I’m building a GTO hopefully soon I will upload again. But I use to have a 01 Z28 and man do I miss that car. Hopefully I’ll get one again soon and build my dream Ultra-Z I have always wanted. How does that cost if you install yourself? Average cost you don't have to say what you paid. I spoke a company and I believe you mailed your cluster and they installed the background.
I'd ballpark costs to be just over $200 for a custom gauge face, needles and a few LEDs.
For an off-the-shelf design, I believe it's slightly cheaper.

When you take off the gauge arms Is there a specific way to put them back on
What I did was turn the ignition on when the engine was cold, take a picture to use for reference, pop the needles off once the cluster is pulled, then install the cluster back into the car, turn the ignition on, then place the needles back into position with the ignition on. This guarantees they go back to the same spot.
What did u submit to them as ur custom design ?
I contacted Anthony and shared my ideas (color, gradient, size of fish design...etc). I also gave him the fish clipart that I found online and he took it from there.
