- Godzilla x Kong The New Empire is a 2024 monster movie directed by Adam Wingard. It has Gojira and the King of Skull Island take on the Scar King and Shimo in Hollow Earth in an insanely wild science fiction story that critics hate but people love. This is the Monsterverse done right and while Minus One was way better this campy film is super entertaining and I explain why in my review.

Godzilla SUPLEXING Kong had me going NUTS 😂😂😂
Was that not awesome
@@niuhooperparent awe man I knew they were going to trade a few blows but a whole FIGHT?! When Goji did that I was like no f-ing way! Lmao. Total Showa era vibes, my inner child couldn’t contain myself. What surprised me was kong KNOCKING OUT Goji for a little bit. I was like whaaaat? No way. Some due in the theater who was obviously a Kong fan went crazy as if like a get back from GvK lol
That was so good, and during the same fight where King Kong pocket-sands Big G.
That jeff hardy like swanton dive into the river was 💥
@@wellfelix7883 honestly, I think them making the MV more WWE is box office gold. They just need to add in some more attitude era in there and we’re solid. If they used the humans to hype up each monster and talk mad crap about the other that would be CRAZY. They only did VERY little of that in GvK.
Scar King was dripping with personality. The way he moved, fought, communicated, and most creepily...laughed.
Godzilla sleeping in the colosseum like a cat was cool
Wingard apparently based godzilla in this movie off his cat
And I'm sure Roman Colosseum beds be available for pets and it would sell.
Not entirely true just the rome scene was based off his cat and tegu lizards how they sleep curled up but no disrespect @@itsuki2877
I agree. I didn’t think it would work…but it does.
And cute 😍❤
Suko getting used as a melee weapon was hilarious
Would love to see Godzilla use Doug as a weapon in a future film🤣
The whole theater was laughing their asses off🤣
my expectations of Kong from the trailers: *Oh dear, oh dear, gorgeous..."
Reality when watching the film itself, Kong: *Oh, YOU FUKIN DONKEY!*
That was hilarious I busted out laughing.
Yo, I was done! 🤦🏾♂🤣🤣🤣🤣💀
Italian cop: "You can't sleep here. You have to move."
Godzilla: *Atomic snore*
😊😊😊
Le Quack: "American lizard . . bah . . "
it's like Snorlax lmao
Monsterverse is the best cinematic universe rn
Facts but the MCU isn’t much competition nowadays 😂
@sanjeevpatel2674 D&W is the last chance they have and maybe Daredevil BA 🤞🏻
Bruh there isn't any other cinematic universe 😂
Godzilla in this, is basically a big grumpy cat who just wants to take a nap. It's actually kinda adorable.
If I fits, I sits.
Basically, he's Garfield. Funny enough the new Garfield trailer was played before Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.
This is how I seen Heisei Goji sometimes, literally looks feline in facial expressions
@@GladDestrongerI mean Garfield is too relatable. I like naps & lasagna, but I hate Mondays.
Hears his bae call and goes roid up 😂
I worked on this movie last year, and glad to contribute around 50 VFX shots...
You did good my friend 👍
Talk your shit big dawg
You did a fantastic job uso
Well, I can say you helped make a very entertaining movie.
Fun career
Good news folks according to the director, Adam Wingard himself next film in MonsterVerse will centered around Godzilla if Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (2024) performs well commercially. Please support MonsterVerse. MonsterVerse literally saved Godzilla franchise from wipe out of existence back in 2014 through Godzilla (2014) which revive the interest regarding Godzilla among audiences and fans. MonsterVerse is the sole reason why Godzilla France is still continuing and Toho produced films like Shin Godzilla (2016) and Godzilla Minus One (2023) which won Oscar and make the franchise a Oscar winning franchise. So keep loving and supporting Godzilla franchise and MonsterVerse.
I been here since the rubber suit bra so I watched this from a kid a was addicted to the fights comic books
@@jay_deez Same here. Been watching since early 70s and its so funny listening to modern critics tear it apart. LOL
If this is true they better have better human characters and actually give us a proper story they can still have the fun aspects but I just want a more impact full Monsterverse movie that feels like Godzilla and not Marvel.
@@joelacosta9172 Adam Wingard literally said this in an interview with IGN.
@@niuhooperparent yea bra it's insane my complaints is I dead love this Godzilla but he doesn't get no screen time really but they massively focus on Kong like wtf
The part where Goji wakes up in Rome and then starts walking, only to roar at the nearby hovering helicopter to _"get lost"_ was so funny! 😅
Kong be telling his kong folks that he knocked godzilla out up in the surface..
Yeah... but if it wasn't for Mothra, he wouldn't have survived that one, lol😅
@@Diaszurana She sure has a way of calming the big guy. If not no more Kong LOL
He cheated, couldn't have done that without his fancy high tech brass knuckles
@@don.keebles Cheating or not, he did it. Knocking out Gman under ANY circumstances is "S" tier 😆
@@niuhooperparent she does
The Godzilla Suplex caught me off guard
Scar King had so much personality and I was legit nervous when he was on screen because of how vicious and creepy he was. Your Koba comparison was spot on, and I honestly wasn’t expecting that from a new Godzilla and Kong movie
Movies like this are why you go to the theater. It's been so long since I've had this much fun at the theater. And I could tell the rest of the audience was feeling it, too. I saw Frozen Empire the week before, and I hate to compare the two, but you could just feel the difference in not just the filmmaking but also the audience's reaction to it. There were a lot of empty seats for Frozen Empire; one guy was sleeping through the movie (snoring pretty loud, too), and when the movie was over, the walkout was pretty quiet. Then you got Godzilla x Kong. The seats were packed with a wide mix of audience (old, young, families, couples, children). Everyone was laughing and having a good time. I could hear children cheering Kong on and people excited to see Godzilla do his thing, and when the movie was over, everyone left with smiles, talking about which part was their favorite and who their favorite monsters were. The couple beside me had some pretty funny commentary, especially during some funny Kong scenes.
where? The audience in my theater seemed bored and several people got up and left, a couple small children liked it.
And of course everybody's already trying to compare It with Godzilla minus one these movies are two completely different animals one is supposed to be a thought-provoking post-war Japan and all that the other one is just popcorn entertainment.
Dude I agree. Godzilla and King Kong have enough history to be able to tell a variety of different types of stories with different themes and emotions. Did you know the director of Minus One saw a pre-screen of this movie and loved it? He stated that America is making great Godzilla films at the moment and recognized they are a throwback to the silly Godzilla movies that Japan is famous for. Love Minus One (and Shin Godzilla) and appreciate that Japan is taking Godzilla in a cool new direction but there is room for popcorn flicks like this too. Cheers!
To me this move was better than minus one Godzilla dosent lose to a plane and more Godzilla time and story was okay on top of crazy monster shit
I really wanna see minus one! Everyone's been saying it's soo good!! Plus it won the Oscar for best visuals so that has me intrigued as well
I honestly want to see Japan’s reaction to GxK
I wasn’t even entertain
I love that Jia is now one of Mothra's priestesses
Yeah, I didn't expect that. Pretty cool. I think Jia is the live action Godzilla series' first character with psychic/telepathic powers since Miki, so this is something they haven't played with in quite a while. Interesting that she has connections with both Kong and Mothra, now. Maybe she'll reach out to Godzilla and help mellow him out a little bit in the next movie. The poor guy obviously has issues right now.
She’s basically a descendant of the original priestesses, at least that’s my theory.
Yeah, she's a nice character too. Glad we don't hear any of those woke whackjobs bitching about representation on her. I'm not deaf but I truly hope the hearing-impaired community likes her. Gia is what they should look up to. My grandma even liked it... mostly the Mothra elements (not an issue/Mothra is Toho's most popular kaiju with women).
Aren't there supposed to be two of her?
She was great 😊
The monsterverse is the only cinematic universe aside from marvel that worked
I mean, you could argue that Godzilla did the whole cinematic universe thing first, as a lot of the Showa era movies all take place in the same timeline.
Truth Showa forever
@@Sea-Salt That was more of a continuous saga of Godzilla's story. In the Monsterverse, we have two different title characters making it up and crossing-over, that being Godzilla and Kong. Two is not a lot, of course, but it is certainly working. On top of that, WB has tried branching out in other mediums for the Monsterverse like an animated series for Kong and Godzilla's recent "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters," both of which are loved by fans.
@@hunterg.1300 Both Mothra and Rodan had their own solo movies before being introduced into the Godzilla franchise during the Showa Era.
Baragon had one, Varan had one, even Gorosaurus was one of the featured monsters in a Japanese-produced King Kong movie.
They all appeared in Destroy All Monsters. The Showa Era of Godzilla movies truly was the first cinematic universe.
@@airo2theknee846 You know what, fair point. I forgot how many of those guys who are considered Godzilla characters actually had their own solo movies before they crossed over.
This movie is insanely fun
I was so bored
@@georgedixon9863bro tryna be different
I think if we continue to get Minus One level Godzilla films from Toho and Showa era level films from Legendary, then I think we’re eating good as fans.
Kong beating the heck out of godzilla then dragging him by the tail was the best part of the movie
Yeah, you could just _hear_ Kong thinking "nope, we've got no time for your shit today" at that point.
I had so much fun watching this in the theater. The change in tone from the rest of the Monsterverse wasn't bad. It was like a different flavor of your favorite soda or candy. My one complaint is that the music wasn't really memorable. McCreary's score for KotM set the bar really high for me, and I hope that he comes back in future projects.
Mines is I wish we got longer fight scenes wit other titans
Would be Epic if they Brought back McCreary for a showcase monster like Gigan or Biolantte.
Depends on its tone though. Cause most action pack combat seem fitting here. Honestly, Bear's soundtrack truly bought tears of joy to G-fans and myself.
I think what a lot of critics don't understand about the monsterverse is it's just fun. And that's amazing, not every movie has to be the next citizen kane, it's ok to just be fun.
This was my first Monsterverse movie I saw in theatres and it was a blast. IMAX is the best!
Monsterverse Kong is one of my favorite movie characters! Kong is awesome!
I loved it ❤
It brought me back to the Showa and Heisei era of Godzilla.
Plus the part where Godzilla is sleeping in the roman colosseum, Adam Wingard in an interview said he took inspiration from watching his cat sleep and surprisingly when Wingard was talking Takashi Yamazaki in a talk together, Yamazaki said he also takes inspiration from watching his cat when making movies.
There are videos on YT about a cafe owner who adopted a bunch of cats and let them rule over his model train setups. And after watching those videos of cats and train dioramas, I realised that cats would make terrifying Kaiju. Humanity wouldn't survive.
I honestly hated most of GvsK,
But they really redeemed themselves in my eyes with this one. They split the drama evenly between the humans and Titans, they kept the cast small and all the humans were actually cooperating and making SMART choices.
Man, the visual storytelling told by just the Titan's body language- *chef's kiss*
The only thing I did NOT like was their constant use of that fish-eye blur lense (don't know what it's officially called), even for calm moment that weren't supposed to be disorienting- they made disorienting
I love the Monster Verse
I saw it last night with my daughter, and we both loved it. I can't tell you how many times the audience cheered and applauded during the movie.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! As a matter of fact, I recommend multiple viewings. If we keep watching thwm, they'll keep making them!
That’s swan dive off the Rock of Gibraltar lol
SUCH
A
FUN
MOVIE
We have at least another 5 years, 2 movies and another season of Monarch.
No one ever could have predicted this; where Godzilla, the campy Saturday monster now has a movieverse that is atop the box office. Mind blowing and satisfying.
So what you’re saying is
Godzilla and Kong are The Mega Powers (Hulk Hogan and Macho Man) so I guess that would mean that Mothra is Mrs. Elizabeth.
Having already seen it twice. It honestly gets better the second time. You really get a chance to soak in the subtle details and deeper implications of the characters, especially the titans. The non-verbal story telling is so good. You can practically hear dialogue that's not actually there.
The audience at my showing was so hype. Everyone was having a blast, the kids were absolutely loving it. One of the best monster movies ever, hands down.
It was a fun movie. I liked it way more than Godzilla vs Kong but dont like the wackiness theyre going into. Godzilla, Kong Skull Island, and Godzilla King of the Monsters was more serious.
Well I like the wacky stuff
@@assassin8636 fr I rated the movie s+ tier next to pacific rim 1
My expectations for the previous film was monkey punch lizard. This one had a monkey spank a monkey with a monkey.
5 stars
I love how Godzilla just wants to sleep bro😂 He’s just so pissed of all the time😂
It is dominating in all theatres in INDIA ( bangalore) parents and kids are bonding over this movie just like I did with my Dad when he got godzilla returns ( raids again),,,, and yeah king Kong lives
At the movie Kong and the little one made me think of god of war…”Eat, Boy”
Thank you! You get it! I grew up in the 60's & 70's watching Godzilla and other monster movies and that's EXACTLY what this movie reminded me of, Godzilla Showa era! All the "what the hellz", wrestling moves, comedic parts and the macguffins you could think of! I love this movie! Godzilla give NO effs in this movie! LOVED IT! 👏🏽👏🏽🔥🔥🔥
Shimo looks like she stepped off the set of an Ultraman show. It's great!
8/10 had a blast! Only negative is that Godzilla barely had screentime and is more of a Kong movie and I'm a Goji fan so that bothered me but still loved the movie overall.
This movie was EPIC.
I am so glad i am alive when i am.
WOOOOOOO
One of the funniest moments in the movie, was the ape that got up in Kong’s face, than got knocked out!
That right there was my favorite, i love the POV shot they did😂😂
The scene where all four monsters jump at each other was epic. Skar King and Shimu vs Kong and Godzilla
Shimo looks more like a Pokémon than anything
I'm so happy you like it! I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is such a fun movie. I do have a few complaints, but I genuinely enjoyed this movie a lot.
I think this movie deserves better
GxK was my modern Showa era dreams brought to life!
Such a fun monster fighting movie. Godzilla and Kong fighting Skar King, Shimo freezing him to death was a great touch because god knows how long Shimo was locked up and abused by him.
Lmao, there was a girl in my theater sitting a few seats to the right of me. And it was so hilarious because there was that scene where Godzilla was fighting tiamat and it starts to look a bit like he might lose but then you hear him charging up and then everything goes quiet and it cuts to the above water view of the ocean. And right as the sound cut out, she goes "Uh oh!"
LMAOOOOOOOO, most perfectly timed "Uh oh" I ever heard. Because right after that Godzilla's beam just starts shooting out of the ocean.
She didnt even say it super loud either, but because the soundtrack itself got so quiet, I think almost everyone in the auditorium heard her. Lmao, it was the perfect encapsulation of that moment.
"It was at that moment Tiamat knew... she fucked up."
I'm still laughing about it hours later. Same with that moment Kong picked up Suko and started swinging him around like like a ragdoll. I almost shit myself laughing. I dont remember the last time I saw a movie that was this genuinely fun.
Im glad you enjoyed it!
Im hoping to get this in my Blu Ray collection as well as Dune, Part 2.
Great movie 8.5 out of 10. Wanted 20 more minutes of fighting. Would like to see solo films of each of them
My only gripes is skar king and shimo were literally DOPE. But it took so long for them to come into screen, and tiamat was dirty. Besides those this movie had me on the edge of my seat and I loved it
Watching the movie, I have never felt this much like a kid since Godzilla King Of The Monsters. This was pretty much everything I was hoping for.
I just saw this today, and it was _so_ much fun! The fights were incredible and felt longer than they actually were (in the good way, like they didn't feel rushed), the new -kaiju- Titans had cool designs (RIP Tiamat, poor thing), they were able to put up some serious stakes without being too serious for fun, and we GOT MOTHRA BACK! I don't understand why the critics are being so hard on this one.
Godzilla slept in the colosseum like a real tegu lizard made me so proud to be a tegu dad
The cinematography is great. The writing is good. The epic Monsters Battles are great and awesome. It's a simple fact, you can't let critics' opinions affect your view on the movie. It's a monster movie. It's not supposed to be perfection, it's supposed to be a thrill ride, and that's exactly what this was 🔥
I mean let's be real, the dialogue was nothing more than exposition Vomit.
@@SuperRamos619 I didn't notice that really I enjoyed the movie overall ☺️
But it's your opinion everyone has there own choice and I respect that...
Wait is this that guy that covers Jurassic stuff???
Yes
I absolutely loved this movie! As you said, it knows exactly what it is and isn't trying to be anything else. Movies like this remind me of the reason a lot of people go to the cinema; To have fun and forget about reality for a couple of hours. Godzilla x Kong is just such a pure and super entertaining movie. LOVE IT!
I loved it. It was exactly what I wanted a showa level crazy movie brought into modern Cinema.
I adored it! People clapped in my screen as well. I was one of them!
This is what happened when you don't try studio's don't try to force woke messages and identify politics into movies and just give the audience simple entertaining movies. No need to overthink, no convoluted plot twist just giant monsters fighting with a complete disregard for property damage.
My favorite scene was when kong went to earth got some dentist work needed his tooth ripped out 😅
monke boy nunchaku was so bonkers i was sold immediately at that moment : D
Best Road to Wrestlemania EVER!!!!!
GxK is one of the most openly, earnestly exuberant and loving blockbuster spectacles in a long time. It isn't embarrassed to be what it is like so many other blockbusters today. No meta, ironic, detached, "stop and laugh" moments here. Just a heartfelt atomic bomb of colorful and vibrant monster mayhem.
It's made with a palpable love and affection for all things giant monsters and then some. This isn't just an old school kaiju film with a Hollywood sheen added to it. It's a plethora of influences all melded together to make one hell of a fun time.
This is old school tokusatu, it's anime, its Saturday morning cartoons, it's American action cinema of the 80s, its old school pulp adventure storytelling, etc. And its all rather seamless.
I do have to call out your "this film is a mess" statement though. It's a far more narratively focused and streamlined film than GvK was.
They keep the pacing of the plot lean and in constantly forward momentum. The duel journeys in the Hollow Earth between Kong and the Monarch team is really well executed. It's a tandem journey of discovery for both Kong and the humans. You mention Kong's power glove "coming out of nowhere" and, yeah, it kinda does. But it a) makes sense within this films universe and b) is set up to a degree with the Kong Dental Procedure we see early in the film.
There are definitely some narrative shortcuts made in the film, but those aren't necessarily indicative of a "mess." To me, a "mess" of a film is a film that can't reconcile tone, story, execution, and its various narrative elements into a cohesive experience. GxK is remarkably cohesive in tone, story, and execution.
And I don't think enough credit is being given to Adam Wingard for making what is often a dialogue-free, ultra-weird, monster movie. People can make fun about how "stupid" the movie is all they want. But any film that has this strong a creative grasp of its non-verbal protagonist is far, far from stupid.
All of the creatures here are so full of life and personality, even the ones with minor amounts of screentime. You never once don't understand their motivations or emotions.
The never-ending discourse about humans in these films is exhausting. But GxK does a smart thing by streamlining the humans to one small, core group. And they are all enjoyable. Yes, they're 90% exposition machines, but not one performance feels phoned in. They're an agreeable bunch to follow around. And the film even improves over GvK with the Bernie character, who was kinda unfunny and annoying in that film, but is far more likeable and fun in GxK.
I haven't had such an unconscious, joyous smile on my face in a blockbuster movie like this for some time.
I've seen it twice so far, and on peer entertainment value alone coupled with how confident it is making the monsters the real stars and characters, plus some GORGEOUS visuals - I can declare I believe this to be one of the best Godzilla AND Kong films ever made. It's wild to get two of some of the best Godzilla movies within a year of each other - and with opposite tones and goals.
We are truly feasting as Godzilla and kaiju fans.
That McDonalds comparison was hilarious. And I couldn’t help but think of those times snacking on those quarter pounders at 3am and how amazing that experience is 🤣🤣🤣
Hey man, I just discovered your channel and just saw GXK and thoroughly enjoyed it greatly(more than GVK personally). Also I love your shirt, hope you have a fantastic Easter.
I'm going to see it for a 3rd time this Monday! I LOVE this movie. It made me feel like the 5 year old me back in 92'
My wife and I got a chance to watch it today. I'm an old guy that have been watching Godzilla since the early 70s, so I laugh when critics talk about humans. Really! LOL. I watch Godzilla movies a few times a week. We absolutely loved this movie. The human story we have no issues with it at all. Again from the 70s. It did seem a little rushed especially when u get to the glove part. I say no more. In the age of 3 hour movies I would not have had any issues with that here because it would not have to be so rushed. This was more of a Kong story with Godzilla sprinkled all over until then end. The fights were epic. You only get a short time to take a breath. The theater roared in applause when it was over. Going to see it again.
I went to see this with My dad, Grandpa, and 2 family friends. We all loved it.
Leave it to Klayton to pick up my day. Thank you, brother. I really needed this
That zero gravity fight was insanely fun u can witness godzilla move fluidly just like swimming without water
What's crazy is the theatre clapped at the end when I saw it downtown Toronto. Cool that happened to u too
I watched the movie twice. The fights were great, but in terms of the story, they went too far, making it complicated. Personally, the only Monsterverse movie I like and watch very frequently is Godzilla 2014. It was a simple, old-school monster movie with a deep and dark storyline, and the build-up was fantastic.
Just watched on IMAX in argentina, cinema was full and people clapped. Really fun movie 👏👏👏
Great and fun review! New subscriber!
Hey thanks!
SPOILERS...
This was the dumbest and most fun Godzilla movie ever. It was so insanely dumb and stupid and I think that helped it a lot. Adam Wingard knew exactly what kind of movie he was making and I think this is exactly the kind of Godzilla we need from Western film makers while Toho goes back to their roots. I do miss the tone and atmosphere of the 2014 movie, but I loved the environmental storytelling with this movie. I noticed a lot of Easter eggs like the serpent attack on Kong being a shot for shot remake of his fight with the squid in skull island. Hearing Godzillas og roar for a couple of scenes was very cool as well and his new millennium inspired design is one of the best things in the movie. The lore with the hollow earth was convoluted, messy, and kinda jumbled with where we started but it also threw so much at the wall that I think any new film maker can make any genre of movie or show in the monsterverse. They've opened the door to a whole new era of the monsterverse.
Best movie of 2024 so far! It's everything a Godzilla fan wants and more. People who say this movie is no good - can kick rocks. $365,582,233 Worldwide box office on week 2!! Yeah, people are loving this!!
Pocket sand had me crying 😂
i really liked this movie too. this movie made me feels like a kid again that just enjoys watching insane kaiju brawls.
I think people forget these two characters have been in the serious tone and they have been in the strictly entertaining tone for decades. There's a reason why they have been around for almost 100 years. KK for 91 and GZ for 70. Two of the most versatile characters ever. This movie was great and the human cast was great.
Godzilla going to Egypt for a fight then going back to Italy is jokes 😂
Godzilla suplexing Kong was peak.
In my country,in theaters,we don't usually clap after an awesome movie. However, during when were watching Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire, people were laughing, cheering and also clapping.I was watching on my birthday and it was so much fun.Everybody loved Trapper and Bernie.Overall, there are no problems with the movie,i think its a sold 10/10.This movie is the best 2024 movie which inspired many people including me.
Hey!...We can use some "cheesy" cinema. This world is complicated enough..it's nice to relax and escape into this fantasy. Plus..another presentation of Mothra is always icing on the cake. She has always been a fan favorite. This was a FUN Magilla of a movie...I will be viewing this again. Nice review..my dud...glad to see some Love shown to a few of the cinema offerings...Kudos! Continue the good work....
I had a blast watching this. All the kaiju action anyone could reasonably ask for, and very creative.
I did have a problem with the sound design. In the scene where Kong roars and Godzilla roars in answer, the score drowned out both to a ridiculous degree. Let their roars shake the theater, not the horns and strings.
And I kind of wish there'd been a post-credit sequence of Dr. Andrews appearing on Bernie's podcast. Yes, unnecessary. But it would have been nice.
This movie is bonkers-bananas and I loved every minute of it. The version of Godzilla in these films is my absolute favorite take on the character, and Kong is so much fun to follow. I am so pumped for more MonsterVerse stuff! Let's hope they get Gamera in on this, that would be totally sweet.
Also, I just wanna say thank you so much for adding a message like this at the end of your videos, Klayton (at 14:03). I'm a guy who struggles with his faith, and simple messages like this (among a lot of other things I've experienced recently) have truly helped me in coming back to worship. God bless you, man! Love your content!
God bless you! His ways are not our ways but his grace is truly awesome! 👏
Kong vs Planet of the Bonobos fighting with knives and tools and featuring
Kenny Kong.
The next movie will probably feature Kenny Godzuki😂
Watching Kong beat the $h!y out of the other apes with a baby made me laugh so hard hahaha 🤣
Couldn’t agree more! I went to a morning show and it was packed with a wide range of ages and people. Dude it was like my son and I were in a rock concert. My cinema also clapped at the end. Seriously was a very fun film and cinema experience.
This film was peak cinema. What feels like hours and hours and hours of monsters doing their thing, exploring, fighting, the human characters being WAY more likeable than in KOTM and GVK, the tone may be a little weird at times but this was definitely a great movie. Also, may I ask what song you use as background music for the first 30 seconds or so?
I have never been to a movie where the entire audience gasped in awe at the same time. That scene where godzilla and kong fought together and kong rode godzilla everyone was like oooooo ahhhhh.
This movie was great. I thoroughly enjoy all of the Monsterverse entries. On a side note, you have Hollywood Hogan on your wall and are wearing an nWo hat. Immediate follow. Great video!
Loved your review 👍
Going to see it tonight 🦖🦍
This franchise just does the job for me. Great shirt btw brother!
Loving the shirt brother.
I do like that the movie starts with Godzilla doing a very Final Wars kind of thing and Kong is exploring the hollow earth while the humans do bits from every disney princess movie and 80's movie imaginable.
I really like the part where Kong and Godzilla sends Skar king flying towards each other like a soft ball. That was awesome!
That was my exact same experience. The people in the audience was cheering and everything for Kong and Godzilla. We need more movies like this.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
