Edele is so narcissistic she can’t even take feedback without blaming Lindsey for giving it
Can tell Edele was literally everything Lindsay said, can even see her bullying her as an adult with aggressive tone
I always respected Lindsay for standing up to Edele.
Edele strikes me as an overpowering bully.

Wow that Adele is something else... After she had her say and told Sinead how terrible she felt when Sinead wanted to find herself as if she did something wrong and Adele was a victim. Then How domineering is she towards Lindsey? As Lindsey is telling the others how overwhelmed and felt she could never speak or give her opinion, Adele asked Who made you feel like that...She answered "You did".... Then Adele goes on about how its a bad thing to tell someone you made them feel that way.... When it was Adele who asked them the question. Her reaction just proved what Lindsey was saying was true.
Sinead is the prettiest of them. I used to have a crush on Edele back then. Edele seems arrogant up to this day but I'm glad that she and Sinead already made up because they had a falling out as best friends.

There's clearly still a lot of animosity aimed at Edele from Sinead & Lindsay. I could tell Edele was the issue before this episode was aired.U only have to look at all the old interview footage from 14/15 years ago to see how Edele thought she WAS the band, and how she talked over everyone else when they tried to speak. Edele did it then, and the truth is, as shown in this episode, she's still doing it now. Edele is only doing the reunion for her own ego, the money, and cos Barbarellas failed.

God, Edele is a mess of a person. Your best friend (as in Sinead) wants a life of her own and some space, and you act traumatised and cry like a victim about it ten years later?! Also attacking Lindsey like that shows how egocentric she is, can't take any criticism. She really needs to get over herself and take a leaf out of kind hearted Keavy.

When her husband left her, all she could do was run to the press whinging that she wouldn't have any more children. Wasn't at all bothered about losing her husband. Closet lesbian in a fake marriage purely to have kids, anyone?
And poor heterophobic, straight male hating Keavy, still single, no boyfriend apart from the very obvious gay beards so she can run to the press and make herself look straight, while constantly playing the "lesbian spinster living alone with a dog" routine on social media, and sucking on her lesbian fans while treating straight people like dog shit.
As for Lindsey, she clearly wasn't getting any rug munching action from Edele back in the day and is still terribly bitter about it.
At least Sinead got married, had kids, and is still married.

How did the Fans react to Sugababes Replacements. When Diana Ross left The Supremes in 1970, the replacements were great but Berry Gordy would never allow their career to supercede Diana Ross's. In 1977 they were booed off stage and try as she might, Mary Wilson (1944-2021) never achieved the fame that diana ross did and was always scared that she'd end up like Florence Ballard. In the prologue of dreamgirl my life as a supreme, she admitted folks wondered if she ended up like some Pop miss havisham in a low income apartment wearing and old supreme gown looking over old albums wishing for the past glory that never came into fruition.
Love this series! Was a big fan of a few of the boy/girl bands of the 90's. I saw B*Witched, The Honeyz, and 5ive when they came to Sydney haha.. I would've screamed like a teenage girl again if I saw 5ive in that bar!
Edele is a self centred piece of work. She was the lead because it was her idea but she wasn’t the most talented or prettiest and she clearly took that out on the others. The way she spoke to Sinead and Lindsay even at this point tells you everything about her character. 🤢

I think there's still some animosity between Lindsay and Edele. Edele had this "I don't know what you are talking about" look when Lindsay was explaining how she felt about their relationship or lack there of. Sinead gave Edele this sideways look of "b**** you know WTF she's talking so don't sit there act like you have no idea" After all these years I sense that Lindsay still views Edele as overpowering. I am the only one who views Edele and Sinead's "INTENSE" marriage like relationship weird?
Having seen Edel on Celebrity Apprentice in Ireland she comes across so passive aggressive and its always tough to call out someone like that, because they haven't actually said anything to annoy or intimidate but their demeanour and presence does it anyway. So I get Lindsay's point but a person with Edel's personality will always twist it so she appears like the good guy and the other person is over sensitive.
Both Edele and Keavy are very aggressive. They're both as nasty as each other. Keavy hides it better, but it doesn't take much for her to start on people either. And neither of them will tolerate being pulled up on it. If you do, they become a couple of screaming toddlers. I heard years ago that Sony couldn't wait to get shot of them because they were so "difficult". Then there were all the lesbian sex rumours as well. Apparently they were a running joke at Sony.
Nailed on. Edele's a massive pain in the tits. However, everything she says is designed to be annoying. It's a face you could never tire slapping.
She also seems genuinely unaware that they had felt the way they did. People can't change a behavior they don't recognize in themselves if attention is never brought to it.

The saddest thing is to see that with all the boys and girls bands, none of them have had proper counseling. a psychologist who had worked with them on how to deal with the situation they are in. so much misery could have been prevented with that and even after these young people had stopped they needed guidance to function in normal life again. record companies are only concerned with money and do not take into account that these are people and not money machines. young people are so impressionable and that has been taken advantage of so much. with often dire consequences. unfortunately this still happens today.
I never thought about how challenging it must be to be a Twin and be in a Group. There were so many. The Shangri-Las, Bee Gees, Whispers, Jagged Edge, and Styx.

I can't help but think the relationship between Edele and Sinead was WAY more than just "friendly". Seems like in here Edele loves Sinead more than a friend, even today.
Yeah exactly... I've had some REALLY close girlfriends throughout my life that have come and gone and I can't say I would burst into tears about any of them now 10 years later because that's life, people come and go... to be THAT upset by seeing your former friend again, and being that ANGRY that they moved on with their life, there has to be a level of obsession or romantic interest there for it to hurt that much. I say that as a bisexual woman myself.
Very brave and observant of you to say. There are people who feel that Cheryl Ann Tweedy & Kimberley Walsh formerly of Girls Aloud are in that same boat. I think it's because they came from so little. Cheryl grew up in a Council House aka Low Income Housing Project/Ghetto, Kimberley's Family almost ended up Homeless as Kids. They had a couple of setbacks but became successful. I hear that they still own the Flat that they once lived in when starting out. Nadine & Nicola shared a Flat while Sarah lived on her own in The Same Building. I read both of their Books, and I was shocked at what they went through.

Edele has a weird obsession with sinead
There were rumours going round I heard more than once that basically implied Edele and Sinead were more than just band mates and friends. Watching this back again, I def think there’s some truth to the rumour. From what I read, the impression I got was it was instigated by Edele. A lot of girl’s experiment in the 20s, especially if they spend that much time together. The version of events I heard about the whole thing was Sinead was sort of coerced into this what erm “relationship” as Edele was very good at manipulating and as time went on, Edele became overly dependent on Sinead to the point Sinead had to walk just to re establish her own identity after being brainwashed and controlled for her entire time in the group by Edele -make of that what you will! 😏
Hate that Epic screwed B*Witched over. I actually got to meet all four girls when they were on tour with 98 Degrees and Jessica Simpson. Great girls!
+Dj Lace Their label dumped them because they were a year overdue with their third album, and it was nowhere near being finished. All the "we were dropped just as we were about to shoot the video for our new single, and none of us were expecting it" stuff that Edele has been peddling for years is bullshit.
