Cheers Mike, yeh too many fish in there I think...gets a bit wild when I feed them 😂😂. Maybe they'll calm down as the temps rise and I feed more regularly. If not ill have to move one or two on to prevent them from huting themselves. Take it easy buddy
Lovely looking pond and beautiful koi 🦈water is so clear 👌💯, superb clarity nice to see a DIY filter working so well just as good if not better than them Drum filters that they keep modifying 🤔🙄, never understand they pay all that for an All singing and dancing filter then mess with it 🙄😂, great channel 👍
Thanks for the comment bud. Yeh my barrel system works really well...super happy with water quality and test results. This may sound strange but I really enjoy cleaning it 😂 I feel if I had a drum filter I would miss that part of the hobby. Each to there own though and I think they have their place in the hobby. 👍👍👍💪💪💪😎😎
Wow - love your set-up. Great job and inspirational for DIY, would definitely make me think of doing a DIY filter set up next time. Thanks for the KK UV review - I'm in the market fior a replacement and I think your video has just ticked this one for me. Great work, great video! :-)
@@BrizzleKoi I bought the KK UV & installed today. Will wait to see my pea-soup water improve over the coming weeks. I have a KK multi bay filter (going strong for at least 10 years) so we'll see how they work together. ;-)
Congrats on mug of the week. I keep hoping Mike will draw mine being I swnt it from Canada. Your koi look awesome. My koi are just starting to feed after winter. Nice filter system I subscribed
Can't fault my moving bed...has worked really well over the last 12 months...interested to see if D.I.Y bakki shower I recently made has any noticeable effects this season. Happy ponding brother
@@BrizzleKoi yeah it should do the trick for you just perfectly mate. 👌🏼 Had better weeks to be honest mate, but we all get them…. 🤷🏼♂️ onwards and upwards 👍🏼
Hi Pete mate...I see you have been cracking on with yours..I have been watching. It was actually you who have me the idea to do a few review videos. I'm going to review my kk skimmer next. 👍 take it easy fella
Hi 👋 can I ask what pipe you used please and also a link of the item you used to connect the flexi pipe from the pump to the hard pipe please also what you used for the uv to please thinking of redoing your pipe work with hard pipe but it’s absolutely ridiculous price I’m looking at using the push fit but not sure if it’s what you used if you could get back to me that would be great
Floplast solvent weld waste pipe black 40mm x 3m from screwfix Then If you go on the eco filtration website and seach for.. 1.5″/43mm Solvent Weld 4 Stepped Hosetail (Black). This what I used to join the flixi to hard pipe 1.5″/43mm Demountable Coupling (40mm Domestic Waste Pipe). This is what I connect the hard pipe to the inlet and outlet of the uv. Hope that helps buddy. If you want me to send links you'll have to reach out via email..you'll find my email address in my channel bio. 💪💪👍👍
Latex pond0demo having Uv Surgery 😅 🃏ing …!! Good review tho for the Newbie’s 👍🏻 Also I only use a 40w Amalgam uv unit on my 7000ltr but only runs for 12 hrs daily “it works” 🤷🏻
Looking good Josh boi , uv doing a great job plenty of fish in there now mate
All the best Mike 👍🏼👍🏼
