The Caballus Series is a Syntacs Final Adventure in Ark Survival Evolved before making the switch over to ARK Survival Ascended later this year. In this series Syntac will tame, breed and mutate any creature he can get his hands on from the roster of mods such as Paleo ARK, ARK Additions and Animals of Atlas.

Syntac did you ever have the problem that you can join your friends but if you leave you cant join back me and my mates have had this problem for a few month and we really want to know how to fix it and we play with mods
I feel like the whole series has led up to this considering how often they would go into the ocean and see not only a million megalodons but also hydras and talk about how hard they are to tame
btw the white dmg number is not true dmg like in league right? cause it got reduced by syntac's rex sadddle
This Hydra at 100% has 1000 damage per bite. And they breeded are, while with roar buff, are extremely strong.

While I didn’t mind the arrow slits in the main tower the way they were before, this definitely looks better. Love the updates on the pillars.
23:20 I could be wrong, but maybe you lost effectiveness from a stray shotgun bullet? Its tail was occasionally poking out down to where the wyverns were. Regardless, that melee’s insane

The Hydra's are awesome. I would absolutely love to see you and the boys go into the ocean on a blood moon with an army of Hydra's as the last episode from this series. That would be amazing to see.
For a finale, or just a fun competition, you and the boys could build an army of a limited number of dino's (20 or something) and battle it out to the death to decide the victor. Obviously bleed and such wouldn't be allowed, but I think it'd be cool to see some super strong mutated dino's be put to use. Great video as always!

I feel like the claw attack is probably mainly for when it's in the water no? since it can't use its breath attacks underwater, and things have a knack for trying to swim inside your dinos *cough cough lookin at you blasted eels*
I honestly just love the fact that it can do all 5 of the wyvern breath attacks, that's so cool.

I have battled the hydra in Atlas many times and it was awesome seeing you take it down with Ark dino's and tame it.
Of course you have to get up on the hydra's back to feed it.

The Atlas mod should have all the new Atlas bosses. Giant crocodile etc. Maybe Syntac could actually play Atlas for a month.

I have a feeling it might be like the giga and get a shit load of a boost for imprint because it had 1m wild health and imprint adds 20% of that, which is 200000 health so it might have 215k health and probably a lot of damage

I was really hoping you would make cat walks going from the towers to the middle like where the top of your towers are going to the center tower with like a wrap around walk way or even going into the tower but still that's epic thank you for the amazing content

My boyfriend watches you religiously, I've started enjoying the videos too. My only thing is the moschops is amazing at getting chitin, especially with trilobites! Not sure if you'll see this, but just something I've discovered and has been helpful!
he's played the game for 17,000 hours and I'm pretty sure he's at a stage where he doesn't need chitin

Maybe the taming process has started when you shot it and thats why its not at 100% taming effectivness? Anyway I cant wait to see you go nuts with the mutations and what colors you choose for it.

For the arrow slits, I think it’d be an interesting idea if you sort of made a spiral stairway to the tower going along the slits, so they’re “functional” but also make more sense. Check out pictures of medieval towers for inspiration.

The arrow slit swirls on the central tower give it a really nice effect, great choice on that one! An ARK modded hydra could easily have a "Destroy each head" mechanic, the forest titan is basically the same. I wonder if a tanky bred stego would be immune to the dismount of the Hydra. The hydra may tame like the astrocetus, the taming effectiveness of kibble is basically prime meat to em so they lost a ton of levels even if you get a perfect KO.

if you have good water creatures, fighting the hydra in the water is the best choice. it can't use its breath attacks while in water.
also, since taming effectiveness goes down the more individual "bites" they do, splitting the kibble into different stacks will only make it worse.
Only thing i can think of to fill that gap would be a cabinet shoukd fill that gap nicely

Cool creature, i meet Hydra yesterday in the ocean while he fight 2 alpha Mosa. Luckily it's got stuck and can't do anything, i hop in with my favorite gator and get the crown easily

Ark Caballus is a beautiful map that should be in official game
Base looks nice the structrual and color palette although still has no practical use and kind of too much but looks great.
About that gap in the build: I've started mixing in pieces from the Arkitect Atlas mod because it has partial walls and ceilings. It also has steep roofs, yay.
A hydra base would be cool yk like on the platform saddle
