335is ....I own 3.5 years cracked charge pipe and broken control arm bolt stuck in rear hub. Only issues I’ve had . Good thing for car max warranty the rear hub issue cost them about 6k! Keep up nice videos man .... oh dealer swapped to index 12 injectors as well no charge . Other than that pretty much it .

Here's what went out on my 2010 335i last year only: valve cover and oil filter housing gaskets, oxygen and fuel pressure sensors, water pump, starter, rear diff side seals, oil pan gasket (not fixed yet). That with some regular maintenance is around 8k in a reputable indie shop. I enjoy the car and plan to keep it and repair for a couple of more years, and I'm prepared to spend thousands of dollars for that. If you're a college kid the 335i is not for you, these cars are not getting any more reliable as they age :)

Dont get a N54 335i unless you are prepared to work on it yourself or have deep pockets! Keep up on maintenance and it wont let u down. Im no mechanic but ive done all the work on mine so far. Oil filter housing/ cooler gaskets. Valve cover. Replaced brake pads + discs. Spark plugs and coils. Intercooler. Charge pipe. Upper rad hose. All vacuum lines. Love the car to bits! I love my 335i. It really isn't the type of car one can own without maintenance. I have had very few problems with mine. I had to replace some sensors and I am using more coolant than I feel like should need to but having said that I have never driven anything more comfortable and sturdy on the curves. The car is quick, looks great, and is extremely fun to drive. It's worth the maintenance if you ask me. This guy is totally right about many of the things he mentioned. If your one of those people who never change the oil or get a tune up this car is not for you. Turbos will need servicing.
