And he could've said it more times, specially in the first ones, some of the dumbest questions they could have asked aiming clearly to get some kind of controversial response from the drivers..
For real. I feel a ton of respect for him and Max. They're competing, fiercely. Even if it's not an on-track battle but one in the points, this is great and they're both handling these questions honorably. They have plenty of drama in the title fight and don't care about the added sprinkles of commentary being thrown at them.

I mean this proved that even though there is a rivalry between max and lando. Their friendship remains on top! They laugh and poke at each other like friends do! I am optimistic about the new generation of f1 drivers, enemies on track but friends off track
Its always been this way. The further back you go, the more friendly they were with each other in general.
Probably like Lauda and Hunt. Peak rivalry but underrated friendship. Even Lauda said Rush’s portrayal of their relationship is leans too much on the rivalry.

I was going to say this too. I mean, Daniel is old pals of Lando too, not just Max! Daniel isn't thinking "which driver do I help or hurt" but "how do I stay in F1" to be fair. I'm sure to some degree Lando is annoyed Daniel took it, but I also think he means it when he says he's happy for Daniel.

Reporters always have a story angle in mind before the presser and just need a quote to support it. I’ll bet one of tomorrow’s headlines will be ‘Oscar blasts pointless new DRS zone’ or something equally misleading.

I'm so sick of 'journalists' trying to create controversy. The guy asking about Daniel, being a RB team member effectively, taking away Lando's fastest lap point and if Lando thought it was poor form of RB to do that. What a stupid question that was asked purely to create headlines/a story.

Because there's no drama between these drivers and the past races have been quite clean. No safety cars and so on. So these reporters have nothing interesting to write about On their websites to generate enough clicks every day. So the only thing they can do is trying to stir the pot or asks questions nobody wants to hear.

This was an all time great f1 press conference, I’m sure in like a decade time this will be referenced
all those reporters should find a new job. those questions were awful. asking 3 drivers about a new DRS Zone that they didnt even use. asking questions like "do youe xpect this to go down to the wire" like whats lando meant to say "nah man honestly, I feel i might take some annual leave so im not gonna be in the next races so easy for max to win it" like come on! ask more ballsy questions, ie "Lando, going back to when the team gave orders for you to let Oscar past to win the race, do you feel that youd be more comfortable with catching up had that decision not been made?" or similar "if you was to lose the championship by a few points, is it those moments you will look back at?"
