I think being earnestly fascinated by these, what some would call, simple things is a great quality in a person. If someone else showed me a big spinning top like that, I probably wouldn’t care that much because maybe I’ve just become overly jaded. But Tim has a great way of explaining the wonder behind these little trinkets.

Does anyone know where you can find one of those little flow ring sets he shows when he begins showing those off? I honestly think that would make a really cool ring

If you look at stormproof matches, they have a lot more chemicals like coating. usually half the match stick is coated with some sort of oxidizing compound it help it burn in any condition, even when it gets wet or submerged.

Actually I've used a working match that was larger than that one you showed. It was about that length but thicker and wider. It was excellent for starting campfires.

Some of the smaller tennis balls are used as fetch toys for small dogs. We used one with our chihuahua for years.

Tip for the tennis balls, from a janitor.
If you're working somewhere with a waxed floor, cut a hole in the tennis ball, put it on a stick or hand of some sort, and the texture of the tennis ball will remove traction marks off the floor.
I want that big one for work.
