Gabriel is the most authentic travel youtuber. He is the only one I follow. I see a new video from him and click instantly.
Agreed, he inspired me to start my own channel over a year ago, started watching him during lockdown and recovering from prostate cancer.❤🇮🇪
Same here.Gabriel is awesome, we always look forward to his uploads. He brings so much joy to people watching his amazing travel videos..
@@zippyzipster6863 definitely 😀 would love to meet him some day and enjoy a beer or glass of wine and chat
Definitely he is an amazing traveller simple is best the real thing. Yes I feel he has remained so youthful through travel, and away from boring routine of stress city. I would love to continue like that as worked whole life and have zero, except memories of some travel.. the best thing. My memory is fading and lost many photos but have more now safely on memory cards...India was best you ll ever get. The only people who kept in touch are from there 3 girls and a guy ...❤
My #1 too. Reliably focused on the immediate experience without intrusion of too many opinions or the crassness I see elsewhere. 👍
Another beautiful video. Squatting toilets are best for health. I wish we have them in the west, spinchter valve opens in Squatting position to empty the bowels completely, sitting toilets could be the reason for colon cancers, and other colon related problems in the west. Our body is designed for squatting, there were no sitting toilets over 100s of thousands of years. What would be good is if you can have a toilet that converts from one form to another as needed and comes with a bidet. Japan has dozens of varieties of toilets, they are crazy about toilets.
Absolutely correct. The best we can do with a western-style toilet is to place our feet high-up on a stool while sitting on the toilet. It's better than nothing.
Gabriel is the only traveler I've seen, who has gone to the most interesting places, unknown to the general populace in our modern society. This is what a real traveler is.
Right on brother 😎👍🏻!
I also like to discover abandoned fortresses, bunkers or ruins when the imagination can be involved and one has the opportunity how people once lived, faught, loved each other.Footage from temporary life in the desert with caravans of camels, birds in the hut,, is very interesting !Many thanks!👍
I’ve enjoyed this series in India. It’s interesting the symbiotic relationship in the streets of people, animals and vehicles. It’s as if there is a comfortable relationship that is respected by all……….well except maybe for a rouge goat here or there. We have never been to India so your videos are probably our keyhole to that part of the world. Thanks for having us along for the ride.
It's one of the safest and most progressive countries to travel to. Good mobile networks, flights etc and many generally communication is not an issue.
I've never seen a red goat!

This reminds me of my childhood when in Jaipur right behind our house use to be big dunes . We would pack our dinner and have a picnic on full moon night.
Nicely done! Gabriel is looking good!! Good food and fresh air out of the cities! That life suits him..
this was one of the most scenic places you visited. Yes beer was missing
This was an amazing vlog! Wowwww so much attention to detail and the previous footage was nice!
I remember being shocked how rapidly the temperatures dropped after the sun went down in the desert there.
Nice to see you're keeping warm❤
Sunday morning, off to good start....Indian insight.....travels with Gabriel and breakfast cuppa.....

Gabriel, another outstanding video. Thank you!
it's so peaceful out there
I loved that hut you stayed in 10 years ago!!! Im also a taurus! Enjoying this amazing tour! Thanks Gabriel.
It looks like you are doing a similar trip to what I just did.. when you're in Jodhpur the Shri Mishrilal Hotel Lassi near to the clock tower is famous and awesome as are the Shahi Samosa also nearby to the clock tower.
Sounds good.
@stopped566 Sounds very interesting, but probably not on this trip.
I was just thinking how I would love for you to go to Jodhpur as I wasn’t able to get there on my trip to India, then you said you are going there! 😁
Bro I
Can’t believe it! You’ve been walking across the sand dunes for a while You finally made it Tatooine! Watch out for the Sand People and Jawas.. if you run across old Ben Kenobi tell him Luke Skywalker is looking for him
Struck by the amount of litter cluttering the streets when I first came to India a few years ago ( a shame considering the gem of its history, culture, architecture, people & so on) but surprising how the situation improved! Surely helps the quality of life, living standards & life expectancy of the well off population. A small step for man, a huge step for international recognition 😎
interesting to see all the crown flower bushes growing in the desert. We grow them here in Hawaii for flowers for Lei. They are also monarch butterfly hosts.
Loving this series! Feels like another world. Thanks for the adventure
The more you explore the more intriguing India gets , the diversity adds to the appeal of this land

Morrison Hotel and The Doors were part of the backdrop of my teen years in the 70s. Never really checked out An American Prayer, except hearing it from my sister’s room. Thanks for the suggestion. Totally into project bands, classical, opera, minimalist and ambient music these days - music that creates a vast amount of space.
Interesting hut from 2014. Still no fan, eh?
Jim Morrison An American Prayer all the way! I bought that album Cd version back in 93' when I was a college boy at Georgia Southern University. Awesome baby! Waiting1 Waiting! Waiting for the sun to come. This is the strangest life I've ever known.
Very cool, it's a good one.

15:56 It is not Jain Guru ...It depicts Shiva is in meditation pose. Shiva is revered as the first yogi or Adiyogi in the Shaivite tradition of Hinduism.
15:11 is also Shiva because In upper right hand, i see a damaru, a small hand drum that represents the rhythmic sound of creation.
In front of Shiva there was another image of a meditating man that appeared to be a Jain guru, but I could be wrong.

I've come across many grazing dispersed cattle in my hikes and have been chased by young bulls. It can be scary. I managed to shout at them to get them to retreat.
You must not disturb the cows and bulls. Are you in your senses?
Nice place to enjoy 😊👏
I've read about summer temperatures there being above 130 degrees Farenheit in the summer. I'm not sure how people work outside in such conditions, I would lose 4-5 L a day in sweat.
LOL i was literally thinking of that Jim Morrison quote the other day because i happened to be in a town where he grew up in FL. Never made the connection that Mcconahey (can’t spell) took that from him. That album was my jam back in the day. And i had a feeling you might be a fellow Taurus!
I went to Jaisrlmer but never saw as much as you! I loved it there though and would ho back in a heartbeat. Do you think can exist on 900 gbp a month please inc buses trains food hostels entrances to temples and sights by time 2025 rolls along? I saw a wonderful haveli went onihht to kind of desert tent and show spectacle, never went to a wedding as was dressed scruffy (mistake!) and fort amazing plus went on back of moped to start of desert and set of bollywood film ancient buildings. You m3ntioned astrology wrnt to desert to see stars but rained so couldnt lol!!! 😂😂😂

looks too hot and sunny and that too Gabriel is staying in village with little luxury. It is a difficult task but I dont know what his plans are unless he plans to go nearby places and stay put in a this cheaper place.
Nights are cold there.
A blessed Good day Sir Gabe Woww nice Beautiful Design old Structures Building There thank u so much for your wonderful walk around tour video in Rajasthan Village in India Stay Safe Godbless from the Philippines 🇵🇭🙏🙂♥️
I once ordered a 3-egg omelet (in Thailand, maybe) and received an omelet with three fried eggs on top.
Ha, similar situation.
That's so funny! Maybe funnier than Gabe's 3 entire omelets! 🤣
12:50 Could be an attendants booth or a Guardhouse.
Hi Gabriel. That's someplace you don't to be in the summer sort of like being in the Arizona, Nevada desert. I just don't why yout there not many structures around it's definitely peaceful from being in those busy cities. It's really a change of pace. It's definitely a place where can meditate and gather you thoughts.
Exactly. Summer must really be hell, especially without a fan.

Love your work Gab and Im so committed to treavellling to India soon for the first time but this place looks pretty challenging to me to be honest. Just not a lot that looks appealing
It's more about the relaxing vibe and peaceful atmosphere than anything in particular to see. I'll show more in the next video.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos Niel Island looks to me more relaxing. Never been there but looks very cool.
Here is the secret code:
If you ask for a double omelette, it will get you an omelette made with two eggs and triple omelette will get you an omelette made with three eggs.
If you say two-egg (Hyphen not pronounced) omelette it might get you the above or may get you two separate omelettes!🤣🤣🤣
I said "three egg omelet", but he heard "three egg omelets." Oh what a difference an 's' makes. At least I wasn't in Switzerland where they're probably 20 euros each.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos That is why say triple omelette😊

When the kids ask for "biscuits" they mean "biscuits"... they use the British term. ;-)
Exactly. But in the US a biscuit is very different, it isn't sweet. So they want something sweet, something that's closer to a cookie or a package of cookies.
Get a 4k camera. The dead horse guy's videos are so much more clearer and enjoyable just because of the 4K. your videos do not look good on modern TVs

11:24 - Horns not antlers😅
Gabe, why are you mostly revisiting places you already been to? Is it not more fun to explore new places in India?
When I come back to India I usually revisit some of the places I like and also go to new places. I've been to a bunch of new places on this trip: Tosh, Pulga, Kasol, Sissu and the Lahaul Valley, Amritsar and the Nubra Valley in Ladakh. And the places I'm returning to I hadn't seen in a decade, so it's nice to go back, make better videos and show my new subscribers some of the best places to see in India, that aren't very well known..
@@GabrielTravelerVideos Ok, keep on searching for the hidden gems of India"
Gotta watch out for those cow antlers.
Do you drink bottled water here or well water?
Always bottled water, I don't take my chances with the local water.

Gabriel in india our reserve Bank of India which is central bank who controls all banks in india has specified Rs 20,000 withdraw limit for per day ,and unfortunately Indian ATM only teller 10,000 per transaction so you need to insert ATM again and withdraw money for second time ,so you can withdraw 20000 rs maximum per day , unfortunately you can't use UPI payment system in india which is transfer of money digitally as you don't have any bank account in india otherwise you don't to carry large amount of cash with you
I think he should seriously think of opening an NRO account in India. With almost 100% digitization, in India, very few use cash. Even small vendors accept UPI. He might be getting charged for using ATM. Once he establishes, he just have to transFer online only required funds to his bank account . If ununsed, he can withdraw in USD.
This will also help book train tickets etc.
Surely he can use wallets 🤔
😁👍
Room wth a zoo!
What country are you going to next
Hopefully he'll get out of India and visit beautiful Pakistan

Advancement of math in India is due to astrology, they needed advance math to figure positions of planets. Near you an astronomical clock built in 1700s huge buildings, a sun dial that figures time of the day, its pretty accurate.

Hi Gabriel enjoying your vlogs. Ive been to India twice and Im wondering why the places seem to be devoid of tourists.
I've been wondering the same thing, not really sure other than these are lesser known places I've been going to on this trip. Maybe they're all in Rishikesh, Agra and Goa.
? Do not see any peacocks?
you are worried about cow being aggressive or not. I live in West Bengal which is one of the most densely populated place on earth not only for human but also cows. I have never seen cow getting aggresive with human. but I have seen dogs getting very aggressive. last year a street dog brutally attacked my father and bited. there are many reports of dogs killing little children all over India.
Dogs can sense evil people... Just saying
@@ZenPB do you think little children who are getting killed by dogs are evil?
I was attacked by a cow in Pushkar!
With horns!
Yes, interacting with street dogs is very risky. Cows are okay, dogs can be really bad specially when in a group. Best to stay away from street dogs.
