Matt Kenseth It's one of the most level headed driver ever. For him to get to the point where he has had enough that speaks volumes.
Matt being the veteran he is was able to take him out where no one else was involved. Perfect execution.
Its so infuriating that Joey Logano had no reason to wreck him and did it anyway. So when Logano got taken out of the championship it made me so happy for Matt. Logano is a little cunt. I don't even like Nascar, i'm an F1 fan but that was so awesome to watch that bitch get shit on by Matt.
"So much damage in the right front....couldn't get it to turn". Classic.
I'm convinced the drivers just say "uh I couldn't turn" to avoid getting parked for the next few races.

After basically screwing up Matt’s season Matt decided he’d show people that when push comes to shove he’s not afraid to he’d just rather not. It’s one of the greatest revenge stories in nascar because doing this knocked joey down enough so he didn’t win.
I'm not sayting Matt's wrong(Matt is totally justified for wrecking that little shit), I'm just saying that they say that they can't turn to try to get out of being parked. If being parked wasn't a concern Matt would be like "Yeah I ruined his championship because he ruined mine."

Does no one notice that in Kansas Matt wasn't hurt and the car wasn't damaged but in here he could have seriously injured Joey, Matt in Kansas didn't waste money on repairing the car cause it wasn't damaged, but here Joey has to pay thousands to fix the car, I mean yes matt needs to pay for repairs but it wasn't Joey's fault he wrecked it was Brad's fault sorta, and in Kansas he was spun for being slow he was blocking Joey who was going faster than him at the time so why not let him pass so you don't get wrecked and put back places cause of you dumb actions... It's also agressive driving and I agree with Joey it was a coward move when your enemy is in the lead so you wreck him cause your salty on what happened to you in Kansas like Kyle said it's called racing, what kenseth did wasn't racing what Joey did in Kansas was racing because you need to be agressive, but here that wasn't because your out of the race let them pass then you and him can out your day

Also, Joey even made the comments after he broke Denny's back at 200 mph at California that that's what he gets. That was after they showed him what happened to Hamlin. So your point is moot.

I got a new name for Joey Logano:Spin Doctor! I'll never forget when he sent Denny Hamlin smashing into the wall several years ago. Denny suffered a broken back, and had to heal up from that. They interviewed Joey Logano just moments after that happened, and Joey Logano, with a smile on his face, "apologized". It was a half hearted statement...and it wasn't a real apology at all! Joey is such a loser! I don't know which driver I can't stand more...Joey Logano, or Kyle Busch. They're both a couple of losers in my opinion!!! They both have big mouths, and they're both a couple of overgrown babies!
I LOVE Matt Kenseth! That was the most authentic moment of the entire season! Glad to hear Matt is back, even if it is with RFR.

that was one of my favorite moments in the 45 years I've been watching NASCAR. I feel lucky to have been watching it live at the time. I only wish this youtube video had captured the subsequent images that were broadcast of Joey Logano after he'd gone back to the garage looking like he was about to throw a tantrum and burst into tears.

As a Gordon fan, I know him and Matt have had their issues, but I became a Matt Kenseth fan for life for what he did. Revenge for Joey wrecking him because he couldn't beat him. He's talented, but he's such a chicken shit driver.
I'll tell you this. I was at that race and 99% of the fans thought that was well deserved including myself. Including Jeff Gordon winning I"d have to say it was the most hyped up race crowd I've ever been a part of and also probably one of the most hyped up that I've heard even on TV or the radio. One of the best days of my life for sure.

I was sitting in Turn 2, everyone around me went nuts....we were high-fiving each other! Punk finally got what he deserved. Joey has ruffled enough feathers as it is, knocked my driver out for 6 races a few years ago (Denny) and have been perceiving to piss any and every driver off.

Then I watched the radioactive video and if you all notice when Brad dumps Matt (which was intentional) Joey looks back and gives a fist pump ... Then I changed my perspective to he deserved what he got plain and simple

My memory is a bit fuzzy on it, but what Kenseth said in the interview seems to be almost a word for word mockery of what Logano said in his interview after wrecking Kenseth at Kansas...

The crazy thing is this seemed to be a turning point for Logano. Nascar is a give and take sport and Logano seemed to be an always take type of driver that pissed off a lot of people with his aggressive driving. I think this was a wake up call to him on what happens if you play that way. I have to give him respect because he could have gotten out of his car and went after Kenseth, but I think instead he got the message, walked away and learned from it. From that day he seems to be more of a give and take driver and has really learned when to turn the aggression and and when not too. That ultimately lead to him winning a Championship. I never was much of a fan of Kenseth, but I suppose one could thank him for this moment.

I remember being there and being so damn happy to see this happen. Logano has been a shitty person since I've known about his existence. Not to mention, this helped Gordon win his last race of his "last" season. I was so happy. Definitely in my top 3 races I've ever watched.

The elimination style playoff system is absolute garbage and is not fit for a motorsport like this. But it did lead to this one amazing moment.
Been to the race at Martinsville many times. This will always be my favorite day. Between Jeff getting his final win and Kenseth serving Logano what he had coming, this was a great, great day.! The more they showed the replay on the jumbotron of Kenseth taking him out, the louder we got!

this is by far the best call by Rick Allen ever. He really was able to capture the emotion because the crowd was 100% on the side of Matt Kenseth and seeing him take out Joey Logano probably made that crowd go crazy and then it led to Jeff Gordon‘s 93rd victory that got him a spot in the final four so this has got to be one of NASCAR’s greatest races of all time!

I remember the first time when I went to a race when Logano was introduced he was showered in boos and obscene gestures from everyone in the stands. This is one of those moments in sports where you get a big stupid grin on your face and can't wipe it off
How ironic, I remember Jeff Gordon and Matt Kenseth wrecking each other and having a history, but leave it to Kenseth, to knock out Logano, the only car that could beat Gordon that night, opening the door for Gordon to get his last win and get a chance to win a final championship.
The best part is Logano complaining when he did the same thing at Kansas.
Joey can't take what he dishes out. I wish Kenseth did that to Logano at a bigger race track like Michigan, Pocono, Auto Club, Indianapolis, Daytona, or Talladega.

The funniest thing was Joey's spotter audio on the broadcast told him inside, Inside, INSIDE....Crunch. Joey took out Morgan Shepard a couple years ago just like this one. He sorta passed Shepard, then swooped down reducing racing line speed to where no longer clear of passed car & they hit. Same w/Joey's screw-up passing Kenseth, poor baby!!!!!

Karafin1 i respectfully disagree. I think what Gordon did was a lot worse. Because Bowyer didn't take Jeff out of a championship. And Gordon cut his own tire down at Phoenix. Joey took Matt out of a championship at Kansas, and Matt returned the favor at Martinsville.
Bowyer had also gotten into Gordon several times that year. Bowyer dive-bombed Gordon and Johnson at Martinsville on a restart and took both of them. Gordon had enough of it.

Escape for Mankind All drivers and all fans know that to move a car without wrecking , all you gotta do is get behind it, take air off the spoiler, which makes the 1st car wiggle up the track. Logano is a dirty driver. He would rather put someone into the wall than pass them clean. If he had a faster car than Kenseth at Kansas then he should have passed him clean. Logano deserved what he got at Martinsville. I bet that a lot of the other drivers when and shock Kenseth's hand and told him they were glad he did it.

You know something else that adds salt to the wound? Joey used to drive the #20 car. So the car he punted at Kansas, cut off at Talladega, and got his teammate to punt, a lot of guys Joey used to work with were on that car.
