Hi Barry. Agreed, I really like the filter. I was hoping to expand the pond over the next few months but the current apocalypse brought an end to that idea
Has about 10 large goldfish, pond is approximately 600litres., I have a UV filter Plumbed into the waterfall, it runs about 4 to 6 hours a day. The pond is perfectly clear. During summer I add barley straw liquid to help with the algae.
@@toddblack479- I have the oase biosmart 14000, similar to this one ofc. I like the whole design etc. How often do you change the uv light in the filter? Do you still use this?
@@scentsei8201 yep, its still going strong. mine didn't include a UV in the filter so i run a separate one. i replaced the bulb in it every 12-18 months but haven't done so for the last few years.
Todd you say your filter is noisy? Put 2 cinder blocks that are made of cement and make sure they are level, also make sure your return hose is strait over your pond. Hope this will stop the noise? I have a 3000 pump and everything is nice and quiet except when return water hits surface of pond. Need help let me know.
Sometime after I made that video I changed the return pipe from the filter to the pond and it decreased the noise dramatically. It's nice and quiet now. I'm keen to try your suggestion for the return pipe though as the new one i came up with is functional but is a bit of an eyesore
Wow looks clean still
I've just bought this filter, do you clean when the float comes up.
Nice! I think oase filters are really good. I have a Filtoclear 30000 wich also does very well.
Yeah I'm very happy with it :)
Great filter new subscriber Barry Manchester England 👍 👍 👍 👍

Lisa, could you please give more details about your setup, photos?? Thank you!
screenmatic 18000 is the water to go with the automatic screen. I will getting one soon for my 1000 gallon pond... :)
Not really a test, unless I've seen it on something more than 600ltrs
I never said it was a test, just my experience.
