Nintendo really needs to catch up to be livestreaming-friendly. You'd think a company who's killing it financially would implement features that other game companies have long established.
I mean Nintendo has always been a bit behind when it comes to online capabilities. I mean you just have to look at how bad playing Smash Bros online is to see they don't put online capabilities as a high priority.
Nintendo has banked so much money that they can run a deficit of $200mil for like 30 years. They'll only do something if it's a new gimmick, saves face or someone really high up wants to do it.
The advice to build it up slowly is EXCELLENT advice, as it allows you to also make intelligent purchases that are geared for *your* needs. You can afford to make a few bad choices when it's in the realm of $50-$150 for ill-fitting gear instead of $400++. :)
I just want to play my switch on pc and be able to alt tab without spending too much... I just like making my life complicated by trying to make it simpler. I wanna hear both sources too at the same time.

I'm a low-budget gamer who over a few years has accumulated an Audio Techica AT2020 mic with a small mixer for it, and HP Pavilion laptop, OBS, and a couple other things, but now, streaming and recording seems to be within my reach, and while it might not work how I want it to, going forward with this knowledge will definitely help. 5:04 you can actually avoid plugging headphones into any other device besides the computer with the Elgato software (or OBS). Elgato software (Game Capture HD) allows audio passthrough from the device, just increase the volume under "game audio". OBS you go to advance audio settings and set the Elgato to listen and output and it allows you to do both

Dude your video is the best for helping setting this up for some reason other people do a poor job on what input goes to which location you earned my like and sub.
One more important thing I didn’t know about is that you need to link your stream key from the streaming platform of your choice to the program you stream with. Sometimes the programs simply let you just log into your streaming platform account, but stream keys are pretty standard. You shouldn’t share your stream key with anyone or else they will be able to stream on your account.
