What's cool about this is that the U-Wing here is more akin to a Clone Wars-era fighter. It isn't as degraded any OT Y Wing. In fact, it looks almost pristine. It gives us a look at how Clone Wars era spacecrafts would look and contrast against the OT era world and honestly, it fits just fine for me! Also a plus side for reinforcing the connection between the two trilogies
I mean... X-wing and A-wing werent degraded either, X-wing might have been a bit old, but A-wing was a top of the line fighter designed by the alliance itself out of a new design from a local defence force and the B-Wing was an extremely high tech and powerful bomber designed by the mon cala, and that needed constant and careful maintenance. U-wing takes a lot of aesthetic from the x-wing in fact, you can easily see they share a lot of parts and style in the details, i think because they're made by the same company in-universe. I'm not saying it doesnt fit, i think it fits great and i love it, i just dont see how it looks like a clone wars era fighter past the fact of not having been stripped like the y-wing
Saw Guerra, Rebel, Terrorist, Freedom Fighter. He has lived a long life and has seen so much death and so much pain and suffering and some of that was his fault as well. In his crippled state Saw knew that couldn't make it and when he saw that giant wave he took of his lung tube and he put up his arms and said "BRING IT ON EMPIRE!!!!!!!". He died on his own terms and he found the peace that he wanted.
Going into hyperspace from inside an atmosphere? Seeing star streaks despite not passing any stars? Then going too slow in the next shot anyway. If this is supposed to be the best of the Disney movies then damn, it's all complete garbage
No because what prevents a ship jumping into hyperspace inside a gravity well is the actual hyperdrive seeing it as too dangerous but they can be turned off Anyway they were already out of the planet, the explosion debris is literally extending into space, plus we see ships jumping close to planets before so it’s really arbitrary how close something has to be to a planet to not let it jump to hyperspace Also you’re saying the entire movie is bad after one tiny scene? This movie easily beats most of George’s stuff in the writing department
Imagine being in space and seeing a ship make it out in time.

This is the widest of wide screen shots I've ever seen. I keep trying to scroll up to see the rest of it xD
Still sad saw dies in his first appearance since 2012

He'll return in Andor series
@@aslamnurfikri7640 Yes. Because Disney loves beating on a long dead horse that they themselves killed.
Sad ending for Saw but... it's how he would have wanted to go out. The U-Wing OTOH is a really silly design but we love it nonetheless.
i got the high ground !
I have got problem on horizon
There ia no horizon!
Why is there lighting. I’m not mad i just want to know. if anyone knows please tell me
2 words, "movie magic"
Static electric build-up and discharge in the dust particles, similar to the lightning visible during some volcanic eruptions here on Earth.
@@johnprice5784 i didnt expect there to actually be a logical explanation... wow, rogue one really is p much the only Disney SW movie that isnt shit
@@kvproductions2581 Yeah, look up volcano eruption with lightning, its a real thing
@@MrBadApple999 yeah i've seen, man rogue one is really disney star wars's only actually good movie
Merci
They went into hyperspace within an atmosphere?
Desperate times call for desperate measures
Yes, they did. That’s very dangerous to do.
It's either that or getting pulverized
That transition was so clean I just hope they didn't burn their ships hull too bad

Yeah, people forget that planetary gravity field excludes hyperspace jumps
