This video provides a chemical free alternative to protect your crops and property from this destructive pest. We are showing one of many disposable containers you can repurpose to trap the beetles. The ingredients are sugar, water, yeast, and a fruit to attract the insects. This video shows how you too can build your own traps with recycled containers.
I found a couple beetles in my garden today and since they aren’t the British musicians I am going to build them a trap tomorrow. Thanks for the easy fix.
If THE BEETLES move into your garden you will be seeing a lot more of me and maybe the cast of ghosts adventure lol
Update on how well the trap worked.... It was too late to save my brussel sprouts but it did save my pepper patch! I ended up yielding roughly 30 gallons of peppers! These all went in to my secret hot pepper blend.😋
Okay great I saw how you made the trap. But how well did it work??? You should show a 2nd video showing how many beetles you caught!!!
I have same problem where I live with my grape plants. Leaves get skeletonized in a hurry.
I just buy the “Rescue” beetle trap from Lowe’s and hang them up along my fence! They seem to be working well. Can probably catch 1000 of those suckers in a month or less.
Sorry I do not hear exacly what engridians are? can you write?
Thank you, need the chicken and fish bait.
Neat-0 newbie here!!!
How much of each ingredient do you need to use? …and is the tequila mix used for its sugar content? Are there different kinds of fruit juice that you can use? Thank you
Glad I watched this - going to make a few for this coming season here in Ohio !
