You left out the lost important tip. How to successfully time and start your swing. The best approach Is to practice with a view with a player you're going to be using. The best hitting view for this is zoom. What you want to do is watch the player's timing leg kick. He'll lift his leg when the pitcher throws the ball, then a split second after it lands is when u swing. Or wait until the ball hits where the grass meets the dirt. This is very important on how to consistently get good or perfect swings.
Just started playing the game and using Strike Zone with the Starship PCI has been so much easier to hit the ball. This video has helped me hit better in RTTS!
Advice from an intermediate - hitting practice: get the pitcher with the fastest fastball on legend and turn all the difficulty sliders all the way up and practice high inside and then down and away. Timing is the most important and tracking the ball will come as you learn the pitches.

Hey Kyle I’m a World Series player and I have 1 miraculous 10-0 flawless run, but I notice myself missing pitches in the grey area around the edges so I’m going to find precision rings when I go to put them on I’m going to see which thickness you recommend before I start trying them
I just finished a franchise season using button timing hitting (no pci) but I’m at a point where I’m finding fast balls and low pitches frustrating because even if I time them well I just hit pop ups or ground outs . This especially happens with fastballs up in the zone. Will PCI zone hitting help with this? For example, if I was trying to hit a fastball up in the zone , and I moved the pci to the correct spot with good timing, would that give me a better chance than if I just used timing hitting?

I was having trouble reacting quick enough with strike zone high so I tried strike zone 3 and have noticed some improvement. I have been able to read strikes and balls much better.
One thing I struggle with the most is timing. Most of the time I’m too late or too early. I do occasionally get a Perfect or Good but that’s uncommon for me. If you could solely make a tips on how to work on timing that would be great. P.s this comment was made before I finished the video.

I'd say if you struggle with a certain pitch set the sliders to throw curveball like 30-40% of the time with a sinkers and fastballs. That's what I had to do with low circle changes

Swinging with circle actually isn’t bad in this game I only use it in 2 strike counts mainly especially if there’s a runner on 2nd or 3rd and I just want to get the guy in circle has given great results in deep perfect perfect fly balls that get the runner over or in

Can anybody tell me if it’s a computer generated game because every time I strike the ball I’m caught out occasionally I might get to 3rd base mostly on court out where is the other team of course or not? So I’m beginning to wonder whether the games are fixed.

If you put the batting difficulty to dynamic. It’ll increase the difficulty as you get better. Very useful. Same with pitching

The first thing I always do in MLB The Show is HR derby. A great and fun way to get used to every new title.
