    Just a time saving tip in case you're still moving bars back to zero by hand in camera raw - if you click 'Default' it'll set everything back to zero! Great tutorial though, the colours came out really nice.

    One of the many problems of watching videos such as this one is that, in this case, you are told to go to 'filter' and, from the pulldown menu, select 'camera raw' (I'm not using a raw file). '
    I am using PS 6. There is NO 'CAMERA RAW FILTER' under 'filter' located in the menue bar. Guess I'll look elsewhere.

    Hi Temperate! I am new on Photoshop and I am a little bit confused about how to save edited raw images from photoshop to the best quality extension. For example, I edited a raw image on photoshop and I saved in JPEG, but I have noticed that the quality of the image decreased a lot. Could you help me ?
    I loved your channel and your photos are amazing !
    Thank you ;)

      Carina Ezequiel Hey there, jpeg is the best format to save an image into when you are ready to share an image online or with people. When doing this to save your jpeg in the best quality settings, make sure you move the image quality up to the highest possible number (usually 12) when you are prompted to while saving. If you plan to work on an image again in the future and want to make sure your image is saved in its highest quality setting save the image as a psd file (photoshop file), that way you won't be compressing your image at all and can comeback and edit it when you are ready. PSD files also save your layers which will allow you to readjust things when you open it back up. Hope that helps! =)

    +Temperate Sage Hello I would like to know how to open raw files in photoshop. I shot my photos in raw mode but when I open them in photoshop it says Jpeg. Im still fairly new to this so if you could tell me whats happening with this that would be a huge help? Thank you!!

      +AG FilmWriter Hey there, hmm when you open a raw file it should open a "Camera Raw" tool with the photo in it. At that point you should be able to make raw adjustments before finishing opening the file into photoshop. Once you open the file though, you can either save it as a JPEG or PSD, or png etc. You can't really benefit from re-saving the file as a raw. If that isn't the problem then it is likely something I haven't run into before. But yeah, if you want to save you files in large format for working on again I recommend saving them as PSD's. JPEG is for when you are ready to use and share them. Hope that answers your question!

      +AG FilmWriter the easiest way to open up a raw file in photoshop is to go into photoshop,to File, then to browse in Bridge. Once you have opened up the Bridge window, you can maneuver to the folder where your raw file is located. Select the file by a single click, then go up to where it says file, and then down to "Open in Camera Raw." There you are

    where is camera raw ?

    • @SageandDandy
      @SageandDandy  7 лет назад

      If you open a JPEG image or similar, you won't get a camera raw panel when you open your image. You can still use it though if you open it in Photoshop manually. To open the camera raw filter go to "Filter" on the top drop down menu of Photoshop. Once you drop down the "Filter" menu you can click on "Camera Raw Filter" which is one of the options. Then you can use all the same settings in this video for your image. :)

      I couldn't find it in the filters drop down menu either (I'm pretty sure I have an older version of photoshop) but when you open the image just change the format to camera raw and that works as well
