I went from Cub Scout up to Boy Scout in the 70s and 80s. My Scout Leaders were Ex Military from the Viet Nam War. These guys taught us how to survive with nothing. But they over stressed, BE PREPAERD FOR ANYTHING. Always plan for the worse and hope for the best. I have lived by their teachings to this very day, and it has gotten me out of a lot of bad situations. I was a member of LA County Search and Resue, and most people we pulled out of our oceans, mountain and water ways were unprepared. You are not over doing it. Great Chanel, Great content.
Adam - Awesome job explaining your truly impressive load out. I respect having redundant emergency comms/beacons. Your backup should always be better than your primary. The Motto is: TWO is ONE, ONE is NONE. Cheers!
You nearly have it all. You just need to add arm bands, Life Bouy, extendable oars, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, survival suit and maybe a ISO life raft or two. Seriously though, given your long rides out to sea you're better off having the equipemnt you have. Ever think about peronalizing your SeaDoo? You can get graphics/wraps for them from places like MotoWrap. Not sure on any to fit the Fish Pro but definitely get some that fit your lasses S.D. Even if you can't get a warp to fit, those orange parts look a bit dull. Get some neon yellow to brighten it up and make it match the brand colours a bit more.
Always good thing to be prepared, last week i got to find myself in a situation where i needed some basic medical gear and i didn’t have it. I made sure i got what ever i could possibly need ready now.
One can never have too much safety equipment. My motto is: better to have and not need than need and not have. My children call me paranoid, I call me prepared!! 🤘👍
That is a genius video, thank you. just getting into the sport, after following your videos. There have been “thousands” of people lost at sea, that would have given one of their hands to have the safety equipment you have. There’s no such thing as being overly safe, or prepared. Keep up the great work, praying for your safe adventures.
Hi Adam, I use to own a PWC it was a Yamaha, and I use to carry safety stuff aswell. My friends use to laugh about it, cause they carried nothing except a fire extinguisher cause it's by law here. Luckily we never had to use none of them. But good for you my friend for thinking of everything and stay safe. Love from Malta 🇲🇹 ❤️
I'm freshwater fishing in Washington, and have the beacon, marine radio, and a few other things that we NEVER used to use boating! As much room as the '22 Trophy has, I wish it had a little more! I got more fishing shit to take out! 8 hrs of break in done, nearly time to just do as I feel like on it.
what's the peak MPH you have hit so far with yours? You're like 100 lbs lighter than me, and may not carry as much crap along. 52 is all it's given me so far, fully loaded, full of fuel etc.
Adam, it's better to be safe than sorry and at least if itt fits than why not. Great info to stay safe. Keep up the great content and lotd of love from Australia. Abs.
Hi Adam this is Pete from Chicago I've been watching you since you've been on Michael you're doing a great job on your own keep up the good work Buddy class act 😀
Great vid! 1:44 Keen to know, when you say "people will know that it's me..." Which people? Who does the distress signal go out to? Coastguard? Police? Close friends you've arranged to be contacted by the walkie talkie company?
love the vids, love to see somebody enjoying themselves! just a small point, you have buoyancy aids not life jackets, there is a difference between the two.
Love your vids Adam. Question: with your icom 93 when getting a mmsi # did you have to go through the fcc because of the DSC? Boat us says I do. Just wondering how easy it was for you. I'm just like you in local us waters in so cal too.
I kept waiting on the kitchen sink...well now I c u r safe u have fun, wish u would get mikiepooh out ther with ya.... he'll look great in them ther silkz......lol have a wonderful weekend love Y'ALL
While I don’t have a Sea Doo Jet ski I have a Sea Doo Switch Cruise and hopefully I can pick up a used jet ski like yours. I take the same approach to saftey, “ I rather have it and not need it , than need it and not have it!”.
Shoot Adam, I'm having a bitch of a time getting my MMSI number for my m94d. I have tried boatus ,boaters club .no luck. If anyone has experience please let me know. I just might have to do all the b.s. at FCC. yikes
Definitely great info Adam. Our Jet-ski group from the desert (Southern California ) are getting ready for Catalina Island as we previously spoke. I'll advise you on Instagram later on today of the date that we are going so you can mark your calendar 👍👍👍
You rock sir. Your videos are awesome and always perfectly done. Are you on Facebook messenger? Would love to share some of my photography 📸 I do with ya.

Truuuuueee!
Interesting video Adam, thanks.
Cheers John
Best video yet! Thank you for taking the time to show, in depth, your safety equipment set up.
Thanks for watching!
Terrific video you can never have too much safety gear

They wouldn’t be laughing if they got in trouble
@@AdamSwords exactly
You are well equipped. I agree with everything you have aboard. You are on the Ocean and not a Zlake.
Yup!
a high powered flash light would be good as well for search and rescue / MOB.
It would, I’ll add one of my LEDLenser P7R
Cant get enough of your videos
Thanks!

Safety, so important! Thx Adam
Sure is!
Strap your seats and forward hatch cover. Carry a battery jump pack and pinch pliers in the event of a tow.

All of the above
hey adam im new to the channel but absolutely loving it keep up the great work!!!!
That’s awesome!! Welcome!
You’re missing a critical bit. You should have a metal probe tool to get lodged things out of the jet. And a long fish knife for cutting line out.
👍great safety equipment Adam it's always good to be prepared at all times 💕
Thanks Sherri!
thank you for explaining
Tomorrow I will go straight to the store to get stuff
even on the small waters in the Netherlands :)
Better safe than sorry!

May I suggest the spyderco salt knife. I think it will be your new go to !
Oooh I like it just by the name!! I’ll check it out.
@@AdamSwords It will be perfect for you!!!
Are you getting the new Explorer Pro 170? This just seems like your kind of Sea-Doo!
You bet I am! It’s even my brand colours ;)
Nice one Cheesecake!
✌🏻
Would there ever be an instance to "tether" yourself somehow to your machine?
Same thing time to Change it up
🤦🏻♂️
Is there a good small self inflatable raft available that can be put in teh storage compartment?
I have one that’ll go on the front of my new ski
Do you have a link please, I havent found an ideal modell for a jetski yet - maybe someone should develop? 😉.
Thanks for the content 💯 I’m getting my seadoo soon and this helps a lot‼️🫡🙌🏾
Adam inspired me im gonna move to cali soon Sunday is funday I wanna ride seedoo gtx 230 or 300 limited with my girlfriend !!
Amazing! You’re gonna love it
You’ll have a blast!
love your videos
I appreciate you watching!
Do you still use all the same equipment as far as the Marine radio and personal location beacon are concerned?
Yup!
Most of those things are no good if the SeaDoo sinks. You better put some container with flares, a good knife that will not rust and water on you.
The PLB, radio, offshore life vest and epirb are all absolutely useful if the SeaDoo was to sink.
there's a saying I use, "the five p's" Preparation prevents piss poor performance but in this case death or worse getting told off by Micheal........
97.1K!
Nice..
👌🏼
im wondering do you have a torch ??? you probably don't have enough room for a inflatable lift raft [ lol ]. great video Adam bravo
Funnily enough I’ve been eyeing up a little one man raft!
@@AdamSwords cool safety first
Better yet is a tow sled...serves multiple purposes and frees up space on the ski.

How strange, did mine all online no issues.
Lmao you seriously carry all that crap with you?? Don't let a woman know how paranoid you are lol
Haha lmao lol
