Lovely there Andy and Claire you got better weather than we did in March, although it was probably the best weekend we had for the month we were over. We had the Angel Fisheries instead of the Magpie and we still would love another 3 days right where you are there. Maybe in another year or so.. have a great day from Edmonton Canada 🇨🇦 ❤ PS Love Katie Melua
Hi Andy. Claire. I’m watching this from the back of nowhere on Northern Queensland via a STARLINK in a van. You’re certainly entertaining me tonight I actually did a LOL!. We had a right furore here with the name of a chip shop, called The Battered Wife! No idea what the fuss was about 😂😂. Also, I’ve never heard of Steam Punks. I’m originally from sunny Birmingham, ever been there in your van? 😂 Anyway, good work.
Hi. Wow Northern Queensland!!! How on earth did you find us and our channel 👍🤣 We will go to Birmingham to make a video one day 🤣🤣👍 Thanks for watching 👍
Oggy , oggy oggy 🤣🤣Not heard that for a good many years, large lol.🤣It's said that an oggy is a Welsh pastie & miners wives would shout oggy, oggy, oggy down to their husbands & they would shout back, oi, oi, oi to acknowledge their dinner had arrived. We have so enjoyed your Whitby mini series, can't wait for your next adventure, wherever that may be, thank you for sharing.♥
@@junehall2177 I like the story of the Welsh pastie, it be true or not, I like it. When I hear oggy oggy oggy, it just brings back fond memories of the legend himself, Max Boyce! And I can’t help saying the phrase”I thought it was a fair! An I didn’t want to go! In my lame Welsh accent of course… From one of his many great stories.. Ithankukindly for the return of a memory.👍
We are from Scotland and have been visiting some of the sites in Yorkshire. We can recommend you try Southfield Touring and Caravan Park near Hornsea. They do Madri on draft. Go on, you will both love it. From Al & Matt
Great final instalment of Whitby, what was the name of the site? We might go there in the near future. We have been to York 3 times, 3 different sites. York is lovely, little narrow streets, York minster and more and our recent trip just a few weeks ago, weather good, a lot of singers in the streets, looked like students performing various skills from classical to modern, great talent, probably attending the university and just supplementing there need to by food (beans and toast, eggs on toast etc). Sure you and Claire will love it. Look for to next adventure, always a shame you can only spend your weekends because of your work, wait til your retire, world will be your oyster. Get a motorbike with sidecar for Claire and the dogs, wee helmets will look cute and biker jackets of course🏍🛵
Great video as always. Magpie cafe, been and nice food very expensive, overrated and not worth queuing. Angel Fisheries, down side of Weatherspoons, limited seating but takeaway brilliant fish and chips, at a reasonable price. Bothams bakery that was closed, best famous bakery and pork pies to die for. They have two shops in Whitby. Granby Hotel that you passed, wonderful pub off the beaten track, food there fantastic including their fish and chips. Go to Whitby as often as we can, best place on Yorkshire coast.
Hi. Agreed Whitby is fabulous 👍❤️ Quite a few people are saying the Magpie isn’t worth the queue! Thanks for watching, we will be returning, maybe for Goth weekend to go to the places we missed Have a great evening
I know Trenchers will get a lot of votes but for me, you just cannot beat The Magpie all day every day and twice on Sundays is the best hence those lines of folk awaiting a seat though to be fair they are all good a jewel in Yorkshires go visit we have loved Whitby since we were kids loving the videos we are playing catchup at the moment and binge watching if it had been us there i know we would be extending our stay no brainer lol take care guys and thank you for sharing sending a wave from Bradford
Hi You two. Thanks for that it bought back some wonderful memories of Whitby. (My Newfoundland dog wouldn't cross the swing bridge. Flat refused. I had to leave her with 2 strangers who kindly waited with her till I could fetch the car to her.) I have a suggestion! When you take us to these places all round the country, ( you won't like this)...... Ditch the crap beer that you are drinking! ( Told you) Try some of the local real ales, honestly, trust Keith! Try it. As the Hobgoblin advert says, " what's the matter lager boy, afraid you might taste something" I know you won't do it, there's a challenge! You can thank me later! Keith.👍xx
Hi Keith, Crikey I guess you can’t pick up a Newfoundland either 🤣🤣 Andy had a Cider once in Cleethorpes, does that count? 🤣 We will take a look, we did go through a phase of nice ales so we have done it before. Watch this space ☀️👍 Thank you for watching
@@Stchristopherofatlantis Cider doesn't count! Just ask what real ales they've got and ask them what they sell most of. Thanks, I'll have a pint of that please! I'll be watching! I'll even get it for you! Keep the receipt! 👍
Great video we love whitby we never want to come home didn't rate magpie looking forward to next venture you too are so funny but find places we never see
Fishermans Wife was always my favourite fish and chips in Whitby. Magpie to me was always a reptuation, almost a landmark, if you went to Whitby its almost expected to visit Magpie, very mediocre in my opinion.
Magpie is overrated. Try Trenchers. I thought you were going to go up the street where my Dad once lived but you changed direction! We last went to Whitby in June and had lovely weather. When we arrived the swing bridge had broken and was stuck open so we couldn’t cross for a few hours. PS Claire is always smiling which is lovely and also surprising considering Andrew’s jokes! 😜
Nice vid you two, we’ve been to that site a couple of times, really nice 👍 Like the pontoon joke Andrew. 20 quid for a burger on a pavement where everyone walks past coughing on you and knocking your pot of chips off! Andrew, you need a motorbike, I’ve got the perfect one for sale for 6 footers like us, Honda Africa twin adventure sports, the big one, absolutely mint! All the best from Steve, the Chap lad over the hill 👍

❤️👍❤️ Have a great weekend guys 🍻🍺🍻🍺
You too!!
Looks really nice 👌 def going one day ❤
Yes yes you must 👍👍👍🚐
Oggy , oggy oggy 🤣🤣Not heard that for a good many years, large lol.🤣It's said that an oggy is a Welsh pastie & miners wives would shout oggy, oggy, oggy down to their husbands & they would shout back, oi, oi, oi to acknowledge their dinner had arrived.
We have so enjoyed your Whitby mini series, can't wait for your next adventure, wherever that may be, thank you for sharing.♥
Oi oi oi
Glad you enjoyed and that you follow us
Have a super weekend xx
Hi Al and Matt,
Madri on draft 🍻 we’re on our way
We love recommendations, thank you
We love Scotland and plan to head back again….
Your stopping on our old seasonal pitch 👍🏻
Loved it 🚐👍
Love this song
🥰
Hi there. Whitby Holiday Park. Fab views, clean amenities, 20 minute cliff top walk to Abbey. Would recommend
York incoming…. Keep watching 👍👍☀️
Stay out , the weather will start to change so enjoy ! 👏🏻😊
That is very true, and darker nights!
enjoyed another good one, will go there
Yay yay!! Have a happy Friday
@@Stchristopherofatlantis and you 2
look at you two drinking proper lagers!
😂😂😂😂👍
Had to like it so Claire can do the crows nest lol good luck with that one 👀
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
We like our chips from Robertsons and then take them to the little beach to eat them. You should try the Goth weekend it’s great.
Hi 👋 Yea we will investigate going to the goth weekend, we would love it 👍
Great video as always.
Hi. Agreed Whitby is fabulous 👍❤️
Quite a few people are saying the Magpie isn’t worth the queue!
Thanks for watching, we will be returning, maybe for Goth weekend to go to the places we missed
Have a great evening
Sometimes you need more than a like, ❤ Keep it up guys. 👍🏻
Back at ya ❤️
drink ales instead of lager more choice more flavour lol just jkg with you great vog
We do love ales 🍻🍻
I know Trenchers will get a lot of votes but for me, you just cannot beat The Magpie all day every day and twice on Sundays is the best hence those lines of folk awaiting a seat though to be fair they are all good a jewel in Yorkshires go visit we have loved Whitby since we were kids loving the videos we are playing catchup at the moment and binge watching if it had been us there i know we would be extending our stay no brainer lol take care guys and thank you for sharing
sending a wave from Bradford
Hi. When we return we shall have to try the Magpie 👍👍
Thanks for watching, we love to hear you like to watch, it must be our interesting facts 🤣🤣
Whitby is absolutely stunning place x
We agree, it’s lush 👍❤️
Hi You two.
Thanks for that it bought back some wonderful memories of Whitby.
(My Newfoundland dog wouldn't cross the swing bridge. Flat refused.
I had to leave her with 2 strangers who kindly waited with her till I could fetch the car to her.)
I have a suggestion!
When you take us to these places all round the country, ( you won't like this)......
Ditch the crap beer that you are drinking! ( Told you)
Try some of the local real ales, honestly, trust Keith!
Try it.
As the Hobgoblin advert says, " what's the matter lager boy, afraid you might taste something"
I know you won't do it, there's a challenge!
You can thank me later!
Keith.👍xx
Hi Keith,
Crikey I guess you can’t pick up a Newfoundland either 🤣🤣
Andy had a Cider once in Cleethorpes, does that count? 🤣
We will take a look, we did go through a phase of nice ales so we have done it before. Watch this space ☀️👍
Thank you for watching
@@Stchristopherofatlantis Cider doesn't count!
Just ask what real ales they've got and ask them what they sell most of.
Thanks, I'll have a pint of that please!
I'll be watching!
I'll even get it for you!
Keep the receipt!
👍
🍻🍻🤣🤣
Go to Scarborough, seemed like less of a London outpost.
Scarborough is on our list. Thanks for watching
wish you had gone into the lobster hatchery,i love seeing baby loblets

Lovely video beautiful music
Did you play the guitar and Clare singing?
Hi. Claire here and my voice is a terrible!
This is a band called Houses on the hill and the song is called world goes by!
Great video we love whitby we never want to come home didn't rate magpie looking forward to next venture you too are so funny but find places we never see
Keep laughing 😆 Keep watching 👍
Thank you x

On August bank holiday weekend in Scarborough hundreds of mods gather on their scooters
Think we will head to a mods weekend 👍
Goth weekend is around Samhain
@pamelaadam9207 👍
Love Whitby only a hour from Hartlepool we were there the week after for the day . Can I ask what video editing are you using ? I have a GoPro 12 .
We use Da Vinci Resolve. Andy loves it 👍👍
Fishermans Wife was always my favourite fish and chips in Whitby. Magpie to me was always a reptuation, almost a landmark, if you went to Whitby its almost expected to visit Magpie, very mediocre in my opinion.
Hi. Thanks for watching. Many people have said the same
Magpie is overrated. 😜
Smiling is the best 😊😊😊 Thank you for watching. Your Dad was very lucky to live in Whitby ❤️
Nice vid you two, we’ve been to that site a couple of times, really nice 👍
Like the pontoon joke Andrew.
Hi Steve there over the hill…. Don’t encourage him 🤣🤣 🏍️
