I’ve had 400 miles on my G87. Not yet through break in, but I LOVE IT! So glad to hear another BSM (black) owner say he considered satin PPF and decided he liked it glossy. Mine is getting out this week with full body STEK Dynoshield to let more of that metallic flake shine through. I’m also contemplating gold or bronze summer tire wheels. Tough to find a set I really like though.

I’ve concluded that I’m just a grumpy old man now. I look back with nostalgia for the cars of my youth and irrationally don’t like anything made today. There are vehicles I would buy today sure, but I’d much rather have a car from 10 or 20 or even 30 years ago. Is this what happens when you get old, is this why my parents didn’t like the cars that I now love?
Not sure it is. I’m 19, and I’d sooner buy many 5, 10 year old cars than brand new ones, especially Mercs. I just think the car industry peaked about 10 years ago.

I'm 62 and drive a built Evo 9, all my younger mates say I should buy an M2 until they try to keep up with me in the canyons 👍

Funny, I am the opposite...I didn't fully appreciate previous gen M2's and this one looks amazing to me. I'm considering one, because I love the motor and the styling.

Super sharp .. super versatile ! The drive in London showed daily use and ease of ownership. Out in the country, on the highway, it’s fantastic .. the two experiences compared really help the person looking to purchase .. this video really helps !
I like the way G87 looks especially in TR. Imo looks better than G80/82
I have a Toronto red M2 that is “ready for transport” at the factory. I am not sure when I will get it, ugh. I was wondering if anyone has put the M performance lowering springs on it to get the right tire to fender gap that it needs. I am worried about lowering it and then having BMW get bitchy on warranty items.
If it’s the M Performance HAS its covered by warranty. They can install it at the port or after delivery.
I do agree with how the lighter color on the newer BMW M2 looked eh, but when it was in full black out looked menacing.

Crazy cost for those seats though. I am trying to put in an order right now but am gladly saving like 7k on those seats.
@@bqproductions7448 you're are right, it's expensive. This is my first like this so I'm going all out, so the seats were a must. Besides, I would've gotten all the extras anyway so the package didn't bother me.

I love the F87 M2 and the G87 is growing on me but I’m just curious how the M240i of precious is an excellent daily driver but the M2 is not? So far most of the content I’ve seen on G87 is how to make it look reasonably appealing with body kits and parts. I realize the new M2 is a comfortable daily but you’ve said comfortable as it should be but I’m not sure M cars were ever really comfortable they always had harsher suspension and a raw appeal to them maybe as I get older I just want to go back to where cars were more analog. Hopefully the refresh will fix some of the styling of the G87 we’ll have to see but if I were to spend the money I think I would go for a gently used M2CS over the G87 just my .02

Interested to know with the present cost of insurance premiums how much Archie is paying for his M2 with all the mods he has fitted?!!
Mine goes in this Thursday for the 1200 mile break-in service. I have also owned a 2022 M4 Competition xDrive Convertible. The M2 is more fun to drive in my opinion than the M4. Don't get me wrong, I loved the M4, but I beginning to like the M2 better.

I wanted to get a F87 M2 Competition, but I came into the market too late. Now I have an order for a G87 M2 so I am happily playing the waiting game.
They still haven't figured out reliability, which is why I won't touch their products with a bargepole.
I would lease a G87 M2 in a heartbeat, but never finance/own.
Same with all German cars. Just own them within warranty.

I have had my G87 for 2 months now. Have come from M5 f90 comp. Must say love the M2 more than M5. Although the M5 had all the power the M2 is so much more fun.
You can tune your M2 to be as fast as thar M5.
Yeah I know but one of the issues with the m5 is it has so much power u can't use it. Apart from short bursts. If u want to keep your leicence

The M3 touring is not available in the states. Many Americans don’t appreciate estates .. it’s a shame. I’d love the M3 Touring ..
I think all the owners hate the Dodge truck front and cheap Ford Mustang display, feminine touches of stamping on the door vinyl, but like the performance.
Great video...Archie comes across so much better speaking off the cuff about cars rather than hyping up something on his own channel. Has to be a lesson there.
It’s the best looking car BMW makes, I think it’s beautiful. My only criticism is that it should have a body colored front lip. I pick up my next weekend

F87 is hard to beat. It was an instant classic. I want a G87, but the thing that worries me long term is that stupid screen inside. Ain't no way that it lasting 3-5 years. The G87 would be good for only a lease

There are good reasons the M2 isn't sold like Archie's, which admittedly looks brilliant, especially the front splitter. Archie's made a track weapon, but his spec is compromised for the road. The ride quality will be significantly compromised and the splitter is simply impractical on UK roads. You talked about how you ruined your previous gen. M2 for the road and simply made it a track weapon. When are you going to start listening to yourself and resist ruining a car purchased for the road for use on the road???!!! When you finally grow up, you will realise that when it comes to road cars, BMW and its multi-billion Euro developments know better than some guy from Watford, and any other individual from anywhere! That said; BMW is missing out on money by not offering a version setup for the track, like Archie's, and letting the aftermarket take the money.

I have an older 3-series saloon......it has the right mix of curves versus square'ish corners. True the driver doesn't see the outside too much, but when I come out my front door every day and set eyes on it, it needs to look great. Archie's car is more bearable, but BMW.....what were you thinking!

Those days are long gone mate. BMW like other car companies only care about profits and lowering their costs. Mexico allows BMW to manufacture and assembe much cheaper than before.
The front of the M2 looks awful, a mix of shapes which don't complement one another.
