“Like Clockwork” Such an apt title for Indigo. Can’t agree more. Also, the planes that you saw on Jaipur Airport were a part of the aero-show that happens every year. It was a great welcome indeed 😁 I live in Jaipur. Super excited for your Rambagh and Fairmont review 😉
Very nice content, thank you Kevin. Your honest reviews are inspiring me to watch this type of “hotel/airline” reviews. I never ever watched these before. You do it in a perfect way. “Indian roads have more sights than Disney world in December”- absolutely loved it 😁hope you had a good stay in India while I am having a good time in USA.
I always so much appreciate your background information, numbers and stats and they are mind boggling what Indigo Airlines are concerned 😵💫 So nice Pieter Elbers was mentioned, he seems to be doing a great job after having been unceremoniously dropped from the AF/KLM group. Thank you for the nice review! 🙏🏼💙
Actually Credit Goes to ADITYA GOSH for much of the Success of Indigo. He was the one to formulate and excute Indigo's Sell and Leaseback Strategy. Also maneuvering the Airline in Crucial periods when other players were suffering due to Financial Turbulence. He left Indigo and Founded AKASA AIR and seems to replicate the same there.....
That formation was especially arranged for you by Oberoi Jaipur. Despite your best efforts, they knew you were coming :p And yeah, In India, you can just put most active carrier as 6E for 99% of Indian airports. There are some airports like Jagdalpur servicable only by Alliance Air due to special govt. scheme Udaan to connect remote parts of India.
Their info gathering on me must have been so spectacularly preemptive becuase even I didn't know I was going to the Oberoi Jaipur (... I didn't 😂). Amarvilas coming in a few weeks though... Thanks for watching 🩴
The Al Fursan team of UAE at Jaipur earlier this year nice. They flew down to my city CCU and it was a sight to behold to see them takeoff especially since I live almost at the end of the main runway. They went to Malaysia for an airshow.
Great video! IndiGo is truly a reliable airline to fly with. Their food menu however needs to be improved a bit. I guess it has been the same for the last 10 years.
Kevin, your Udaipur series convinced me, and my wife, to do a long-pending Rajasthan trip during our next trip to India. 😊 And “pulling a U-ey” tells me that at some point in your life, you spent much time in that corner of the world where I live. 😂
I get a lot of Aussies commenting 'I didn't know Americans used that' and so was going to reply assuming you were also Aussie... but then I saw your handle 😂. So yes, much closer to your neck of the woods.
@@tfft It's completely alright, but I strongly recommend to try out more airlines/routes going to or from India. It is an undiscovered gem even in the aviation world. Mumbai Airport (BOM) is my personal favourite (regarding the international terminal T2)
Funnily enough, the really absurdly out of the way destinations (the ones with aerodromes, not airports), are usually serviced by SpiceJet, not Indigo.. though they usually cancel on you.
Safe to say I despise them all lol. I’ve used Uber and Ola and both are absolute crap for car consistency. For short hops or when hotel cars are exorbitant I’ll use Uber but the condition of some cars (mind you, I’ve only ever picked “Premium” the highest level…) is shocking. So, I tend to use hotel cars when prices aren’t crazy, taking into account how much not being frustrated is worth… for the 2nd half of this trip, I had a full time driver which was absolute heaven.
@@tfftactually Uber and Ola were used to be great in 2018-19 i mean Pre Covid. Now they are just looting both drivers and customers. I would suggest you to book Ola , Uber cancle the ride and make Bargain with Driver....most of the times the drivers themselves would offer to leave you for lower price but ask you to cancle the ride.
Kinda impossible to answer tbh. So many different types of destinations, resorts, etc. Almost like asking where to go first in Asia in general, depends on what you're looking for. Thanks for watching 🩴
When I did the EK 'game changer' F seat a few weeks ago I sooo wanted to wear them in a shot... but there was just too much to film and I totally forgot 😂
I think you should talk a bit more about IndiGo's marketing. It's a pretty good example of understated humour and quips. Starting with their IATA code. I think you know why they chose 6E 😉
Seems like youve covered north and south india . its time you do the western part (gujarat,) and the east! to claim the title of a true all india traveller😁
Kevin , you have travelled all over the world and reviewed hundreds of hotels, is there any chance you will travel to China aside from Hong Kong and Taipei ?
I'm getting this question more often these days (as I should). There are probably hundreds of hotels on my 'list' in China, but the two reasons I haven't planned anything there yet is: 1. They reopened (from Covid) very late in the game. I book trips beginning 12 months in advance and plan out even further. That kind of meant 2023 wasn't an option for China, perhaps 2024, but... 2. China has been VERY slow to get airline capacity at pre-Covid levels. I just posted in detail about this on my Patreon a couple weeks ago but in a nut shell, Aug 2023 they had 9 million international flight seats up for sale. Same month in 2019 they had over 18 million. These half way 'closed' borders are making airfares to/from/within China absurdly expensive. So, when those prices come back down to reasonable levels, I'll be there.
To be fair though, you are watching on RUclips, which also isn't allowed. So perhaps there's another way around this problem as well haha. Thanks for watching 🩴

Perhaps a bit dated, but still better for selection than the vast majority of short haul LCCs. Thanks for watching 🩴
Short and sweet for sure, but that face to face seating is def weird 😅.
Especially when the guy across from you was VERY CLEARLY told at check in that no one would be sitting across from 😂

They are the Al Fursan acrobatic team from the UAE. En route to Malaysia for an air show. Here for a fuel stop.
Good review. Bonus point for getting an in-flight meal in.

The rotation of those blades appears scary in the video, like for a sec, they are rotating are proper speed and then they just stop while taking off
The blades are not stopping they’re just matching the frame rate of the camera. In reality, it doesn’t look like that.
@@tfft Yes I know. It just appears like that and makes me wonder
