Tim is always ready to share his puzzles and illusions in order to entertain people. For this reason he keeps a small pack of items in his pocket at all times, ready for some impromptu fun at a moment's notice.
So imagine if you will that you have just bumped into Tim at a party, and he reaches into his pocket to show you the following items....
Scott Kim can write your name on a piece of paper in such a way that it reads the same whichever way up you look at it!
Tim then demonstrates some other intriguing business cards.

Something that goes completely under appreciated for Tim is that all of his videos are one take. Truly extraordinary.

What he means is with modern RUclips videos. There's so many cuts. It's almost obnoxious. Hurts my eyes.. This is classic content..what RUclips was made for. There's so much junk out there now on RUclips. It's so saturated in your face, editing and crazy music and sounds. I hate it. Lol

Basically a video about Tim's EDC, but instead of knives and flashlights it's tricks and optical illusions. Love it.
I would love to see an animated clip of a gentleman unpacking a LCP, folding knife, an altoid tin first aid kid, and flashlight and then have Tim stating I have a business card and a Top!

I believe that "spark of joy" is what is the fundamental thing Tim collects. Knowing that people out in the world are trying to "spark joy" is a comforting thought. Tim has decided to live in that world!!!

Same here, didn't notice the Farhi until Tim started pointing it out.
This is so wholesome. My grandpa used to do magic tricks (optical illusions) for me growing up. To this day, I still don't know how he "disappeared" a quarter. When he was sick in 2017, prior to his passing, he still refused to tell me how he did it. I think that was his way of keeping the magic alive.

If I could remember the one channel since the day I discovered RUclips it's this.... Tim made my childhood open to curiosithy and still does when I'm at my 26th, what an extraordinary human being!
Every time I'm feeling a bit blue I put on Tim's channel and it cheers me right up

Lynja was the internet's grandmother, always showing others how to make things, and also she would take things to the extreme in hopes she would get a world record, but Tim. Theres an award for you, our internet grandfather... You'd get the award for the largest collection of all sorts of trinkets and interesting things. Because like most grandfathers, you have many... many... things to show people, that will peak their interest and curiosity!

Great video. The Victorian phantom baseball card has what is called a 'Siemens Star' on it. It is a target used for testing optical equipment. Nice that it can also do an optical illusion.
I am so glad that YT algorithm brought Tim into my life. Such calming, pure joy inducing videos. I think you very much for the same. The only other youtuber who brings pure bliss and calmness into my heart is a Canadian van lifer called Foresty Forest.

Now I'm thinking about copying the two tables and tablecloth and printing them up. Then I can pull out the tablecloth and tell my friends that it's a magic tablecloth. To prove it's magic, I can make it fit two different sizes and shapes of tables. 😀
