There were 60 or so reapers after Axeman yesterday, and they are hungry for more! Overspawns is an issue, you need the gang to help!
It is funny how much overspawn they get, whilst when a friend and I was playing the map we had normal amounts of stuff
Overspawn is way more fun to witness! Dealing with it is torture but watching Syntac get chased by 100+ Reapers all dashing for his cheeks is the most entertaining thing ever! We don't get overspawns often on Console, so hopefully we can enable overspawns in ASA as well as prevent it. I wanna run away from 300+ bloodstalkers all chasing my bloodstalkers around the bog! That sounds terrifying!

It truly sounds like it's right out of a horror movie and that's exactly what I want from it, controller has a big where the roars happen constantly and reapers are unusable for most controller players sadly!

Anyone else notice that at 32:13 or so he k-modes and there's a SECOND Reaper sitting in side a rock staring him down? Cuz that one is slightly below him while the one that was chasing him was on the platform to the left part of the screen.

You’ll have to use carcharodontosaurus for clearing the reapers as they won’t go into rage mode like the giga when a vast amount of damage has been taken. They also have incredible healing and a rage buff.
You know that he knows all of this and I don’t think carchs are on this map

@@blackhawkstudios7665 It was just a suggestion, and if you have been watching syntac for awhile at some point he tends to forget things, this was just a reminder as the carchara is a relatively new dinosaur to ark and he may or may not know about their abilities, due to the fact it has been awhile since he has used one.
@@gotyamOn every map a giga can spawn, so can a Carcharodontosaurus. So none on Scorched Earth or Abberation but available on every other map to my knowledge!

I'm pretty sure the overspawn issues are being caused by the Better PVE mod, I'm playing on this map with all your mods except that one and I don't have that issue

Syntac i have a big brain move if there is a slight chance that rhynios spawn on this map you need to get one because they can pick a reaper queen up do thay
Ok 1. There are 8 tek loot crates in that area, enjoy that. 2. This may be a good opportunity to add the rhynio everywhere mod. You can pluck a reaper up with one and murdelate the ones you don't want. 3 most of the remaining secret areas for you are on the west coast leading underground and into the water, besides artifact caves of course. The more unlikely something looks to have a secret tunnel, the more likely it actually is on this map. Especially the tek aberration brachiosaurus area.
I'd love to see a grand expedition down into the reaper area with the boys and an army of creatures to take on all the reaper queens!
Rhynios can pick up wild reapers. Not sure if its possible to get them to spawn on this server but one possibility
with the rhynio everywhere mod it is
Go in with a Rhynio they can grab Queens take them to the top trap them and done ^^

btw since it's buildable area I think you can just spam building some traps or other stuff to help you tame the wanted reaper!

The only thing that i can think could help(besides the giga/carcha and/or rex army) is the brachi fear roar. That could help to place the trap and to kill the unwanted ones more easily. Kinda obvious, but keep in mind that using a light pet on top of a brachi is useless.

Since you can put down foundations, could you also put a ballista and turret? Do chain bolas effect reapers? If you could chain them, then use the turret on the low levels, then maybe use a few Dinosaur gates to file the good levels away?

You should build a trap to at least get 1 reaper stuck, then the if that one isn’t a good level you can focus on killing it. Rinse and repeat until you have a high level trapped. Lead rest away and focus on high level one. Use griffins!!

When Syntac mentioned that he was surprised that his carno didn't take radiation damage I was so confused cause I was thinking of megalos lol
you can use z seeds as grenades against reapers so maybe you could just stand on a cliff and lob some of those at them
You should get a rhynio to pick up the reaper you want and take it to a trap or something

The bottom barrier that is completely see through with out any coloration on it is walk through. the pink ones are one way. also i think this radiation zone is like the one on Fjordur.

Every video starting syntac get in trouble
Syntac about the Megalodon, Mosa, and Tuso overspawning it doesn't happen to me. I've just been out on two Xiphactinus to fight an army of Megs but the Ocean was empty....

Yes you guys need to do this together, it's gonna take all of you on Rexs to establish a base camp. That corner you were in is a great place to build a trap base big enough to catch a max level queen, just use a flyer to lure all the one's you don't want away from her. Oh and your wyvern didn't have a saddle so you took way more damage than you should have. Couple days ago Axe went down there and got murdered several times, the carnos are not gonna cut it. They have to have crazy HP because you were chomping for 1,200 a pop and they didn't go down easy. That's like giga HP. Don't forget to bring Stim with you and a healer pet because you are gonna need it. Also someone is breeding light pets, Axe i think.
They have like 20k minimum on my server and I don’t think I boosted it so yea

Whenever I went to steal rock Drake eggs and used a carnotaurus I was surprised that it didn't take radiation damage and it was just a normal one.
A odd silly idea but one can add Rhyino spawns to the map or get the mod simple spawners to add them to specific spot of one's chosing like the redwoods or something, then get a tame one and you can use them to carry the reaper you want from the horde! :P

I think the one water bug might have to do with the reusable grapple, I used it on caves in the Center and ALL the water on the map broke in a similar fashion (to clarify, specifically the caves, it doesn't do so using the grapple outside them). A relog fixes it, but if it's truly the grapple it'll just happen again anyhow. IDK if it's something Lethal or the map maker can really fix, or if they're even aware of the interaction.
Imagine if a blood moon happened when you were down there that would be terrifying.
Wouldn't affect anything, because the alpha reaper is a surface reaper KING, these are queens and don't have an alpha variant
I agree with Syntac that the jellyfish being able to sting the mosa is a really bad design choice.

Hey Syntax I don't know if you read the comments as well as I bet someone has said this already but you should use the Rhyniognatha to pick up the reaper if possible and bring it somewhere less overspawned

Im playing Fjorder currently and the water caves on that map do the same thing where you drop to the ground instead of float or swim.

Syntac, build the trap. Try to trap 1 or a few reapers in and if it’s the one you need kill the hoard and do it that way or lead hoard away and kill the ones in trap and rinse and repeat
Axe was trying to tame 1 too so maybe you and axe can do that together. That was is carno and bulldog that died
If I remember correctly the bulldog was Axe’s. He died down in the reaper area and couldn’t go back to get it. The carno I think may be his too but I could be wrong. I do remember one of his dying down there.
Also rhynios are on that map right? You can pick a reaper queen using it and drop it into a trap
Yo Syntac can you propose that Tek Saddles make Animals immune to Jelly and Eel stuns?
That way tek saddles would have an actual use, Mosas wouldnt be OP, but finally lategame useful. And Mosa breeding would finally be a thing.

I think for ASA the jelly fish could do a shock damage (like irl with some time of poison I think) but that any creture can escape them because it temporaly stops you, and depending on your creature size is what determines the duration and resistance against jelly fish, after the stun creatures get a ummunite for 5 seconds. A mosa should take damage but not get stun locked at all and megalodons could be stun for like 4 seconds.
