I’ll never forget my friend and I racing to finish the Terminus EE the night before directed mode released so we could get the calling card. The whole game he kept going down while I stayed alive, probably 5 times total. We got to the boss fight and I must’ve gone down 6 times total against patient 13. He didn’t go down once and somehow managed to revive me every single time. My chopper gunner ended up taking out the boss and we won but it was only possible because of him. Definitely my number one boss fight experience in zombies and a new core memory

Yes. I'm 30. Grew up with the first 3 CoD games. WaW was an immediate favourite of mine, because Zombies. And yes, I was initially skeptical about BO6, but it's growing on me. Hopefully CDM and The Mansion maps are amazing.
27:18 the shitty part is, the emotional story behind the boss IS there, it's just in intels and never explored in cutscenes or voicelines. Patient 13 was a caring guy, who hated what was happening on the island, and hated what was happening to Nathan. He was trying to help Nathan calm down and not get aggressive with the scientists because he was scared Nathan would be moved to the biological testing stuff, which he was. In the end, he got found out and turned into a monster, which is what happens in the calling card for the map. Patient 13 does have a cool story, they just don't actually make it part of the dialogue in the fight.
@@jameshibberd5134 It would cost millions to produce the cutscenes to fully flesh the story out due to the new graphics and quality of the cinematics. It would be amazing, but the cost would be insane I'm sure.

Fun fact for #10: There is a spawn for the aether storm where one of the 4 potential boss fight locations are. So there is a very small chance that the aether storm spawns on top of the boss fight arena. I have seen it happen. When that happens you can start the boss fight as soon as you get the USB sticks and don't have to wait for the 45 minutes clock to run down and the storm to start moving.

I almost completely agree exept for de should never be above gk. Its not as hard, its not ass cool. It dosnt look as cool. Has less moves. Worse arena. One stage. And the boss fight is basicly run in circles, place the ragnorok and shoot its chest. Then repeat twice more. The boss itself is a really cool design and idea but its never really a threat at all. Just my opinion, no hate to yours. Keep up the great content ❤
100% agree. The DE boss fight arena is kinda lame in comparison to GK’s. I mean DE the arena backdrop is just complete darkness with skeletons around. GK is in wartorn Stalingrad with a Dragon flying around setting the arena on fire. You also have zombies, manglers, A mech, and RAPS from multiplayer. How can people say that a ton of panzers and a regular giant keeper is a better boss fight than GK? It’s laughable.
27:15 I kinda agree but I still think its sad that we're putting down the scientist we've been hearing logs from throughout the map. I guess the weird thing is it kinda feels triumphant, however? Like you're finally giving the guy peace after all he's been through with Modi.
The boss on Zetsubou no Shima is actually Ultimis Takeo mutated. You can see his face in the monster if you look closely at it. So, Nikolai isn't the first Ultimis crew member you fight in BO3.
Terminus boss fight is the first boss ive ever fought, mainly bc the ee was simple and beginner friendly. Ive played cod zombies since bo1 and i havent had this much fun on zombies since bo3. This game will definitely have a special place in my heart
I personally wouldn't consider the death circle as a boss, but I really enjoyed the stressful dynamic of having to move with the circle and anticipate where it'll move next. Me and my friends did the EE without a guide and were NOT ready for that sequence, which added to the craziness. I like when the EEs feature cool sequences like that
Great video, crazy yesterday after the cutscene release. I was thinking you should do a video ranking the most impactful characters in Zombies history. And boom heres a list of bosses, pretty much the same idea I had just different in topic. Keep em coming Milo.
I’m totally on your side with the Voyage EE. I personally loved that map, and that EE boss fight was incredibly challenging and had several different elements to it. With the wipe attack, 4 rounds, Blights, freeze beam. It was good. The crashes were fixed and should not be taken into account. I loved it
This makes me so excited for the newest maps in bo6. Finally a zombies system that feels right and like it has its own identity, combined with the renovations treyarch has made with full fledgd bossfights. MAN when Citadelle de Morts comes out it's gonna be like Christmas morning
For me the elephants are definitely at the top. Part of that is that it was the first EE boss fight I successfully managed to beat. But another part is that it’s probably the most thematically fitting boss fight in zombies history. Up until this point the collisseum was “just” a cool aesthetic. But the moment the elephants were released it felt like a true collisseum experience. You felt like a gladiator doing your best to survive against insane odds just to please the crowd’s bloodthirst. It also helps that the elephants look like Mumakils from LOTR, which I’m a huge fan of. Also the ending cutscene was genuinely shocking. DE is a close second, but those elephants are definitely #1 for me.
People can say what they want but as an OG zombies player who has played every card since world at war and was hugely into zombies in Black ops 1 and 2 and 3 also. Mwz was one of the best times i ever had when everything was new and fresh since bo1 and 2. It really was super fun
Pegasus boss fight doesn't force you to play the launcher. In co-op it incentivize shooting Pegasus together and in solo it incentivise planning because you wanna shoot it for as long as possible. I legit never really play the salvo, its boring af
love this think you should rank all treyarch maps next, IX in my opinion is a top 3 map and the atmosphere throughout the whole map is insane without the boss fight but with makes it the best arena in any map of all time, also love mauer wonder weapon was so fun same with klaus stopping the train
Bo6 is giving me the emotions I wish I had with bo3, racing into the map to be the first one to try new things, because, as much as I loved it, PlayStation first killed that game for me and many others, this time everyone gets a shot at being the first, and I love it, I’m so hyped
Interesting to see you put shadows at 9 but liberty balls at 22 even tho they both are in their pack a punch rooms without changing anything, reuses zombies and marguas as the floor zombie type, and both can be completed fairly easily because of etherella for liberty and the death machine gobble gum for shadows.
I personally wouldn't count any of the "Boss Fights" that are just Survival/Lockdowns as Boss Fights. Tree Monster and the Shadownam Fights count because you are technically damaging a unique Boss/Entity, but Liberty Falls is just a Lockdown with the maps Special/Elite Enemies; Tag is just a map tour in a confined space; and Die Machine is just another Lockdown. I just feel like if those count, then Origins counts, but I wouldn't count Origins a Boss Fight, so I don't include the other 3.
On the patient 13 boss fight, there is an emotional aspect to it that made me retroactively care about it a ton more. It just takes place entirely in the maps Intel collectables. Once I collected all of those, the boss fight made me really sad retroactively, but it of course requires the player to do some homework in order to achieve the same result as Die Maschine or Garod Krovy. There's also the really cool thing of seeing those big tentacles follow you around the map while doing the easter egg and you wonder in your head what's up with those. But it's one of those video game-y "there be monsters" that you wouldn't expect to be addressed. Only to find out that those aren't sea dragon zombies, it's a single entity that you fight as the main boss. As far as I'm aware, there's no other boss fight that so cleanly ties an element of direct danger to the player into the boss fight. There are some that are lurking in the background during the easter egg or normal play, but none that are actively endangering the player.
To all the people complaing that IW zombie boss fights, as well as exo zombies or vanguard or ww2 are not includedz that's because they are not specifically made by treyarch, meaning that any of them wouldn't rank here even if you tried since treyarch probably never had a hand involved with those versions of zombies
I feel like the * secret * element is whats really missing from b06 maps for me. No time travel segment or going to some crazy alternate lore area for the bosses. I hope citadel pulls out all the stops on the player characters unearthing some secrets
Maybe it's nostalgia, but Nikolai in Gorod is my forever number one. Just when you think you've done something epic because you've just SLAYED A F*CKING DRAGON, boom--here's Nikolai in a mech-suit destroying your entire team and the 3-4 hours you've spent leading up to the final fight. I've never felt so satisfied after defeating a Zombies boss. 🤘
Quite a few bosses missing here... Outbreak EE 2 boss, Vanguard bosses, and the other MWZ bosses outside of Greylorm and Entity. Also why is The Entity a "bonus" instead of being ranked third? Either way, solid list. A few suprise rankings here ngl!
@austinbros1000 Also all of IW bosses which were great. And WW2 etc. He didn't specifically state Treyarch only. It's a damn shame and a disservice when people pretend other dev zombie games don't exist.
Yo after seeing the forsaken boss fight I gotta idea. “Zombie Done RIGHT” BO3 Mod contest. Ofc it’s for Noah J but that would be cool. Like imagine the forsaken having full room wipe attacks and changing the room to different places in the dark ether like he’s absorbing the world and drawing the team deeper and deeper with each phase of his lowering health having different hazards as the team is consumed by the ether.
Terminus was like really hard for me and my friends. We spent like a week trying to do it and each day we would die at the very end and say okay we will try again tomorrow. And we would go on our own and watch videos on it and the next day try a new strategy to beat it and eventually we finally got it and the emotion was unmatched
What's funny is I would put the Oz Descent bossfight and the Alien Spaceland fight and even the Radioactive Thing bossfight higher than A LOT of these.
The fact that that by 7 terminus hasn't been talked about is said for me it would have went at 21 right after liberty falls I been grinding hard on bo6 but the maps just need something
I have to wonder where Oz (the ACTUAL first boss fight in Zombies) and the IW and WWII fights would rank on your list... Very cool watch, though! Thanks for all the great videos!
Patient 13 is a great boss fight but that is a scorching hot 1000 degree knife take to put that over the Keeper. Soundtrack was insane, difficulty was pretty hard without gobble gums, and the cutscene after. That is a bizarre take from Milo ngl
ive been thinking it for about a week nowXD im glad you put patient 13 as #1. Idk what it is. I've done most of the easter eggs in zombies and there is just something about this new boss fight that has made me enjoy whether im losing or winning. He's a true challenge. Can't wait to see what they do with the next map. Gah>.
I kinda hope we can get back to the Bo4 style of bosses. Despite its faults in other areas, the boss fights in Bo4 were significantly better than what we had in Bo3. Not to say those Bo3 boss fights sucked, just that Bo4 refined it so well. Pretty much everything after Bo4 has felt like a step backwards. They aren’t terrible perhaps, but I would compare them to the Kraken from Extinction. As cool as that boss fight was, Bo3 and Bo4 were improvements, so they feel like they’re stepping backwards rather than forward. I’d much rather die to failing a mechanic than dying because a boss has too much health and they spam enemies in the arena. The one shot in the Der Eisendrache boss fight feels more balanced than the enemy spam in the Termimus boss fight. One trusts the player to use the visual cues provided to them while the other is a bandaid fix for the lack of actual challenge.
Out of curiosity, where do yall think IW zombies fits into this ranking? Zombies in spaceland specifically was such a fun boss but I remember it being SO mf annoying too
High. The Meph fight is clearly rank 1. Perhaps that's why it wasn't included? I thought for sure it would be. Then as the video went on it dawned on me no IW bosses would be. The alien fight is fun. Rat King, the attack monster was unique.

@@johngonzalez8146 aether sucked yea, but chaos (other then voayge) is great, ancient evil is unironically up there with Mob and Origins
@@johngonzalez8146you are wrong
I really like content like this from you. I appreciate your take on the different boss fights and I get to think about things I haven’t done in years.
Day 1 patch Legion boss fight was the hardest thing I feel like I’ve ever done in zombies. Genuinely heart pounding experience took me 3 or 4 tries.
Mrroflwaffles been goin CRAAAZZYYY with the amount of content lately and its been great, feelin like the old days again, i salute you milo🫡🫡
People can say what they want but as an OG zombies player who has played every card since world at war and was hugely into zombies in Black ops 1 and 2 and 3 also. Mwz was one of the best times i ever had when everything was new and fresh since bo1 and 2. It really was super fun
Defeating patient 13 after round 50 for the calling card with my boys is a core memory for me now never been that hype after beating a zombies boss
DE was the first Easter egg I was ever able to complete, it holds such a special place in my heart
9:10. People forget how much that ending hit people when it was first seen.
Pegasus boss fight doesn't force you to play the launcher. In co-op it incentivize shooting Pegasus together and in solo it incentivise planning because you wanna shoot it for as long as possible. I legit never really play the salvo, its boring af
Read the room dalek 😂 9:23
love this think you should rank all treyarch maps next, IX in my opinion is a top 3 map and the atmosphere throughout the whole map is insane without the boss fight but with makes it the best arena in any map of all time, also love mauer wonder weapon was so fun same with klaus stopping the train
I think that the Entity should be placed in 2nd instead of being a bonus boss.
MWZ gets overly hated honestly, for all it's problems it does some things very well, and story is one of them
@@flamingscar5263nah
@@flamingscar5263isn’t story the worst part like people consider it even worse than vanguard
DOTN boss fight is actually one of my favorite in zombies because I love the story and the thematics of the map
Bo6 is giving me the emotions I wish I had with bo3, racing into the map to be the first one to try new things, because, as much as I loved it, PlayStation first killed that game for me and many others, this time everyone gets a shot at being the first, and I love it, I’m so hyped
Interesting to see you put shadows at 9 but liberty balls at 22 even tho they both are in their pack a punch rooms without changing anything, reuses zombies and marguas as the floor zombie type, and both can be completed fairly easily because of etherella for liberty and the death machine gobble gum for shadows.
had to keep IW out to keep it fair for the other fights, i understand
Milo I’m ngl that Legion placement is unforgivable, Mephistopheles is now inside your walls
3:08 amazing cut
I failed forsaken the last time I played it because my guns glitched out or something and I just couldn't damage him at all :/
I feel like the * secret * element is whats really missing from b06 maps for me.
@GamerBully In all fairness the title does explicitly state he's only covering Treyarch games...
@@austinbros1000 He added that after everyone clowned on him for not having WW2/IW/AW
@@gr33nriver77 ah, didn't know that
@@austinbros1000 pretty sure it didn't earlier.
Tag der toten “boss fight” was intense af for me. I really like it, it’s unique.
Thank you for reigniting my love for zombies again brotha ❗️never stop being awesome 🙌
The clip of Dalek during the warden clip is hilarious 😂😂😂
And we would go on our own and watch videos on it and the next day try a new strategy to beat it and eventually we finally got it and the emotion was unmatched
still don’t have the 6 man worm trophy for mw3. Nobody would merge squads with me. It was my last trophy for the game, and I will never get it
You should do more rankings like all wonder weapons, all maps, etc. would be bangers
Also milo patient 13 lore with the voice box’s and notes is great look into that
What's funny is I would put the Oz Descent bossfight and the Alien Spaceland fight and even the Radioactive Thing bossfight higher than A LOT of these.
9:22 Dalek was ahead of times, turbulence is crazy.
22:08 I remember being late to work because me and my friends were so close to finally beating legion LOL.
Priorities.
13:52 is MOTD not count with the 3vs1 and the one has the zombies helping
The fact that that by 7 terminus hasn't been talked about is said for me it would have went at 21 right after liberty falls I been grinding hard on bo6 but the maps just need something
i would've put the MW3Z Entity above DEs Keeper, the Keeper when i did it didnt seem interesting
I have to wonder where Oz (the ACTUAL first boss fight in Zombies) and the IW and WWII fights would rank on your list... Very cool watch, though! Thanks for all the great videos!
ah good old bo4 where the biggest boss was the blue screens . Really loved the dlcs, IX was great and i loved ancient evil:)
Jon Dalek really enjoyed that cutscene lol had me howling 😂
Patient 13 is a great boss fight but that is a scorching hot 1000 degree knife take to put that over the Keeper. Soundtrack was insane, difficulty was pretty hard without gobble gums, and the cutscene after. That is a bizarre take from Milo ngl
20:34 Wait, we can just do that? Milo, can you help me with literally every BO3 Easter Egg?
You can shoot the lockers in the bank in liberty falls for extra points
Its been a hell of ride. Im really hoping we have more fights and atmosphere like bo3. It really could work in THIS engine
9:23 you made me spit out my Coca Cola and it nearly came out my nose 💀
ive been thinking it for about a week nowXD im glad you put patient 13 as #1. Idk what it is. I've done most of the easter eggs in zombies and there is just something about this new boss fight that has made me enjoy whether im losing or winning. He's a true challenge. Can't wait to see what they do with the next map. Gah>.
Hot take: iw zombies has better bossfights than every bossfight treyach has made
I kinda hope we can get back to the Bo4 style of bosses.
_Man, idk if Mephisto will EVER be topped! 😎_
It won’t be. Easily the hardest EE OAT
