Honestly for me personally, the biggest announcement was Epic Mickey Rebrushed. The game was my childhood and the story and visuals were all amazing but the gameplay really held it back, so to see it get a full on from the ground up remake makes me so happy and hopeful for the franchise.
Devolver never misses in my opinion. They published cult of the lamb (my favorite game), hotline miami, my friend pedro, fall guys (before epic bought it and made it suck), Wizard with a Gun, Enter the Gungeon, Inscryption, Return to Monkey Island, Weird West, Terra Nil, Gunbrella, Loop Hero, Pikuniku, etc.
Not many of their games are "woah, this game is awesome!" But all of them are at least "Damn, this is a great game" Also, card shark is an underrated masterpiece, you should definitely check it out
Just looked up the japanese direct. There are so many games we didn't get, including Mother 3. On the other hand tho, the japanese did not get the Rare games. Why can't the release be the same everywhere

World of goo 1 released on switch (I believe in 2017) and I think it was the first game to use the motion controls for a pointer and it worked phenomenally from what I've heard.

With the Mother 3 stuff, I think Reggie said somewhere that the decision to not release it in the states wasn’t because of the game’s content, but I could be wrong

The one thing I don't like about Penny's Big Breakaway is that it's on PS5, Series, and Switch. But not on PS4 or Xbox One. What the hell, man! It runs really well on Switch, so why NOT put it on the consoles that are stronger?
I was a tiny bit disappointed with the direct. And that's coming from someone whose favourite games from the Switch are third-party games (Cuphead, Palia, Stardew Valley) but there were one or two games that seemed interesting.
It's nice to know that I'm not the only person who appreciates old games, if only more channels could showcase the entirety of them and not just the one-off episode.

I’m particularly hyped for smt v vengeance, I love smt and v was good fun but lacking in a lot of areas which vengeance looks like it’s gonna fix so I’m very very excited for that. Monkey ball I love the new style and I hope it will be as good as the originals, and epic mickey I used to play as a kid so I’m very happy for that too
I saw the announcement on shin Megami tensei 5 vengeance and I was like “oh yeah I got to play that game” and then got past a really hard boss and the game just opened up and it’s really fun really hope I can upgrade my smt 5 into vengeance or if nothing else release it on game pass for my xbox
I feel like they should stop slapping the Nintendo Direct moniker onto everything because that gets peoples hopes up for a big announcement when that wont happen
