That facepalm moment at 4:30 LOL
😆
Thanks for the tips. I use links all the time. Probably my favorite feature of Evernote.
Same here. I'm always using them.
Thanks for the video! Very useful tips.
You're welcome!
Thanks for sharing!
My pleasure! 💚
Found you via the Vid you did with Evernote... and dipped into a few in this channel. you spoke obliquely of the 'Note Width' option 'of fit window' -v- 'optimise readability', you seem to imply you had spoken of it before or had made reference to some 'papers' that expand on the - RUclips might be the 2nd biggest search engine, but finding "readability" isn't one of their finest moments. : )))))
Is there a vid or what where you cover this in more detail? MTIA
I never talked about it in English, but I definitely plan to. Meanwhile, I suggest the article below. You can easily find it using Google.
Judging by the computer models they used on the tests, it's a pretty old article. But, in my option, this makes things quite interesting and more relevant. If you read it, you notice they talk about the old CRT monitor frames. We don't use those anymore, but that frame had an unknown feature. Help us focus on the text.
Anyway, this is the article title: “The importance of text width and white space for online documentation”
There are many others like this one. So, my question is: are you sure you want to go down the rabbit hole? 😆
PS.: Just kidding. It's an amazing rabbit hole. Have fun!
I think you can paste a weblink in a non Evernote document or page. An app link won't work there. Am I correct?
Good point! The App link always start with "evernote:///". The web link uses a friendly web address format.
Does evernote have a feature where you can turn a link into a picture?
I'm sorry, I didn't understand what you are want to do.
Hi, the only thing using app (internal)links as default is that you cannot open it on iOS (phone/tablet)if you got the app link in an email. That’s my experience in outlook on an iPhone… we use links often in our company in emails. Quite annoying, because you need to add 2 links then… or am I missing something?
Hi Maarten, I'm sorry, but I'm not sure if I understood the situation. Are you telling me you create a note in your Evernote and send it as a link to another person via email? If this is the case, why not share the note with that person? Another alternative is the Outlook integration.

The inability to link to a local document instead of having to embed it is a significant source of frustration.
I'm not that knowledgeable about how documents are linkable on operating systems, but I'd say Evernote is not to blame here. The linking system is there. If Windows or macOS had a way to link to a document, It would be a matter of simply adding the link. That said, I can see many implications. For example, what if you are using Evernote on a mobile device and need access to that linked document?
When I need to link documents, I do it using Google Drive. It's a guaranty I'll have access to that document, regardless of what Evernote client I'm using at the moment.
