Most of the Challengers I’ve seen you can turn ESC off without holding it before you start it. If you buy a Tazer you can unlock all hidden SRT features and the traction button will everything off just by pressing it once.
It still doesn't turn it all the way off, it allows you to spin a little more but there is still something preventing it from going into a full spin. Line lock does remove trac and stability completely though and I want to find out how to replicate that so it's like that all the time. I had my line lock glitch one time and stay on while driving normally, completely different car. Do what you are saying and go on a road surface that you don't get good traction and get them spinning in 2nd then shift to third and mat it they will spin but at a limited speed, you'll feel it go back to full power when you gain enough speed or traction and stop spinning.

Now after you do the hold and start procedure....and you get the chime and warning display that it's off, if you hit the sport button does that turn TC back on a bit or what????? Thanks 2018 rt
This is my question also. I'd think if we turn Sport mode on after disabling the stability control it will put the traction control back on, to the 20% for Sport mode.

Can you explain further why you wouldn’t recommend for an RT? (Assume I kno nothing about terminology) an open diff is a bad thing? Before I knew about the esc setting I just pressed the traction control button, I tried to do swings and burn outs and always noticed my left tire spinning but not my right. Also today I shredded my left tire doing the same thing. So recap can you explain why you say you don’t recommend
An open differential only spins 1 tire unless on a perfectly flat surface. If you're turning or doing a donut it's only going to spin one. This results in a lack of control, you can't whip it around like you'd want. A limited slip diff (lsd) will spin both, giving you way more control. A common mod for the r/t is swapping the diff for a hellcat or scat pack one with a steeper gear ratio since they come factory with an lsd. You can buy one new for around a grand and it will make a world of difference.

Anybody know how I can fix my ESC? My light turns on and off on my 2020 SXT due to an accident i got into and my suspension may be a lil damaged. My front driver wheel is curved in a lil bit? Any thoughts?
@@sebastianhernandez9329 so my first question is do you have insurance, cause that needs to be fixed under insurance lol. If it's already been repaired, seeing as it's a 2020 I can't imagine you're out of warranty yet in which case I'd take it to the dealer and let them fix it under warranty

I have a 2017 SXT coupe. Turns off when you are parked but then as soon as you start driving, it comes back on and shows that the SPORT tract is on fml.

If you just hold the the traction control button for 30 seconds that will happen you don’t have to use the push button start for that.
