      That's awesome to hear! The Himalayan 450 is great for daily commutes, even in heavy traffic. How has your experience been with its performance and handling in Bangalore's traffic? Any tips for fellow riders?

      @sankethhiremath7119 Месяц назад +1

      @@OnceARider Yeah. Thanks to Bangalore's pathetic infrastructure one can learn basic off roading skills on these horrible roads and with slow moving traffic weight can sometimes be an issue but it's okay once one gets used to it. Engine heat is okay considering its a big engine. Also Cant expect one to maneuver it the way hero Xpluse can be done. I get an average of 22-24 kmpl in city traffic.

    It's an amazing bike but the deal breaker is low end torque. For a adventure bike it's not acceptable.

    • @OnceARider
      @OnceARider  Месяц назад +2

      As per the specs the torque is there but you need to shift the gears quite frequently, specially in city riding conditions which is little annoying sometime. You need to get used to of it. However I would say during adventure ride or touring this would not be an issue.

    Can you suggest a rear tire hugger and an extension for front mudguard of the 450? The bike loves to throw dirt and muck on itself 🤦‍♂. Am tired of cleaning it

    • @OnceARider
      @OnceARider  Месяц назад

      Unforunately no specific made for Himalayan 450 options are available for rear tyre but you try some generic ones. And for the front, it already comes an extender installed as standard and people are kind of removing it to get more naked dirtbike look. Howerver if you want something bigger then, again there are no specific Himalayn 450 options available and you try some generic ones. In this case going to local market and explore will help.
