      Pond looks pretty normal tho, it looks like that in the wild, not all lakes are crystal clear... I mean you definitely don't want too much ammonia but everything else looks fine. The fish are also not gasping for air which means that they're getting enough oxygen

      @@tristan6509 You are so wrong. The nitrate build is certainly NOT found in natural ponds that are present and certainly would have eventually killed those fish. Yes, the law protects them from unnecessary suffering but who is responsible in this case?

    Hey, just a quick word on that high pressure sponge cleaning: I am pretty sure that there is a lot of potentially harmful bacteria in such a biodegrading environment, and using that pressure cleaner, you likely carry those into your eyes and mouth and lungs. You should probably consider wearing at least some small layer of protection in your face, to prevent inhaling constant hits of E.coli.
    Enjoyed the cleaning a lot though, well done man!

    Hi Adam
    Just after abit of advice really
    Been away and the pump packed in. The bio media has been static for 2 weeks now. New pump arrived wondering what’s best to start back up before installing new pump. The air pumps have been still running and Bakki shower.

    Would like to see an update on this Koi pond if possible. 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

    Filter out the dirt then dy that green sludge out and it makes for great fish flakes! My fish go crazy for it.

    How are you not using gloves??

    • @minimushrom
      @minimushrom 3 года назад

      I guess our hands are naturally good at grabbing stuff and gloves just get in the way and insanely nasty.. I mean, it's not harmfull to not use them here, so why bother with smelly gloves in your car.

    buy a stubby wand for your pressure washer on amazon, youll be able to hold it further away also change to a wider tip on the washer to lower the pressure

    The pond is way too small for that many koi fish ! It should be 2 or 3 koi for that pond size.

    I wonder where he put the plastic caps of the filters. As I own the 60000 Screenmatic I know how helpful these caps are. I think the water pump is underpowered, the bypass setting (I guess it's at 10.000l/h) in the UV-C cleaner seem to be wrong, too. This is no more than 8.000l/h resulting in less effectiveness. Poor fishes!
