Fantastic vlog, thank you! We visited Llandudno about 13 years ago and rode the trains to the summit of the Great Orme. I’m so pleased that it is still as wonderful as back then, and it was cloudy up top as you experienced, but a gorgeous sunshiny day walking along the front and exploring the town. Happy memories. I have been to Llandudno three times each time the weather was 23 degrees full sun and hardly any wind I have stopped at the new Loretta and the Chatsworth had a brilliant time and there is a beach on the other side , not the pierside though .....

The view from the top of the Great Orme is pretty spectacular when the skies are clear, better luck next time. So many great locations near there, far too many to mention. Just drive and explore them all. As always, it's a like from me.

For next time... a bit further down that road is the Ormo Lounge. Great place to eat and chill. They also allow dogs and it's done up with a victorian vibe. Staff are great and you can order via an app without even getting up 😁... oh, you found it!

Great vlog. We’ve been to Llandudno dozens of times as we’ve got relatives there. It doesn’t matter what time of year you go you nearly always get rain. You can get four seasons in one day! The Wetherspoons is very nice. Venue Cymru is the theatre, a proper theatre with an arena next door.

It’s someone’s drive so it is very basic but walkable into Llandudno. It’s on pitchup and is called Tan Yr Allt Hall.

Pity about the weather on the Great Orme, it's lovely on a sunny day. Incidentally for you Yorkshire folk, we went to see the Brighouse and Raistrick brass band at the theatre on the prop that Andy couldn't pronounce. Can't get away from Yorkshire!

Hi Claire & Andrew . Glad you enjoyed Llandudno . Been 3 times and on the bikes . We stayed in the Travone 3 times . We did the mines they were great and great orme on the bikes too ! Wow so high what a view From Marine Drive . Andrew would love it 😮 . Coming down the tram route was very steep 😳. Also the Blue Elephant Indian restaurant is great . . It’s a shame the weather was not good for you as the views are breathtaking. You need to go back and do it again 🤗 . Julie 4 ft 11 😊

We went here a few times as kids, when they had a brilliant dry ski slope and a "toboggan" ride, down a giant metal slide type thing! Plus I'm pretty sure they had proper cable cars - as well as the ski lift for the slope.
You'd have to pay me £5.60 to eat their muck on toast though!

We missed the tram when we were there two weeks and it rained. We also missed David Essex who was there the night before performing but we did see him last Friday at Newcastle City Hall. The wife had seen him 50 years ago. He was OK for a 77 year old.😅

Yep all day. We did a bus tour from Conwy to Llandudno £26 for two return. We didn't sit upstairs as it was open topped. It would have been cheaper to take the normal bus.

most of the properties in Llandudno are owned by the mostyn estate and they stipulate in the leases that they have to be painted every ,I think ,five years
We went over to the west shore and it was much quieter. Very peaceful

Wrapper in the bin, love blackjacks, we once went on 22nd November to celebrate the wife's birthday although it was cool the sun was out, and someone (mentioning no names) her indoors / shmbo/ the gaffer had this bright idea that as the trams weren't running we should walk up following the tram lines and we did , couldn't do it now but at least as is often pointed out we did it 😮

Andy, I’ve never seen a seagull on RUclips with a full apple in its mouth. However, living in Cornwall I’ve actually seen one in “real life” swallow one whole 😂. I’m not joking they are eating machines and will eat anything. Depends on the region as well, don’t mess wi seagulls down St Ives 😳😂
