For future Giga tames, maybe use an imprinted Stego with a bunch of Veggie Cakes in its inventory? Surely you guys have a good Stego saddle laying around by this point. And then keep the Stego's HP around 21,000 to maximize the efficiency of the cakes relative to the bleed damage.

@@rtxbeast2932 That's quite the assumption of inferno's motivation, which you're not privy too. Inferno's suggestion is still taming the Paleo Giga the intended way. He just suggested an optimized way of doing so. Optimizing methodologies does not equate to not being fun.
For everyone who wants to tame this, any creature with good health and good saddle should be able to handle the damage, BUT you should also use wyvern milk in your creature so the bleed damage doesn't affect it (wyvern milk negates every form of bleed and fire damage)
This was actually unimaginably easy for me to tame with my Carcha. It literally only took like 50 stacks of bloodrage to fully negate all the damage the gigas were doing to me.
The new Giga does missing health damage, increasing with each percentage of health missing by the target Dino. That’s why the alpha carno increased by only 15 rather than 50 we saw at the brontos prior. Since the carno loses less percentages of his max health per bite
Using a strong creature with wyvern milk and fighting back will make taming it easier. When it’s enraged it can use its stomp attack, which (as of now) deals a lot more torpor when it hits you. Also when it’s enraged its food drops instantly, so try to keep it in that state
Use a stego with a good saddle, lesser antidote (you dont take bleeding damage), and veggie cakes (healing), even a tamed one might work with a good enough saddle, but if you just quickly imprint one it can also be good!
One good name I could think of is Zeb which is the name of the Jurassic World Dominion Giganotosaurus (was stated in a promotional event in London). Your Evo Giga also has a color and patterning similar to a Zebra which also why the Dominion Giga is called Zeb. This event also identified the JWD Giga as male like your Evo Giga (last bit doesn’t really matter).

Hey for a future recommendation! You can actually attack back!! And it makes it tired much more quickly. This is what i noticed when the trailer demonstrated how to tame one!
the crouch needs to have an ambush like "the isle" where after like 5 seconds of crouching you gain the ambush and run really fast for a bit, and maybe add it to all meat eaters as well
This brought up something I wish more predators in ark had: a crouch/stealth capability. Even big guys like rexes were hunters, and just imagine one waiting in a bush for you to walk by
Use wyvern milk. Makes the bleeding stop. Then use something with an ascendant saddle and a LOT of health, and boom... You got yourself a giga tamer. Edit: This is a cool taming method, and actually so easy too. You just have to have a good creature, and saddle, and access to wyvern milk. And all of those things are really easy to get later in game. I'd say that the hardest thing about this taming method, is actually obtaining a giga heart. XD

ppl freaking out over how cool the new gigas look and im just here thinking they look silly and utterly adorable idk if anyone noticed but this one doesn't display its teeth while the mouth is closed, makes it look much more like an animal instead of some horror movie monster
I tamed a lvl 100 today, too, but before that little girl I encoutered a lower level. I had a giga heart on me, and the low level went into it's taming 'rage' and took the giga heart. So be careful, around them! I went against mine 100 with a 58800 hp bronto, primitive saddle, no veggie cakes, and Sacrifice survived! :o
I hope you’ll do mutations on this thing and please don’t make it blue make it red and black and name it Doomsday And you can also fodder off the giga on other wild creatures to knock it out
If your gonna bring the paleo giga into boss arenas I recommend bringing 1-2 because you can only fit up to 2 and the fact that if you do enrage you won’t get kicked off your mount.

What I did was breed up a fuckton of rexes until I got one with a really really good health stat mutation. Around 47-49ish. Then is gave it the beefiest armor I could get, around ~80.5 armor rating, and I pumped every single level up point (until max level) into health. When they got low, which took a really long time, I swapped to some of the really good extra rexes that I didn’t consider to be the best, which pretty good saddled and mostly pumped health, and swapped between those as needed until it finally fell. I am going to try a mutated and perfectly bred indominus with a god-tier ascended saddle and only health level ups, and I will report back my findings.
I put this on raas' video, but if you fly above the giga as its trapped and in its "attack it" mode if you use a rare flower, all the creatures will go for you and not attack the giga, it will then hit them, knocking it out, but haven't tested as on xbox 😢

Tip to make taming these easier, feed the animal you are tanking the damage with wyvern milk. It prevents the bleed.

Tip- get a normal giga trap, a snow owl or any healing creature, and a tank rex. You can repeatedly heal the rex and get the giga knocked.

It gains torpor from hitting wild dinos too so run through lots of dinos, just make sure it doesn't pass out when it's agroed something.
I love unique taming methods that are fun. Modders are good at making them fun. Wildcard is good at making them a chore.
