Exotic Shards Leaked in Apex Legends

- Exotic shards are the new currency in Apex Legends, allowing players to obtain Apex artifacts and reactive weapon skins. These shards can be found in apex packs or purchased directly, though their cost and release date remain unknown.
A key use for exotic shards will be acquiring the Cobalt Katar, an Apex artifact, which is expected to have five additional variants in future seasons. Players can customize their heirloom by combining parts from these different variants.
Leaks from HyperMyst have revealed two upcoming Cobalt Katar variants: one with a purple and gold design, and another with a Wild West aesthetic. The codenames for the other variants are Celestial, Death, Hisoc, Steam, and Sketch.
Additionally, exotic shards will unlock reactive weapon skins, with the R99 from season 7 being the first to be reintroduced in season 21, as reported by Thordan Smash. This R99 skin is anticipated to have a purple and gold theme, similar to the Flatline skin from the previous season.

Trust me if you practice enough whith it and master the recoil u can easlly one clip enemies whith no mag if they have a grey sheild

Can we get some skins for a weapon that isn’t the r99 please? Respawn nerfs it into the ground and then expects us all to be hyped for whatever crazy new skin they come out with! 😂

So reactive skins are on the same tier as these new heirlooms so respawn is basically saying that a recolor of the r99 is worth 600 dollars rofl. When in reality they are worth 4.25 cents when you get 2 in a battle pass
It would take over a year (450 days) to be able to buy something in the exotic shop for free (10 per battle pass)
I swear I've been looking on how to get this reactive skin, now I get to have it.
40 bucks for a reactive gun skin is too much imo if it's a recolor you have it should be half or you should be able to use the useless legend tokens for it
