What is the best way to detangle your hair? I recommend dry finger detangling hair. This is because it minimizes the risk of breakage, especially for curly hair, because curly hair can have so many tangles built up that if you just start ripping through your hair with a comb while it's wet, even if you have conditioner in it, it can cause a lot of damage to your hair. Hair is much more likely to snap and break off when it's wet. So while I do recommend dry finger detangling, that doesn't mean that you can't use other aids to detangle your hair, such as oils or butters. There's all manner of different oils you can use. If your hair is on the drier or coarser side, you can use something a little heavier like castor oil, coconut oil, or olive oil. But if you think your hair can't stand that much oil and it will be weighed down, then use something lighter like jojoba oil or argan oil.

This woman gets it. Your uniting the curly hair queendom
I had an argument on another RUclips videos, with girls with curly hair whom didn't believe in finger detangling.
But my point remains the same, hair is hair no matter the texture, therefore people witj straight hair will benefit from this method.
@@oceaneo4603 that's the point. A lot of us lost our hair culture and we are getting it back
THANK YOU FOR ALL THE WONDERFUL AMAZING INFORMATION YOU HAVE TOTALLY CHANGED MY LIFE !!!!! I NOW HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH MY OWN HAIR AGAIN !!!!! ❤🎉
This is what I have started doing and there is much less damage. I have curly, dry hair and I start at the bottom and work my way up to the scalp as I slowly detangle when it’s dry. I will then move on to using a comb once my fingers can move easily through my hair, again working from bottom up to the scalp. I also use coconut oil hair formula. I used to use a hair straightener regularly but it was so damaging, even with protective serum or spray. 😢 I now use it sparingly, only for special occasions. During the pandem!( I didn’t use it at all. 😅
I do the same !
Could wear an hairstyle I don't like for years to let my hair grow or to protect it.
I want them long and healthy !
Happy to see your video again. I do all that and very satisfied. 😊
If I don't immediately start finger detangling after putting conditioner in the shower my hair tangles up like hell and it becomes so difficult to get rid of them after they're dry and I will lose so much hair regardless of before or after it's dry but at least when it's wet it takes less time and effort. Once it's dry and if I let the tangles be especially big ones they take hours to get out
How about detangling before your shampoo ?
It will also depends on how you wash hair, for instance and you rub your scalp in circles or else, you will tangle them right up.
I've also seen some hair dresser doing clean section before the shampoo and secure it with loose twits.
I don't like loose twist.
I secure mine with a losse band I put in the middle of the ponies. It allow the water to go through easely.
Also, some hairstyles would tangle your hair up.
And also, some girls would get away at detangling their hair in the shower with a silky conditionner.
Personnally, I would never reach a certain lenght if I do that. I'd rather take my time, and keep the lenght I want.
Fingers more sensitive than a comb or brush 🎉
Fingers are directly connected to our brain. In a way, they are smart enough to stop when they feel tension and talk their ways through. 😂
😮❤ WOW!! Your so Beautiful ❤ and you look like a 20 yr old. 😊
Amen.
