Link to other notes in Evernote using note links

  • Note links allow you to link from one note to another note, making it easy to quickly jump between notes within Evernote. Some examples where this might be helpful:
    - You keep a running log of weekly meeting notes. You can create a "Meeting Notes" note, then link to the individual weekly meeting notes which are written in individual notes.
    - You are writing a novel. You can create a table of contents note that links to each chapter, or you can add a "Next Chapter" link at the end of each note which allows you to jump to the next note.
    - You are tracking multiple projects. You can create a project tracker note with links to individual project-specific notes, organized by their status (i.e. to-do, in progress, complete).
    You can choose whether you want the note link to display as a text link or a preview of the note contents, and you can set your default preference going forward by navigating the Notes section of the Settings menu.
