At 7:21, your question to the Anglo-Indian lady was quite inappropriate.
She is an Indian citizen... but you are asking her as though she is a foreigner who has settled down in India!!

Anglo indians the backbone of english medium schools and i am proud product of the same. I studied my intial schooling from lkg to 4th standard in Christ king English convent run by Irish nuns. The teaching staff were angloindians. Disipline and spoken English was the best. Comming ftom a tamil speaking family and going to convent education where none spoke tamil excepting the tamil teacher it was fantastic learning. It is sad that Angloindians have migrated to other countries but i salute them for my strong foundation in English.

Anglo Indian schools were created to educate the Anglo Indian community. But since many of them left India and the remaining ones were not so much interested in education, somehow these schools had to run only on admitting non - Anglo Indians. So let's be clear these schools were not meant for other communities but they have to allow Hindus and other non Anglos -- because these schools will not survive otherwise.

      TOWARDS A PURE VEDIC SOCIETY
1.Let's throw away the western culture, language, ideas, knowledge etc., (Remember, Christianity is the basis for western culture and civilization) and everything that was brought in by the Missionaries. Let us follow our own Vedic culture and practice the principles and rituals taught in our scriptures. Following western culture, and their way of life will pollute/distort the positive vibes and the pure energy field created by our mantras , rituals etc., making our religious practices ineffective. Moreover, it will predispose us to accepting Christian values and encourage conversion. (Conversion is very high in westernised nations like China, South Korea, Taiwan etc., but nil in countries like North Korea, Laos, Cambodia etc. Even in India, our culture and religion are strong and vibrant in states like UP, MP, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha, where the western influence is minimal.) Even the anti-conversion laws and the hard work by our deshbakth Organizations won't be able to prevent this worrying trend.
      2. Make use of our own ancient wisdom, to make our nation great. Let us stop and reverse westernization and follow the Vedic life style. Our ancient wisdom is far superior to western knowledge and science. It has answers for all the problems plaguing the human race and has the power to make us strong, powerful and prosperous.
3.By harnessing the amazing powers of yantras, tantras, mantras, poojas, yagnas, tapas, sacrifice, rituals, yoga, astrology, vasthu, sathru samhar(for safety and security) and other ancient technologies, our ancestors were able to achieve unimaginable results and attain greater heights. Let's make use of these god-given technologies and follow the letter and spirit of our sacred knowledge to make our nation great. The Government should take immediate steps to teach this sacred knowledge to our school and college students.
      4. All the other scriptures were written by humans, but our Vedas, puranas and the other sacred literature were received as vibration, from the gods, through the tapas of our rishis. That is why the eternal,
unchanging principles contained therein are known as Sanadhan Dharma. Christians boast of the bible as the basis for the constitution and jurisprudence of the developed and many other nations. They credit it for their prosperity and all round development. Islamic nations like Pakistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan etc. have their constitution based on the Quran and even our neighbouring Srilanka has its constitution based upon buddist principles. We should strive to transform India into a Vedic society by following these timeless principles and basing our constitution and jurisprudence on it.
      5. To maintain purity and high levels of cosmic energy, follow our scriptures and avoid traveling overseas. Because the alien Vibes will pollute our energy field and drain away the cosmic energy accumulated through the poojas and rituals. (For this very reason, our saints like the sankaracharyas never travel abroad.) Avoid physical contact with foreigners as far as possible.
6.We should diligently observe the rituals, poojas, yagnas etc. and follow the socio-economic order mentioned in the scriptures, to make India a shining example for others.
      7. 'Vedam' means 'Knowledge for enlightenment, needed for attaining Moksha'.The Christians openly distribute their vedham and even the Muslims do the same. We should make our vedhas and religious literature freely available to the population, so that they could know the right path and receive the knowledge to attain Moksha. This will also put an end to conversions.
      8. The Puranas and Idhihasas are the glorious history of our nation. Let us teach it to the children in our schools and colleges, so that they are proud of their heritage. The character and life history of our gods like Shiva, Bhramma, Vishnu etc. should be taught to the children to inculcate moral, ethical values right from their childhood.
9.Our nation can prosper, only if the Brahmins are looked after well. Special efforts should be made by the governments, to ensure the Brahmins enjoy a respectable standard of living in the society. Brahmin advisors should be appointed in all Government, semi- government and other organisations/departments.
      10. The Christian Britishers outlawed many of our centuries old religious and social customs and practices under the guise of equality (of all communities), women's liberation, rule of law, democracy, universal education etc. But their intention was to spread their religion. We need to seriously think about this and see what we can do to bring back our lost glory.
      11. It is believed the Missionaries created the synthetic language Hindi to accomplish their nefarious designs. Hence, throw away Hindi and make Sanskrit the official language of Bharat.
      12. Let us make it a people's movement, under the leadership of the Deshbakths and saints, to get this message
across to all our country men.
Those who support my views please give a like 👍

Now it's in dilapidated condition. They had their own cricket team and we used to play against them regularly! Actor Andrea Jeremiah is from Arkonam. Her dad Jeremiah is a Senior Advocate in Madras High Court. Many of the families migrated to Australia. Anglio Indians are very friendly people!

"I recently came across this video about the Ango-Indians in Chennai and I have to say, it was really interesting to learn about their culture and way of life. It's amazing to see how they have preserved their unique identity and traditions over the years, despite facing challenges and discrimination. I was particularly impressed by their love for music and dance, and how they have incorporated it into their daily lives. It's also heartwarming to see how they have formed a close-knit community and support each other through thick and thin. This video was not only informative but also inspiring, and it's important to celebrate and appreciate the diversity of our country. Kudos to the filmmaker for shedding light on this lesser-known community and their livings in Chennai."

Anglo Indians should be protected. They have been given opportunities to settle in Canada, Australia, NewZealand, and other English speaking countries Most of them were teachers. There are Anglo Indian schools. Government of TamilNadu used to have Anglo Indian MLA appointed representative for Anglo Indians. As their number dwindled I do not know why Government has stopped appointing Anglo Indian MLA. Honorable Chief Minister Mr. Stalin sir please do something. They are mostly from Tamil origin.

In Railway in Madurai division last Anglo ,'Indian shunting driver was in 2012 . He was Lopez Glen Cedric who died in 2011 .After that , there is not a single Anglo-Indian in Railways in Madurai division .

Many anglo-indian students failed in tamil exams and during early 80's French language was introduced as 2nd language for the benefit of these AI students, many of my schoolmates are now mainly settled in Australia, all Nostalgia..

It is very sad that depletion of Anglo Indian population is on the increase. One reason is that many want to migrate foreign countries especially to Australia. To my knowledge, their concetration was in Royapuram and Perambur area and their population was sizeable and mostly employed in Railways. Attraction to European culture is one of the reasons for their migration.

    • @AnJe..

No! fear of persecution is the main reason. Indians ill-treat their fellow Christian followers as Ricebag converts and spies of Vatican. Imagine what Anglo-Indians fate would be if they had stayed in India. The only reason they are left alone is that their population is dwindled to a level that they are almost invisible to our eyes.
