- We initially started the £10 challenge but with little success we headed to Humber Pastime where we had wins and fun. Watch on to see what enjoyment you can have at amusement arcades in Cleethorpes.
Cleethorpes is a seaside town on the estuary of the Humber in North East Lincolnshire, England with a population of 38,372 in 2020. It has been permanently occupied since the 6th century, with fishing as its original industry, then developing into a resort in the 19th century. Before becoming a unified town, Cleethorpes was made up of the three small villages of Itterby, Oole and Thrunscoe.
In 2021, The Trainline named Cleethorpes beach the second best seaside destination in the UK that is reachable by train, just behind Margate.

I live in Cleethorpes and spend many hours in this arcade. Its so nice to play the older 2p machines as I find they are a bit more generous. Great video.
We used to like The Mint but they have replaced their best machine, one of the older ones. Humber Pastimes isn't open during the winter we don't think; it's the first time we have been to that one and loved it! :)

In my local arcade in Deal Kent, we now have to pay for the plastic pots. 20p each. Is the same country wide?
We noticed that, seemed to be a thing in that part of the country (not sure if some are owned by the same people). They also didn't let us film there either, other places in the area had rules around it but we're allowed to film in the end, strange place!
