It looks great. Congratulations for what you have achieved so far and thank you for sharing the details of what you have used for different parts. Really helpful to those of us who are on a similar journey. Makes me feel better that you have been working on it for 3 years. This hobby takes so much more time than you think it will :-)
Just starting my framing layout. Decided to just focus on the main portions of the cockpit that are the most interacted with during flight. So buying an MCDU and FCU, along with controls. After I build the sim and get this setup and running smoothly then I will build a reduced overhead panel, for the main items needed. After I will slowly work on comms and other less important panels. I dont do 3d modeling, or engraving, so Ive got someone local that will cut and engrave my panels from svg files that I am forwarding.
Very nice presentation of your cockpit, looks really good. I bought the same mip as you yesterday and on the hunt for pfd/nd screen. Can you confirm it's enough with 15.6" ?? Would be nice with another update of your sim. Thank's in advance
Hello Captain, I am very happy to see your simulator and I will follow your channel here. I would also like to add some information, CERTAINLY whoever resold you the flap changed the panel to this flat type, as all Flap panels from Prime Cockpits are shipped with the marker in a raised and curved shape, so whoever resold you kept the mechanism but changed the panel for a plan. Congratulations on the project, you already got my like and subscription!
I wonder what you really said when decribing the throttle system, I thought I heard "Trototec throttlebox", is that right? I need something like that myself. I admire your construcrion over all and the home made CDU, really great. I have made one myself with a 4:3 display but i think it's more correct with a 1:1 display😃
How do you get the EFB from flyby wire to work on the tablet? I popped out the screen and put it on an iPad w spacedesk but every time I touch it nothing happens, and if I use the mouse on it, I only get one click and then the cursor snaps back to the main MSFS screen. Would be so cool to use on the iPad but No touch is happening not sure if you have any tips. Thanks! Awesome work!!
Thx! :) sharing these here is not really possible I'm afraid. I've been thinking about putting everything into a blog for the community, but just haven't found the time to start this yet. If you're looking for measurements, there's the A320 project with detailed plans at simucockpit.fr, which was my inital starting point. From there I made only minor adjustments to fit to my idea, design, and panels.
Congratulations! Are you using the Fénix or Fly by Wire mod? If FBW mod how do you feel the EFB performs w the touch after being popped out? Do you use Space Desk to do that? Thanks!
I'm using the fbw mod, since I'm simulating a A320 neo. For efb popout I use Space Desk, and most of the times the response is ok, a bit sluggish (might also be connected to the android Tab, currently a Samsung A Tab A, so I could improve) and if using for a longer time there's lag. Also when switching views the popout sometimes resizes. So all in all it's ok, but I'm really looking forward to fbw further developing a real, indepentend efb mod.
Mega video !
Hi, i have a question, what software do you use for mapping ? it is JeeHell FMGS ? you have a really great cockpit, i hope i'll do a cockpit like this.
Thx! :) I'm using the freeware #mobiflight for mapping and configuring input/output communication between hardware and software. It works well with the #flybywire A32nx mod and there's a really great, helpful communtiy around it. As far as I know JeeHell is not ready for FS2020 yet. Otherwise this would probably be my choice
Thx! 😊 at some point during this year I will move the whole cockpit platform a bit further into the room, because I indeed want to add another 55" to achieve at least the side view to the left side. But that's about all that's possible with the limited space I have for it. Otherwise I'd definitely realize a 180° front view.
Paint the wood :) And I really like it. What was the cost? I really want to build one but I don’t know how and don’t have any parts or money lol PS: sorry if you answered these in the video, Id really like to watch it but I don’t have time :/
I never understood people who do this. I saw a video where someone had a full motion 1:1 scale of a 737 cockpit. It was to full spec and all his buttons and switches worked. I was watching it and knew that setup was easily 50k if not more. So why spend that kinda of money on a setup inset use it to get your actual license and fly the real thing…
I tried that earlier in my life and it didn't work out... I still might at least get my PPL, but this still wouldn't enable me to fly an A320 IRL. Through this project I come as close to it, as I can get. And in addition, by realizing it as mostly DIY I'm proud of it. 😊 Comparable to someone restoring an old car by hand, and also spending quite some money. Only because this person always dreamed of riding with this car into the sunset. Live your dreams 🙂
What a hidden gem. People with real impressive talent and awesome toys are not main stream

That's why I decided against a laser engraver and creating completely own panel fronts. Would take up even more time 😅
I'm mostly amazed by the tight space you have there and yet manage to cram everything inside 👍

We need an update. I have been building one very similar.
Congrats i do the same thing but your shell is wonderful 😮 Thanks for sharing
Thx! :) regarding the interior lining it's still at the very beginning.
Parabéns..já me inscrevi no canal..eu com um desses não precisaria mais sair de casa. Parabéns
Can't even imagine how much this would be
This is superb! Where can I buy those ribbon cables with plugs to the remote Max7219 display tubes? 🙂
ThrottleTek was on my list to purchase as one of the primary pieces to work around. Its a bummer to hear that it isnt what it should be inside

Is everything home made, or did you buy the panels, Ive been trying to find a radio panel and the printer for some time!
Hi! Amazing work. Could you share the plans for the structures? Cheers!

@@cmdrjk5109 Thanks! If the blog is possible in the future, please share. Following.
Klasse Projekt, gibt beide Daumen nach oben von mir :). Hast Du ein Update?
Nice work!
Amazing! How many Arduino boards in all are used so far at this stage of the video?

@@cmdrjk5109 i downloaded #flybywire A32nx and all the necessary in the launcher, thanks !
like to know how much is A320 sliding tray for pilot?
Hai sir... Where you buy for tiller?
Awesome! Are those push/pull grayhill encoders ?
Yes and I definitely can recommend them! :)
woow
great effort man! are u planing multi screens?
