a very bad sound after words and I’m afraid my Nintendo Switch will get damaged! If anyone knowledgeable about the Elgato HD60S knows these issues please reply back I’d really appreciate it!
Honestly I am not sure what is causing that.
