So wonderful. I'm a retired teacher, and I can truly say that I would definitely home school, if I were raising my children today. Such a great opportunity to speak into your children's lives with the values you believe in. God bless you, sweet family.
Wow! I miss those days. My oldest of four is now 42 and my baby is 30. We used the older editions of those same books. I still have them and cannot part with the memories!! Have fun and treasure every moment . . . thanks for your channel!
Homeschool mom of 3 grown children. Our children learned from the couch and recliner and the great outdoors! Many parents do school at home which is so different then homeschooling! We used Abeka as well. (Many years ago) 😊 Still loved watching as it brought back many great memories!
I home schooled for 15 years using Abeka materials. I was excited when I saw the missionary card project your son did. We have been missionaries for 41 years. One of the cards he worked on was friends of ours. Fun! I really enjoy your RUclips channel.
Love the binders!!!! Very organized!!!!! Great idea!!!! I think it is so nice that you are able to home school your babies! Your babies will know of God and his wonderful love! That is precious! You will not have to worry about anyone trying to influence their beliefs! You are such a blessing young lady! I know that your parents are so proud of you!!!! You have such a beautiful family and I enjoy your honest and Christian channel!
I used to work as a Secretary at a Christian School. And Andrea you get a A+ A+ A+ Love this! My niece also Homeschool’s! Way to go! I hope this inspires Mother’s that they can do this!
You are a great Mama. You speak so kind to your boys. It is awesome that you are homeschooling and teaching your children Christian values! I really like your channel and share things with my daughter from it. My daughter also homeschools so sent her this video.
Love this!!!! I was also a public school teacher until I had my first child. Homeschooling is so wonderful and my homeschool space doesn’t resemble a classroom at all! That’s the beauty of it!
My grandson did homeschooling last year and he did very well. With everything going on we pulled him out of the public school now and I will be home schooling him
In your cabinet in the kitchen, if you had pull out shelves installed - center & bottom, you would have more room & you would love them - you get a little less space on the sides but then you get a full shelf instead of the half shelf - I put them in every cabinet I could & it’s so nice - the reason you need both is that if you do the pull out only in the center, you can’t really get to things in the back of the bottom of the cabinet - just a thought - more storage is always great, IMO !
One day I saw that you have a book , The Voyage of Growing Up. An older lady, who was a friend of our family, gave me that book, when I was a young girl. I was told it was a health textbook. I enjoyed reading it, so much! It will be a great one for you to read aloud, when you want to include health lessons.
I am so proud of you, Andrea!! I absolutely loved homeschooling my daughters. It was such a precious time and my girls are thriving as godly women! Be encouraged!! 😊👏👏♥️
I am so grateful I came across this video. So many people share their home school room and it’s an entire classroom. I was feeling discouraged as we don’t have that kind of space. Thank you for sharing this! It makes me feel like I’m not doing the wrong thing by doing dining room homeschool. It’s what’s practical for us!! Thank you ❤
That was the most real video yet! lol. I loved it! The kids, your hair not being perfect (still beautiful), the school books all over the floor, the box-man (what a cutie), etc. Precious family moments. I so enjoy your videos and this was a nice reality check video in the midst of striving to make a home you love and sharing your spaces.
I think homeschooling is so awesome. I could never do it because I was a single parent and had to go to work. They are all grown up, married, and have great careers. I wish I could homeschool my grandkids but right now their parents are sending them to regular school. It’s fine. I did help them during the time they were doing on line school and that was fun. I especially like doing field trips with my kindergartener. So much fun. Good memories.
I used Abeka during my daughter's high school years! We used the videos so that she had teachers that actually remembered the subjects! LOL !!! Unlike me. We did love their curriculum !!
We use our dining table as well and I have my homeschool stuff in one basket and one small bin. I only have one kid but this is working better than what we did last year which was having a room that we rarely used. Simplicity works.
Very organized and nurturing environment. Your children are lucky to have you. I think you should post here what you feel in your heart. People will appreciate it.
This brought me down memory lane. I homeschooled for 20 years my seven children ( 5 boys and 2 girls ) i just joined the homeschool world again this year as we decided to HS my oldest daughter for her junior and senior year. My youngest daughter is going to a classical education christian school but we may decide to HS her next year. Enjoy the journey! my first 5 kids were boys and they have such a strong bond and relationship and I attribute it all to them being home together . Even at 53 I enjoy watching all your content. You remind me of a younger me ..lol your doing great momma! You wont regret all the time you spend with those precious boys !
Wow, Andrea, your students have the best teacher, not only the full curriculum but manners? Perfect! Food is the fuel needed for thinking and learning for the children! Being in the kitchen is the best location possible!

Very good system we used in the French school were I worked was to make them analyse every day 1sentence for grammar or Interpunktion rules by the knowledge they acquired already. After 12 years of school they are definitely fit with few work every day.
Never after having a baby could I be balancing what you are. You look great. I love the excitement over the books. I love that he is dirty from playing outside. I am happy to have a peak into homeschooling.
Love the video Andrea, this is my first year homeschooling my children. I have a K5 as well and a 9th grader, we homeschool in the dining room as well, since our breakfast nook is a little tighter in space. We have made it work so far, I also keep my son’s workbooks in a buffet table in our living room. God had been tugging at my heart to homeschool since a few years back and this year I finally went through with it. There were so many unknown to me and that what holding me back to do it, but I am immensely grateful to the Lord that He never leaves us and guides us to do best for our children. Thank you for sharing, at this time in life I find it important for parents to think about home schooling. Our kids need love and guidance at this point in this stressful life and there is so much going on with the school systems. I think they learn a lot more at home then sitting In class with masks. I got my fathers world this year I am hoping that my grandson who is in kindergarten really enjoys this curriculum.
I love this new style of video! Thanks for sharing your homeschool books and room. I homeschooled from my kitchen until my children went to college. As an encouragement- all were successful and enjoying their chosen professions.

We never started until after Labor Day, took every Friday off, took every government holiday off. Graduated 2. 1 just graduated college-full scholarship; other just finished coding academy and deciding what to do next.
Brings back such sweet memories! I homeschooled my oldest for two years and we used the kitchen table just like you are doing. I was busy with a newborn, as you are, but it was wonderful! When I put him back into public school because we moved into a good school district, his teacher was pleasantly surprised at how advanced he was. Enjoy your newborn. He and all of your boys are precious.
Thank you, Andrea! My son just started Kindergarten in public schools. We plan on moving him into a private religious school because we want him to learn about God, not just on Sunday's, everyday. I also want him to practice and study on the weekends so your tips has helped me plan how to organize and prepare for this.
Stephanie, I speak as a retired elementary school teacher. Don't overload your son with study on the weekends. Even God rested on the 7th day. I would love more homeschool content from you if you ever get the itch! Honestly, seeing how you homeschool with a newborn would be really interesting, as I’m in a similar position! ❤️
I only found your RUclips Channel a short time ago. You have such a calming voice and make things so very interesting to watch. Thank you so much for sharing your decorating ideas and family with us. Your home is beautiful and your children are precious. I was very excited to see you homeschool your children. I have two sons and we also homeschooled them with Abeka. It was a blessing to be able to experience that time with them, share the things that are most important in life and watch them grow into responsible young men. Many people said they will miss so much not going to public school and I am so glad they did. There is so much negative in the world. Thank you and may God bless your endeavors.
Hello Andrea, Home schooling is so great. Your son's are not divided amongst themselves and they learn how it feels to be raised all united, a homely environment. Caring for one another as it should be.
Andrea, you are so inspiring. I can see the enthusiasm with your boys for learning. Such a great age. Sure things can get kinda hectic at times but you are molding young, responsible, young boys for tomorrow. They are so cute and already for school. I am so glad you are home schooling. I think they will get a much better education. Public schools today, well...you know. Anyway, I think your wise. Your in my thoughts and prayers. God has given you some precious boys and it's obvious they love their Momma and each other. Thank you for sharing.

You are the best Momma!❤
You are such a terrific mother and so organized with their school work! You have to have alot of patience!
Thank you!
