It's a nightmare in oceania, the servers here are awful. Been fully booted out of games 4-5 times, and another 4-5 times I've lagged out for ~30 seconds and when the connection comes back I've gone down. Given that I've played well under 50 games in total and usually don't go past round 31, this is really bad. My connection is perfect btw.

Regarding Parasites in LF, the way Vermins are likely set up is that their prefab contains the entire hierarchy of evolving enemies (Zombie > Vermin > Parasite) and the Parasite evolution likely got triggered via a bug in LF

I've seem that amd some other youtuber who made a post titled something like "skill based damage proved and mentioned by dev". The dev was a random dev not working for cod and the videos that were proof literally showed the guy lagging in other ways like choppiness in movement, some textures not loading, etc... so didn't prove anything except the guys connection of system is bad enough to cause those issues along woth lag on shooting people.

The same thing happens in the Souls games PvP. You see the attack hit and you see the blood spray but they don't take any damage or even flinch and FromSoft is known for not having great servers ...It's definitely more a problem with their stuff than ours

As a multi tourney competitor/winner in Dark Souls 1 and Elden Ring. yeah man, client to client hit detection makes that shit happen with high latency. we see the hit connect on our end but it misses on theirs. resulting in phantoms hits. It's annoying and i won't even play in tournaments that are cross regional fk that sht lmao
okay, i watched multiple videos explaining this. treyarch is not explaining this enough, but it is not what people think. A LOT of cod is handled client side, and the clients are synced to the host to relay the information to the actual game. Blood splatter is handled client side, this is evident when you go to bot games. You can shoot off of a target and still get blood splatter without any hitmarkers. Just because it seems to be a lie without proper understanding, doesnt mean its actually false. ExclusiveAce has an entire video talking about it and showing how it works. You dont have to believe me, just go watch his video.

Even if you have a top of the line pc, you get in a gunfight but it’s already happened and been decided, you get killed(very quickly usually) and the killcam doesn’t even nearly match like you’ve emptied about a full clip into someone and it doesn’t even show you shoot one bullet it’s actual madness how it’s not been fixed
They could be nerfing players in real time. Blametruth brought up that Ricochet could be a nerfing platform that nerfs players performing well in real time. The thing is, they did this before. Remember in Warzone when a cheater/hacker would shoot at someone, and they would vanish, or the offender would do no damage. I believe that Ricochet isn’t an anticheat, but a player management software that actively nerfs players.
The fact that people think skill based damage is a plausible thing that could actually be properly implemented into a game like cod goes to show how much people have not a single clue on game development. And muting the damage on a cheater is much much much less a sophisticated process than an active software that scales player damage in real time based on player performance
Definitely agree about the need for Max Armour to be renamed. No mention of fixing the 'Gullible' or 'Close Call' Calling Card Challenges. Also i'd really like for them to stop your gobblegum packs being reset when prestiging - it serves no purpose as you don't lose your gums or access to them base on your level and having to make the packs again is just annoying.
Ran into 2 bugs recently too. 1. An issue they said they addressed, where the Amalgam could suck u, and then release u inside of a wall where u get stuck for the rest if the game. 2. During an exfil on LF, me and my random teammates successfully exfilled, and are INSIDE of the cinematic where they enter the helicopter, but suddenly, the helicopter gies up, while the camera remains still and we watch our characters phase through the heli and stay standing in the map. We are able to shoot and reload and such, but frim this weird, front side 3rd person view, and zombies can hit and down us. But even when we all down, the game does not end, so we are REQUIRED to dashboard to leave the game because "leave game" was a locked option (I never know why they lock features like leaving yhe game or editing classes between SnD rounds in mp). Both bery strange occurrences, thought I'd mention

Love how theres no word of the zipline bug that removes the last zombie and doesnt finish the round so youre stuck with no zombies and no way to progress unless you save and quit

Hi Milo! I commented a while back about how some accounts affected by the Nov 21st intel/medals wipe weren't updated. I've finally heard back from Activision's support team regarding this, and they weren't able to restore my medals or intel. They did give me 5 hours of 2xp tokens (yay, I guess...), but yeah, any medals or intel I gained from before Nov 21st just don't exist anymore. I haven't seen people talk about this, so I figured I'd mention it!
Server is the main game, the part we play is called the client. If you understand that when you shoot in game you are requesting the server to shoot, move, Anything. The client is a representation of the server hate defending COD but people just don’t know game dev

@@siren_atlantica if I complain about not winning the lottery is it relevant to my state, yes they should move to anything above 20 tick servers for the fidelity and and to hammer out the latency issues cause it’s not a net code issue it’s a client displaying content it shouldn’t be if you understand how net code works IE I click on u, the server see the request and I see a hit on my end, but the rocket knows where it is, so it calculates where u where and where I was line of sight and line of sight at time of the shot. This all happens in milliseconds/ time code so if I shoot .00035ths of a second faster in the sever I win, hardware, internet (to the server, to the other clients,) all take into account in the calculation on top of any melding with engagement optimized matchmaking or anti cheat
The main reason I'm worried about the 2027 CoD is that IW preceeds it. Sledgehammer is going to have to deal with the probably insane decisions and changes made in the engine and mechanics of their game. Now that all the games are so unified with the engine and IW is the main developer for it and probably has all the engineers for it, every other studio has to inherit the pros and cons of that engine iteration. Heres hoping Sledgehammer and Treyarch do a bit more customization for their next games and that Activision doesnt force them to take direction from IW *at all.*

I’m pretty sure the reason they have an AFK timer is because now that the game is always online, people sitting around doing nothing is taking up their server space. easy fix - let people play zombies & single player modes offline as we’ve been able to do for decades, but of course they won’t do it

6:34 this is a dumb argument, they’re using the client’s blood splatter as "proof" that the servers are faulty when in the very tweet they’re talking about Treyarch is telling them the blood splatter is faulty. I don’t see why people just to the problem being that the server isn’t registering hits that it should be rather than the client registering hits that it shouldn’t. Imagine if two people had calculators, and each one got a different answer on a certain operation. Person 1, who made both of the calculatiors, says that their calculator is correct, but Person 2 says that their calculator must be the correct one, "proving" that Person 1’s is incorrect. Person 2 has no evidence to back up their claim (other than several other scenarios in which the two calculators disagree), so you’d obviously trust the person that made the calculator on which one is working. The way I see it Treyarch simply explained what was happening to people that were complaining about a bug, and they didn’t like the truth so they refused to believe it and called Treyarch a liar. What does Treyarch even have to gain by lying about whether it’s a client-side or server-side bug anyway?

So server issues would devalue the stock, investment stuff I’m not gonna sit here and explain stocks because I don’t really know that much but covering it up would make the company look good “we aren’t bad we are good see” that kinda thing, as for the server issues they are a know problem being reported by a lot of people aside for the streams you see, but the streams themselves could 100% be exaggerating the problem just for views it’s happened before and easy to achieve with a lag switch(deliberate bad connection basically) but like i mentioned people outside of streams and influence have also reported these problems and I my self have experienced these problems and I’m running fibre optic so i would know if it was my connection. Summary: so essentially multiple sources have said the same thing and activision have been known to lie, so i don’t think it’s people’s connection I do think there are server problems.

Im so over the Modern Warfare reboot series. I had a lot of fun with MP, but the storyline was an absolute mess and its effectively killed any interest I had in that series.

I love the zombies. I wish they would bring back the zombie ranking system. I was a shotgun player, the ranking system was a mystery, and I wore those shotguns as a badge of honor. It made me feel proud that I was a zombie slayer, and it let others know in the lobby that I wasn’t messing around.
The hit registration is a problem in zombies too. There’s multiple times where I’ll shoot a zombie in the head and the animation of their head exploding will play, but their head won’t disappear and they won’t get killed. It’s gotten me downed multiple times. Didn’t know it was a problem in warzone too 😭

The Exclusive Ace made a video yesterday addressing the hit marker/blood splatter issues. TL;DR it comes down to your client, your PC, Xbox, Playstation registering a hit on an enemy while the servers that everyone's system is connected to did not register that hit for whatever reason. Most of the time it boils down to not leading the target when they're outside of your hit scan range, but other times it's other buggy problems like shooting into an invisible vehicle which would block your bullets from hitting the enemy, but your client still registering that it should be a hit. Think about Nuketown with the invisible bus, except it's with other vehicles that don't allow for bullet penetration. There's still problems to be had, but TECHNICALLY Treyarch and Activision aren't wrong in saying that those blood splatters shouldn't be happening. Definitely recommend watching Ace's video as he goes much more in depth and even explains specific examples within BO6 and Warzone.
PSA - The Sirin weapon we just got from Hit List event may be INCOMPATIBLE with some weapons. That is to say they CANNOT be used together, if you try equipping either of the following it will swap with the Sirin instead; - LR 7.62 (Did work fine at one point but later on issue arose) - GPR These are only the ones I discovered moments ago there may be more that are equally incompatible, pinning this might be useful until this is addressed. Believe this is a bug due to the Sirin being classed as a Secondary. Weapons that DO work, in an effort to narrow the field, are; GS45 ASG-89 DM-10 Marine SP C9 Tanto AK-74 XMG Hoping I ran into an anomaly but just in case this is a bug I thought I'd share in the hope that whatever happened doesn't do so again.

Regarding Parasites in LF, the way Vermins are likely set up is that their prefab contains the entire hierarchy of evolving enemies (Zombie > Vermin > Parasite) and the Parasite evolution likely got triggered via a bug in LF

I've seem that amd some other youtuber who made a post titled something like "skill based damage proved and mentioned by dev". The dev was a random dev not working for cod and the videos that were proof literally showed the guy lagging in other ways like choppiness in movement, some textures not loading, etc... so didn't prove anything except the guys connection of system is bad enough to cause those issues along woth lag on shooting people.

okay, i watched multiple videos explaining this. treyarch is not explaining this enough, but it is not what people think.
A LOT of cod is handled client side, and the clients are synced to the host to relay the information to the actual game. Blood splatter is handled client side, this is evident when you go to bot games. You can shoot off of a target and still get blood splatter without any hitmarkers. Just because it seems to be a lie without proper understanding, doesnt mean its actually false.
ExclusiveAce has an entire video talking about it and showing how it works. You dont have to believe me, just go watch his video.

Even if you have a top of the line pc, you get in a gunfight but it’s already happened and been decided, you get killed(very quickly usually) and the killcam doesn’t even nearly match like you’ve emptied about a full clip into someone and it doesn’t even show you shoot one bullet it’s actual madness how it’s not been fixed

They could be nerfing players in real time. Blametruth brought up that Ricochet could be a nerfing platform that nerfs players performing well in real time. The thing is, they did this before. Remember in Warzone when a cheater/hacker would shoot at someone, and they would vanish, or the offender would do no damage. I believe that Ricochet isn’t an anticheat, but a player management software that actively nerfs players.

Ran into 2 bugs recently too.
1. An issue they said they addressed, where the Amalgam could suck u, and then release u inside of a wall where u get stuck for the rest if the game.
2. During an exfil on LF, me and my random teammates successfully exfilled, and are INSIDE of the cinematic where they enter the helicopter, but suddenly, the helicopter gies up, while the camera remains still and we watch our characters phase through the heli and stay standing in the map. We are able to shoot and reload and such, but frim this weird, front side 3rd person view, and zombies can hit and down us. But even when we all down, the game does not end, so we are REQUIRED to dashboard to leave the game because "leave game" was a locked option (I never know why they lock features like leaving yhe game or editing classes between SnD rounds in mp).

Hi Milo! I commented a while back about how some accounts affected by the Nov 21st intel/medals wipe weren't updated. I've finally heard back from Activision's support team regarding this, and they weren't able to restore my medals or intel. They did give me 5 hours of 2xp tokens (yay, I guess...), but yeah, any medals or intel I gained from before Nov 21st just don't exist anymore. @@siren_atlantica if I complain about not winning the lottery is it relevant to my state, yes they should move to anything above 20 tick servers for the fidelity and and to hammer out the latency issues cause it’s not a net code issue it’s a client displaying content it shouldn’t be if you understand how net code works IE I click on u, the server see the request and I see a hit on my end, but the rocket knows where it is, so it calculates where u where and where I was line of sight and line of sight at time of the shot. This all happens in milliseconds/ time code so if I shoot .00035ths of a second faster in the sever I win, hardware, internet (to the server, to the other clients,) all take into account in the calculation on top of any melding with engagement optimized matchmaking or anti cheat
The main reason I'm worried about the 2027 CoD is that IW preceeds it. Sledgehammer is going to have to deal with the probably insane decisions and changes made in the engine and mechanics of their game. Now that all the games are so unified with the engine and IW is the main developer for it and probably has all the engineers for it, every other studio has to inherit the pros and cons of that engine iteration. Heres hoping Sledgehammer and Treyarch do a bit more customization for their next games and that Activision doesnt force them to take direction from IW *at all.*

I’m pretty sure the reason they have an AFK timer is because now that the game is always online, people sitting around doing nothing is taking up their server space. easy fix - let people play zombies & single player modes offline as we’ve been able to do for decades, but of course they won’t do it

6:34 this is a dumb argument, they’re using the client’s blood splatter as "proof" that the servers are faulty when in the very tweet they’re talking about Treyarch is telling them the blood splatter is faulty. I don’t see why people just to the problem being that the server isn’t registering hits that it should be rather than the client registering hits that it shouldn’t. Imagine if two people had calculators, and each one got a different answer on a certain operation. Person 1, who made both of the calculatiors, says that their calculator is correct, but Person 2 says that their calculator must be the correct one, "proving" that Person 1’s is incorrect. Person 2 has no evidence to back up their claim (other than several other scenarios in which the two calculators disagree), so you’d obviously trust the person that made the calculator on which one is working. The way I see it Treyarch simply explained what was happening to people that were complaining about a bug, and they didn’t like the truth so they refused to believe it and called Treyarch a liar. What does Treyarch even have to gain by lying about whether it’s a client-side or server-side bug anyway?
What do they gain? Why does a company profiteering have to gain from lying about their faulty products? Is this really a question?

So server issues would devalue the stock, investment stuff I’m not gonna sit here and explain stocks because I don’t really know that much but covering it up would make the company look good “we aren’t bad we are good see” that kinda thing, as for the server issues they are a know problem being reported by a lot of people aside for the streams you see, but the streams themselves could 100% be exaggerating the problem just for views it’s happened before and easy to achieve with a lag switch(deliberate bad connection basically) but like i mentioned people outside of streams and influence have also reported these problems and I my self have experienced these problems and I’m running fibre optic so i would know if it was my connection.
Summary: so essentially multiple sources have said the same thing and activision have been known to lie, so i don’t think it’s people’s connection I do think there are server problems.

The AFK timer is to prevent glitchers from sitting in one spot for hours to harvest gobble gums. Gobbles in BO6 are time based.

I love the zombies. I wish they would bring back the zombie ranking system. I was a shotgun player, the ranking system was a mystery, and I wore those shotguns as a badge of honor. It made me feel proud that I was a zombie slayer, and it let others know in the lobby that I wasn’t messing around.
The hit registration is a problem in zombies too. There’s multiple times where I’ll shoot a zombie in the head and the animation of their head exploding will play, but their head won’t disappear and they won’t get killed. It’s gotten me downed multiple times. Didn’t know it was a problem in warzone too 😭

The Exclusive Ace made a video yesterday addressing the hit marker/blood splatter issues. TL;DR it comes down to your client, your PC, Xbox, Playstation registering a hit on an enemy while the servers that everyone's system is connected to did not register that hit for whatever reason. Most of the time it boils down to not leading the target when they're outside of your hit scan range, but other times it's other buggy problems like shooting into an invisible vehicle which would block your bullets from hitting the enemy, but your client still registering that it should be a hit. Think about Nuketown with the invisible bus, except it's with other vehicles that don't allow for bullet penetration. There's still problems to be had, but TECHNICALLY Treyarch and Activision aren't wrong in saying that those blood splatters shouldn't be happening. Definitely recommend watching Ace's video as he goes much more in depth and even explains specific examples within BO6 and Warzone.

PSA - The Sirin weapon we just got from Hit List event may be INCOMPATIBLE with some weapons.
That is to say they CANNOT be used together, if you try equipping either of the following it will swap with the Sirin instead;
- LR 7.62 (Did work fine at one point but later on issue arose)
- GPR
These are only the ones I discovered moments ago there may be more that are equally incompatible, pinning this might be useful until this is addressed. Believe this is a bug due to the Sirin being classed as a Secondary.
